Big Country Auto of Dallas
March 25, 2023

Big Country Auto of Dallas is owned by Sean Morrisey and Rip is one of the salesmen who helped me. I found this company on Cars.com one night while searching for a car to purchase. I saw this car that I really liked so I decided to send an availability email to see if the car was still in their inventory. The next day I received a text message from the company asking if I were still interested in the car in which I scheduled an appointment to test drive. Prior to arriving to this appointment I had experienced horrible customer service from other dealerships from being told lies about the interested vehicle having accidents and being told they hadn't to being ignored for several minutes to the point where I just got up and walked out. This company really intrigued me because they didn't do any of that. This company not only sent me a carfax information about the vehicle I was interested but he also sent me an autocheck with step by step information on the history of the car. The day before our appointment he sent me a text letting me know he replaced the car battery and the morning of my visit he sent me photos of the vehicle letting me know he took the car out to get it washed in case I decided to purchase the vehicle and the best route to get to them. When we arrived there we saw him pulling out the car for us like clockwork. We test drove then set down to discuss numbers. Not only did they make the numbers work for us but the owner of the company even came in to make sure we were satisfied with the end result and even let us take the vehicle home for the weekend to make sure it was what we really wanted. After purchasing the vehicle I ran into a situation where my fob wasn't working and I was stranded at a store that did not sell batteries. Because my husband was at work I called Rip to see if he knew what to do and have to say this awesome man not only tried walking me through steps to try to resolve the issue but when that didn't work he headed to his office from home so he could grab batteries and bring them to me. Mind you this drive was almost an hour drive away from where I was. I began looking at different areas of the car and figured out what was wrong and how to start the car again and called him to cancel his trip. I was so grateful that he was willing to drive so far to help me and could not have asked for better customer service with this company. If you are really looking for honest people who embattle the truest meaning of customer service with vehicles that are not going to break down on you next week this is the company you are wanting to check out and when you do tell me them Michelle L sent you.

Zero Stars/ Findlay Honda
June 28, 2022

Purchased a (Jaguar) from this dealership on 6/14/2022 within 8 hours the car cut off on me twice in the middle of traffic, the engine light came on and the steering wheel locked on me. Called the sales person "Tay Manns" the same day, never returned my call. Went to return to the dealership the following morning 6/15/2022, the head lights would not turn off for any reason, when trying to turn the lights off a piece of the handle fell off. I immediately asked to return the car due to too many problems within 24hrs and requested a refund (ALL MAJOR RED FLAGS)! Was told no refunds soon as you drive off the lot, called the financing company and they disagreed, said that was a LIE!

Was given EVERY EXCUSE in the book, was told to take the car to Jaguar and the problem would be fixed within 24-48 hrs. A whole week later still no answers, no contact from anyone no nothing but they had no problem taking my $2600 down payment for a car I had less than 24 hrs. Went back to Jaguar (8 days later), the car battery was completely dead, the keyless key had no key inside to manually unlock the car door to get my belongings out, so not only within 8 hours the car cut off on me twice in the middle of traffic, the engine light came on, the steering wheel locked on me and the fuel pump needed to be replaced which ALL should have been mentioned in the inspection report and was not. Basically I was scammed and sold a LEMON!

Every time you call the salesman which I called 8-10 times demanding to speak with a mngr, "Tay Manns" the sales guy, will LIE and tell you the managers are on vacation and when in fact they are in the office. NEVER do business with this crappy company! VERY DISHONEST!

