Toyota is known for producing reliable and fuel-efficient vehicles that offer excellent value for money. I've owned several Toyota cars over the years and have always been impressed by their performance and durability. The brand's reputation for longevity and low maintenance costs makes it a top choice for budget-conscious car buyers. Additionally, Toyota's commitment to innovation, with features like hybrid technology and advanced safety systems, ensures that their vehicles remain competitive in today's market. Overall, I highly recommend Toyota to anyone in the market for a dependable and economical vehicle

Car won't turn over – maybe it is the battery? You say jump-starting worked, well we will only charge you a small fee to confirm that it is the battery. Months ago I took my Toyota Hybrid Avalon in for service, the battery was dead, I needed to jump start the vehicle. I was told that is was due to a defective positive battery terminal. The next day the same thing happened again, the car would not start. I returned to my dealer and after a day's investigation they suggest that someone have changed the original battery and installed an incorrect replacement. It turns out that in 2020 I had the same issue and it was this dealer that installed the battery that just failed. They have since replaced the one they installed after destructive testing, leaking the acid over the battery and batter compartment. I submitted the service reports to Toyota Customer Experience Center, Case *******00830. I was certain that the battery itself was defective because it was confirmed by the dealership. In any case I requested reimbursement of the paid amount, $160.79, based on the vehicle warranty. I have spoken the service manager, Rob Hayes. He suggested I write directly to Toyota based on the above analysis and Toyota would reimburse me. Toyota has a responsibility to insure equipment works and if it fails in the normal course of driving with no exceptional use, they should repair or replace item at no cost to their customer, especially those with a long commitment to the manufacturer. It demonstrates that product loyalty is of no concern to Toyota. Not only that but the active functioning of their product. There was a time when reliability was paramount, not any more. Thanks for your support and help. More important is the fact that none of the following offered any help, consideration, or reply: 1. Letter to their Chief Operating Officer 2. Warranty program. 3. Customer Experience Center. 4. National Center for Dispute Settlement. 5. Finally they recommend Small Claims Court; but I am not sure that it is worth this effort. Respectfully, Michael A. Miller

I was and I am a happy owner of 2 toyotas. First is 1999 Corolla and second is 2007 Tundra. Toyota is the best car ever. Long term standing, very reliable. I also had Chevrolet which is total disaster. Chevrolet is the same bad thing as Dodge. Just by the way of comparison Toyota is the best.

Apart from good cars, Toyota shows real respect to it's customers. When I had a question, I called Toyota and wrote them email. The response was very quick and prompt. Again, unlike Chevrolet. When I owned Chevrolet, dealer and manufacturer representative yelled at me over the phone.

I do recommend Toyota to everyone.

I can't even explain how amazing Toyota is. Even tho my car broke down on the highway I still really love this car. It's leg room in the back is perfect for a dog or animal or small human and the trunk space is even better. I love my Toyota Camry.

I had a couple of Toyotas in my life and all of them were very reliable. They maybe weren't the best looking or the most powerful cars I drove. But the brand definitely knows how to make cars that can serve you for ages.

