Couldn't ship for weeks. Said I couldn't cancel an unshipped order! Socks showed up after about three week. After two weeks the seams are coming apart. A total waste of $160 and a hassle. Want real reviews? Go to site jabber

The board is well-meaning but clunky to use and moderation too slow to pick up on problems. As a result the occasional nutjob gets in under the radar. Overall though not a bad site - most of the people using it are supportive and there's a lot of good infomation

They said they could give you costs for assisted living facilities for several facilities near my home. I was just doing my homework and was thrilled with the idea of getting some costs quickly. I had to give my name, address, phone number and e-mail address to get any info. I don't want to be flooded with facilities contacting me. DON'T DO THIS! IT WASN'T HELPFUL!

Very slanted against grandparents, where many of the d-i-l's are allowed to rant and rave and abuse their in-law's (IL's), showing no respect at all for the GP's (grandparents). Sure, the GP's make mistakes, but reading these posts makes the reader aware that they aren't the only ones doing so. But, the fire is held to THEIR feet to correct the problems, with nary a word to the parents of the children to do anything.

Horrible site. I'm surprised the grandparents return to get clobbered so much. I feel for them.

I wasn't able to find affordable long term care insurance on completelongtermcare.com. Everything is way to expensive and I don't think it's worth it. I seems like I would be better off investing my own money and self-insuring rather than buying long term care insurance.

We stumbled upon the house sitting service website, did our due diligence and found what we believed was a lovely couple to house/pet sit during our month-long trip. While they took great care of our felines, unfortunately the sitters left our home in a disastrous state with many items ruined, stained and non-repairable. But even worse than that is that the site permits their registered SITTERS dictate what reviews are and are not posted on their profile, which is why every review on the site is positive, which in turn gives homeowners a false sense of security when hiring a sitter via the site. I have had multiple email conversations with the company regarding our experience and my strong desire to post a fair and honest review to no avail. Suffice to say, the review system is seriously flawed and completely untrustworthy.

Tip for consumers:
BEWARE OF UNTRUSTWORTHY SITTER REVIEWS!

First dealings with solutions mobility in may this year when we saw on ebay mobility scooter which was just right for my husband and easy for me to lift in and out of the car, it said to ring for his best offer, iemail and asked for photo of scooter which they email back to me it looked good so i offer 220 on condition my son could view it. They emailed back saying yes that would be ok. My son went to look at it then phoned me to say it looked ok but did i want warrenty on it which would be another 50 pound i said no, but he said he woul give 30 days, on 29th day scooter stopped working. Phoned them said to bring it back they would fix it for nothing, which we thank them for. First wk went by when we phoned to see what was wrong and how long would it take, they said a part had been ordered for it. Second wk still waiting for part, third wk still waiting could put part on from another scooter but didnt want to do that,(fair enough) wk 4 still no part, i explained my husband had no legs and was really needing his scooter doing asasp. Wk 5 no part infact was told no part ordered as they would be out of pocket so what were they going to do, waitfor another scooter to come in to take part off, how long would that take, more or less told how long is a piece of string! We contacted trading standards who said to writeto solutions moblitiy which we did, to which a reply came back saying we had made abusive phone calls to them (lies wouldnt be abusive to anyone) and was told they would not be fixing scooter make arangments to pick it up.

Whenever we had someone come to help us out they were always respectful and professional. The advantage of this program is you do not need to hire someone off of craigslist on an ongoing basis.