CARGURUS Locks you in FOR LIFE!
January 1, 2021

BEWARE! When you post on a very seller UNFRIENDLY Cargurus site and you are Not lucky enough to sell your vehicle within a short period of time, a very disturbing 'time clock' is posted on your ad by the Cargurus software. This 'time clock' tracks how long your vehicle has been posted for sale (no matter how many times you try to delete your ad) and is just one of the many 'deterrents' that a potential buyer sees when Cargurus posts your listing and when any potential buyer looks at your vehicle for sale. Unfortunately, if a SELLER has unforeseen health or other issues causing the vehicle to remain listed for a prolonged period of time and unavailable to be shown, the 'time clock' doesn't recognize this and your vehicle gets tagged as a car that has been listed 'forever' and 'undesirable'... I had a vehicle listed and due to health issues, I was not able to show or sell my car for over 100 days while listed on the site, now I have a permanent 'time clock' showing 'active for 100+ days' and growing! Due to Cargurus keeping the sellers vin # on file indefinitely, this 'time clock' stays constant regardless of whether you delete your ad or not! Obviously, if a buyer doesn't know the sellers circumstances and sees a car listed for several weeks or months, they are going to pass thinking there is something wrong with the vehicle. Cargurus also posts a large warning 'opinion' next to all customer ads stating whether your vehicle is a 'good deal' or 'over priced' deal which is also unfair to the seller. I have a very low mileage vehicle, I listed it at the high end of the selling range and due to Cargurus warning 'opinion', Cargurus unfairly flagged the car as 'OVER PRICED' or 'ABOVE MARKET PRICE' which again, discourages perspective buyers to read further in the ad which would allow the seller to justify their asking price. Another disturbing thing a SELLER has to put up with is if a seller decides to lower the price of their vehicle listed, Cargurus notifies perspective buyers of this action thus indicating that the seller failed to sell their vehicle at a previously advertised price, again drawing attention to the fact that a vehicle maybe list for an lengthy period. Upon calling 'Jordan' at Cargurus customer service, I was told there is nothing he can do regarding my concerns but MOST DISTURBING OF ALL, I was informed by Jordan that due to my Vin # being on file indefinitely with the company, I CANNOT refresh or delete my ad!... it remains in the Cargurus data bank indefinitely!... you can only mark it 'inactive'... even if you deactivate the ad for a year and decide to repost it, it will then repost 'on the market for 365 days'! Bottom line... This is a BUYER friendly site only that is more interested in gathering your personal information than it is in seller your car! If you are a SELLER, don't waste your time or $$ with Cargurus... there are plenty of other sites to sell your vehicle without these troubling and disturbing seller unfriendly requirements, privacy intrusions, and policies.
VERY DISTURBING. AVOID!

IDrive Utah Trucks (Jordan the swindler)
June 15, 2020

I found a truck online and contacted a salesperson named Jordan. I asked multiple questions about the truck and was reassured that everything was good to go. I drove 9 1/2 hours straight from Montana based off the fact that I trusted what Jordan had told me about the truck over the phone and the reviews on google about Idrive Utah. Screen shots of the entire conversation are below. The truck wasn't even looked over nor was anything fixed or made perfect for my arrival, numerous things are wrong with the truck which I found out after leaving the lot and spending $******* of my life savings. It's sad that a salesperson would let someone travel multiple states but not even look a truck over to the point where the AC doesn't work, was told by the dealership that it only needed to be recharged (after bringing it up) so I trusted that statement and took it into an AC place which hooked it up their machine and supposedly fixed the Freon levels but the AC still doesn't work. My salesperson Jordan said" he drove the truck I bought to the the fuel station with all the windows down in 90 degree heat but never used the ac system? I find that hard to believe since IDrive Utah is air conditioned and who drives a truck with all the windows down on a hot day? Who doesn't make sure everything is perfect when they know they have a customer who trusted them enough to put down a $1000. 00 non refundable deposit. Out of all the years I purchased vehicles I've never once felt like I was lied to as much as i was while doing business at IDrive Utah. Then I take it in to have the computer checked and 3 codes popped up one of them being the ecm/pcm. I paid top dollar for a truck that I thought was and should have been turn key ready to go for a very long time.
I want to see if there a way we can resolve this. I also put attn owners so this email needs to be forwarded to the owners as well.
I help up to my end by showing up when I said I would and paying all cash but the staff at IDrive Utah did nothing to go out of their way to make sure I was buying a solid truck.
I'm a military veteran and served my country, I am religious and live an honest life. I never thought I would drive away feeling like I had been lied to and shown that level of disrespect.
I could have bought a brand new truck if I wanted to but I chose to go with a manual which are no longer made in the diesel world.
If someone who actually has authority with idrive Utah could call me back so we can discuss this that would be greatly appreciated
I Purchased the 2007 Silver Dodge Ram 3500 4X4 Mega Manual from your company last week.
The Mechanic said he pressure washed the engine bay extremely throughly, I had asked why there was foam missing from under the hood and he said it was from the pressure washer. After doing research on the 5.9 24V Cummins' the ECM/PCM IS Located on the outside of the engine next to the intake horn and is exposed to the elements. When sprayed with water it can cause the computer to malfunction and have problems which is probably what happened but who knows maybe it was there before he pressure washed but chosen not to be replaced.
As a customer I feel like I deserve the same honesty and respect I have had for dealership.
Just like me agreeing to a $1k non refundable deposit based on the fact the salesperson (Jordan) said that truck is sweet and in great condition. Again this serious email is for the general manager and to be forwarded to the owners.
I can contact to owner directly if need be and I will but I would like to see if the chain of command so to speak will do the right thing before I need to bypass any employee and go straight to the top.
Im honestly curious how much you care about customer satisfaction and how honest your whole team of sales and service guys are over at that dealership.
I was told the issue I pointed out would be easy and cheap fixes but that's not the case after I left the look. I'm looking a minimum of $2k and that's on the low end for the parts and labor.
I HAVE NEVER LEFT A NEGATIVE REVIEW IN MY LIFE FOR ANY COMPANY SO THIS SHOULD SHOW YOUNHIW SERIOUS I AM ABOUT THIS TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