Subject: Vehicle Warranty
Vehicle: 34 CRB 154.2020 Model. 47,000 km

Past:
On 15.02.2024, noise and smoke came from the engine while traveling on the Bursa highway at 05 in the morning. The vehicle was parked and a tow truck was called. The vehicle was towed to Bursa Toyota Akkoyunlu service. As a result of the service inspection, it was reported that there was damage to the engine block. Afterwards, the same information was given for the vehicle that was shown to a local master. The vehicle was sent by tow truck to the Istanbul Toyota Sonkar service, where I work regularly. In the examination carried out here, it was reported that there was damage to the engine block.
Problems:
1. When the vehicle was examined at Toyota Akkoyunlu and Sonkar Services, no information was given about the Warranty On Insurance.
2. When I requested that the vehicle be covered under Warranty, the Service Manager said that since the vehicle was inspected before us, we do not include it in the warranty.
3. Those who inspected the vehicle were Bursa Toyota Akkoyunlu and Local Master. These indicate that they did not disassemble the engine part.
4. Additionally, despite my insistent request, Sonkar Service did not provide written information about the reason for not being included in the warranty.
5. Vehicle maintenance has always been carried out on time at Istanbul Sonkar service. The engine block damage of the 2020 model vehicle with 47,000 km is unacceptable.
6. The vehicle, which is famous for being durable, had engine block damage on the highway. Thus, it created a security problem for my family at 5 am.
7. I am a customer who has four Toyota brand vehicles in my family and does not use any other brand vehicle. This situation disappointed us all.
Wants:
1. I request that the vehicle be included within the scope of Warranty and repaired.
2. If the vehicle is not included in the scope of Warranty, I request that the rejection letter be sent to me.
3. If a negative response is given, legal proceedings will be initiated by me unwillingly.

We just love our Toyota Tacoma, it's the perfect size for work and pulling our pontoon. Gas mileage is pretty good for a truck also

I got a 2010 Prius! Initially it was very good and used 43-44mpg however after 5 years that number dropped and now closing to 10 years I'm only getting 33mpg. 10 gal less. I'm contemplating getting a new hybrid however would like to hear what other consumers have to say.

Let's start with WTF Toyota?!?
1. Why in the freakin' world you removed variable intermittent wipers option?!? Every stinkin' ford and even fiat/chrysler has it as standard equipment. Even Soviet "cars" of last millennia had it...

2. What was wrong with normal standard cruise control lever - why did you replace it with funky buttons?!? Was it for the difference's sake? FYI: not everything different is necessarily good.
3. Your "infotainment" traditionally sucks, and mine is not an exception - lousy 19th century interface, limited functionality.
4. What's up with your intrusive spying "technology"?!? I removed DCIM fuse to disable it, and bluetooth microphone stopped working. I am installing an aftermarket head next week so you can shove it.

Now what I love and what outweighs the above ridiculous stuff
1. Excellent dirveability and handling. Even on ice and in snow with STOCK "low resistance" tires.
2. Quiet ride
3. Good fuel economy - 40M PG avg in the winter
4. Legendary reliability. Didn't have a chance to test it myself (mine only has 3,400 miles) but hope I won't be disappointed.

I have a Toyota tacoma with Dunlop tires. 45,000 miles and the tires were junk. I do my home work. Best price was 899 dollars mounted. The Dunlop tires for Tacoma are 40,000 mile rated. No way I went looking for 17 inch rim tires that fit my Tacoma
I picked up Bridgestone 17 inch tires approved for Tacoma. The cost was 620 mounted. The mile rating 80,000 miles. Never get yourself caught up in the factory issue things with out seeing if there is better product out there. Oh I saved 280 dollars on the whole issue. Doing my home work and finding what was best for my toy.

Only have 55k on the clock and the inverter for my Toyota auris hybrid has broken (£1500 to
Fix). Same problem on their Prius cars but dealer didn't care. Just said it's broken and you need it fixed. I will never buy a Toyota again. Buying a hybrid should save you money but if anything goes wrong all the saving you made will vanish.

This used to be the most desired vehicle for durability! OMG I have a 2012 that has 4 recalls, and a 2014 that is the L now I know what L means = Low Low end. The 14 does not come with remote access, key locks (when was the last time your saw that) needed new tires to pass inspection something about soft tread? Then the recalls. To add insult to injury, if anyone has been following the pictures of the fleet of trucks being used in the war. Hummm Toyota has branded itself as a supporter, they have fleets of Toyota Tacoma's, the question has been raised who is sending? Who is supporting this transfer of vehicles, I'm not happy being a owner, Toyota at minimum should issue credits to owners as the value of the vehicle is diminished by the recalls and shoddy workmanship. Not mention unknown support for the attacker, legally against the law to assist known enemies of the USA
