I purchased a vehicle over a month now and still have not received the title for the car. At this point I don't even know if I own the car. I have tried calling and emailing but have not had any luck. Car guru has sent me emails but all they do is brush me off to their subcontractor business autopay. I'm trying to get an answer but no one can help me. I would definitely not recommend using car gurus or auto pay.
Didn't have issue with Car Gurus. My issue is with your partner autopay. Getting close to a month now and they(autopay) is still trying to figure out how to get seller their money. What's even worst, my first car payment is due first week in Aug and I still don't have my vehicle. So i have to pay for something that's not even in my possession, seriously... get with guys and do something.
Then I get a bunch of excuses when in question them. I really think someone at Car Gurus needs to look into this and re-evaluate the vendor. I can get a home loan quicker than this.
I don't want excuses I want my vehicle. I also want to know what will be done to make this situation right.
I don't know about you; but when some tells me they will do something and it doesn't happen I consider that being lied to. Which this happened at least twice already.

I responded to a few car ads- for new cars- when dealers contacted me- the price they advertised was suddenly increased by at least $3,000 beyond original quote. Dealers began to itemize everything on the car, window tint etc... as reasons for the increase. When they got through, the deal, was no deal at all. I consider that technique annoying and a waste of time for the customer to offer a bogus deal with no intention of follow through.
Best car buying experience ever. Pretty simple and straight forward. Texas Toyota of grapevine is the place to if you want simple straight forward experience. Ask for Sales Manager Sanjay and he will cut the chase and make it easy and painless.
I started using car guru to sell my 07 Corvette. I instantly got junk mail upon junk mail! They also wanted a photo copy of my drivers license front and back and a photocopy of the title front and back. That is too much information for a unknown website to have
CarGurus suck. If I could give them a zero, I would. They only want to work with dealerships. They make it harder for individuals to list cars. I would rather deal with the flakes on Craigslist than jump through all the hoops for CarGurus.
Tried to sell my car on here and did a very thing they asked even varified my identity. My car wasn't getting as much attention as I had hoped so I paid the extra $20 to have my listing featured and the next day right in the middle of messaging 3 potential buyers who were very interested they took my listing down. Said I needed to write some letters on a piece of paper put it on the windshield, open one of the front doors and take a picture so they could verify I wasn't trying to scam some... Like are you freaking kidding me! The picture of my ID, vin plate and license plate wasn't enough? They cater to the dealers. It's almost like they make it hard for you to sell your car so you'll just trade it in.
Cargurus is the worst campany that I worked with. I am car business owner. They are keep removing from my account good reviews stating they are fake? Are you kidding me? I am working hard to gain those reviews but they are removing them. Every time you try to call them and actually talk to somebody they either on vacation or away from desk. Manager never there I don't think they even have a manager. Worst company ever I don't know how they are still in the business.

T is mostly overprice dealers and CarGaru's conspire to prevent your seeing the car, vetting it or even talking to the private sellers.
Absolutely the worst way to buy a car. Guaranteed your are dealing with one crook (carGaru) and probably a dealer, that was going to mark up my trade in 400%.

Wanted to add a review of Madison Eastside Toyota. Cargurus wanted to verify if I'd communicated with them. I have send them emails and called them. Car gurus claimed I hadn't which was completely false I bought a car from them for crying out loud. No contact? So they wouldn't allow me to post a review. In the verification process there is no box for contacting them via there message system on their website, I'd used that also. Big hole in their verification process. Just plain baloney.
I would like to thank CHERATI MOTORS and my sales guy Ricky for his over the top assistant and services with the purchase of my 2011 Dodge Charger RT. The whole the experience was excellent. I ran across a glitch with their website that would not allow me to post my car. I have tried to email and call and fix the problem using their FAQs and nothing works. So frustration. Going to Auto trader.
Scheduled an appointment to purchase a Maserati Ghibli was the best experience no haggling or over priced negotiating going on straight to the point. Shout outs to Sam the man he will work with you to get the job done.
Purchasing a vehicle from Carnova has been such a joy for me. I wanted a BMW with low mileage.The vehicle was beautiful and the price was right. Financing was easy with Gerard.The only problem I had was on my end, I work long hours. I shared my concerns with Cristina and she was able to coordinate a time with me to have my vehicle delivered!
Car Gurus does not respond to queries quickly, and decided to lock my listing as soon as a potential buyer replied to my listing. It then takes two more days to have it verified. They had days before to ask for this, and suddenly lock it when buyers reply.
I was sold a vehicle with hidden defects and am being denied the right to leave a review on the business that committed fraud (Motorcars East in Derry, NH) despite my offering to provide a copy of my Bill of Sale to prove I purchased from their business. Unfortunately CarGurus would rather protect frauds and crooks than customers. I do not recommend this site for any reason.
Great site for car shopping. There is a menu where you can send an email to the dealer. Many choices and comparisons. Really gives good insight to a good car for a good price.

We did not have to spend hours haggling over price or trade in, just straight forward about what we wanted and how to come together to make it happen. Larry and Shawn gave us all the details and provided the customer service we expected. We will continue to do business with Piehl Motors.
This is the Worst car Selling site out there! Trust me, I've researched them all and I got the Least amount of views from them all. Craigslist and Ebay are the BEST options! I sold my car in less than 2 weeks!