*****jordan the salesperson was shady, misleading and most of all doesn't go out of his way to do his job or make sure his customers are taken of*****. I spent $27,500.00 cash for my truck which i was told was in turn key ready to go condition by Jordan. WRONG. He never even inspected the vehicle he was about to sell off to another person. All he care about was he commission from the sale. Again he let me send him $1000. 00 to hold the truck which I was told needed nothing when I was in Montana. They had 5 whole days to look that truck over real well and fix anything that's broken or need touching up. He didn't have that done.
I based my entire sale off the trust I thought me had built up before I got there but looking back he didn't care about me or my money.
He would always text back that he was "busy with customers" (after I sent the deposit that's non refundable) and never once addressed or fixed any of my concerns.
His excuse about the issues with the truck were "how was I supposed to know? I ask my mechanic" if I was selling anything to anyone I would look every inch mover myself to make sure the aren't going to be surprised or disappointed.
Jordan I am going to prey from you and hope god can help you. I would not however recommended iDrive Utah Trucks to any other person I meet in my life. All lipstick on a pig and B. S.

CarGurus protects the dealer not the consumer
September 22, 2019

Purchased a car that was altered with a replacement engine. Dealer did not mention this. I wrote a review describing the event. CarGurus would not publish it. Stating that I was mentioning legal action. When I did no such thing. This is what i posted:
HONDA PILOT 2016 5FNYF6H52GB*******Engine has been replaced. Mileage is incorrect.
Replaced engine with 30+ thousand miles is not mentioned in the summary.
VVehicle has been altered. But this alteration has not been documented.
I was NEVER told about this. After I refused to purchase and asked for refund. Dealer turned around and placed the car for sale same as before w/o any correction.
This is simply thievery.
This is the type of practice that makes used car sales a dirty business.

Very happy with my purchase and experience with Rockland Auto Brokers.
October 27, 2018

I am a retired member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and I was looking for a good used SUV and spotted one on the Rockland Auto Brokers site by way of CarGurus.com I called the Rockland Dealership and spoke to the owner Adriano and expressed my interest in the 2005 Toyota 4 Runner they for sale in their lot, but advised him I lived in Canada and I could not come down for a test drive for a few days; could he hold the vehicle for me for a couple of days and I would fly down to Boston and then come to Rockland to test drive the vehicle; unusual circumstances " for sure ". I went one step further, and told Adriano I would email him a copy of my plane ticket so he would know that I was serious. Adriano agreed to hold the vehicle, I booked my flight and sent him a copy of my plane ticket immediately. Two days later I flew from Massena, New York to Boston; and the following morning at 08:00 a.m. Adriano met me at the dealership at 250 Webster St., Rockland, Mass. Adriano and his staff were very welcoming; and he and I went for a test drive. When we got back to the dealership I asked if he could put the vehicle up on the hoist which he did without hesitation. All the questions I asked Adriano he also answered without hesitation and I sensed he was a very honest fellow working for his family to make a living and no more. Five minutes later we shook hands and I bought the vehilce. I drove the vehicle seven and a half hours back to the border in order to export it out of the U.S. and left it with U.S. Customs Export Control for the required 72 hour period so all documents could be checked and the vehicle cleared for export. The whole drive up to Canada the Toyota 4 Runner ran like a dream and both myself and my wife are very pleased with our purchase. I will seek out Adriano and Rockland Auto Brokers again when I am looking for another vehicle. I'm very happy with this vehicle.
