Neverending payments Extremely high interest rates. Equal to payday loan! Every month High charges for alleged card protection. A Big mistake
CARECREDIT- they DON'T CARE about people, and doesn't want to help at all. They care just about how to stole your money. Look at their ratings Please people don't use their cards.
They give you a Promotional for 6 months same as cash which is great however if you use your card for other purchases and you want to pay that off they apply what you paid to the Promotional balance instead. You can even call and tell them you want it applied to the balance that is not promotional and they will do the exact opposite. I have been dealing with this for the last 6 months and I have decided to just give up with calling or messaging customer service. They have no ideal what they are doing. They proved that when I called today about the balance and the customer service person said " So I will send you a new card"
WTH I'm done!
I am only using it for promotional same as cash purchases from now on if I even do that.
My dog had an unexpected emergency procedure
I did not have enough money so I applied for credit while at the vet. I was approved 1000 dollars well I maxed the card right then. I paid the balance off 1 week. The charge cleared the bank.
So my dog died yesterday and I wanted to use care credit to pay it 450ish. The vet said it declined
I immediately call care credit as my dog was dying on my lap. I told the agent that took my call that I should have 1000 because I paid it off and it cleared from my bank so care credit had there money. I was told it takes 10 days to process I told them about the bank clearing and accepting my transaction. The agent said the bank may reject the transaction. I said that is odd. They said no. So when I got home from putting my dog down I closed the care credit
Was charged interest on new purchases. Have to call after every payment to make sure funds are allocated to correct balances. Micha and manager Kevin Young were rude, untruthful, and would not reverse the incorrect finance fee. Closing this account immediately. Please avoid this bogus company if at all possible. Other credit card companies are not as deceptive. Really hope they go out of business. Not BBB accredited.
They commit the crime of usury. Now 30% interest rates, teaser rates when you first start. I paid 2 1/4 times the minimum on a dental bill and ended up owing $168 more on my bill after the payment. They were once reliable. Now they are the equivalent of a Pay Day Loan service for medical bills. They are not a solution!
I was paying more than minimum amount do and on time and my interest rate increased. This card is not helpful it's a total ripoff. Care credit and the healthcare providers are the only ones benefiting from this crap. I would never recommend this card.
Got interrest free loan from CareCredit for 18 month. After 18 month my balance was around 3800 bucks. Now I got statement and balance is over 5000 bcs CareCredit charged me interrest since day I've been making payments for around 200 a month but that's been wiped out and I feel like the money I payed so far had been stolen from me. If I knew how crappy this deal is I would have not accept the loan. If I did something like this I would have end up in prison. How can this be even legal and what can I do about it?
29.9% interest rates and can't afford to provide return payment envelopes. CS rep said to go buy envelopes or pay online. I asked for manager he said he was unaware envelopes were no longer being provided and said the same thing, but added I could pay through my bank. I reiterated what I told the CS rep, that I do not do any online payments or online banking due to 4 breaches in the last 5 years. Now last week Oregon DMV was hacked and they want me to put my info online? Forget that! Give your customers their dang return payment envelopes!
I was pre-approved for a card and spent 45 minutes and 4 calls to customer service completing the ridiculously involved application process to only be told I was denied. I have never been denied for a credit card in my life and have a credit rating of excellent. Customer service was extremely unhelpful and could not answer any questions. Would be nice to be able to give less than a 1 star rating.
I was going to Aspen Dental. They talked me into applying for credit to see if I could get implants but I could only qualify for a $1000 limit with CareCredit. They talked me into talking it, claiming I could use having it to build credit. They were not supposed to charge anything to it. I called Aspen Dental when I found out that they lied to me and canceled all my appointments and told them to refund the amount. They claimed all their systems were down and I needed to contact the credit company. I contacted them and they said they had to look into it. After waiting more than a month CareCredit told me they found I was responsible for the charge even though I received NO Service other than what was already charged to my dental insurance. I have to pay for my dental care that I have receipts from my insurance company for to CareCredit so Aspen Dental is being paid twice. CareCredit does not care because they don't want to lose out on the interest on the over $500 Aspen dental charged on my account. I am disabled and have to now come up with money for a fraud lawyer.
The amount of the treatment plan at the Chiropractic Office was approved by Care Credit which is offered by Synchrony Bank. The full amount went directly to the Chiropractor and I was not allowed to see the individual cost of each treatment given. After 5 months of trying, I got a statement of the very high costs, which were very high, and one was bogus. I disputed the costs to Synchrony Bank, who offers Care Credit, but was ignored. Just be wary. Check out the individual costs of their treatment plan and demand a monthly accounting, showing your payments to Synchrony. Synchrony's website says statements are available but when you go to "Statements" you get the latest promotions. Neither Synchrony Bank, nor Care Credit is user friendly nor are their websites user friendly.
I had care credit for years and out the blue while playing on time my account was closed! Be careful people this bank is a scam and out to put you in debt!
I I started checking my interest rate I noticed that my interest goes up every month when I called them and talked to them the reason was because I pay my payment on time and pay more than what I should my interest will go up 3 months ago I paid $1,000 so my interest should be going down correct no it's not it is more now than what it was before I paid the $1,000 do not use their card if you do watch what they do and what they charge you.
They said that it will not impact my score, they misled my and my score was greatly impacted. I am pissed off and closed the account today. My score went from 849 to 809 from their hard inquire, they never said this at any time.
This is Bull $#*!, and now my score is hurt by them for 2 years.
That really pissed me off!
They will find ways to charge you extra and you will not know it. They convinced me to get it to pay for my tooth surgery with zero interest. I borrowed 2,500$ and i was supposed to pay it in 12 months. After 12 months of paying it it went down from 2,500$ to 2000$! Only 500$. The loan was supposed to be paid off in one year but they add a bunch of none-sense and they hire people to argue with you on the phone with zero intention to help. You will end up paying 200% more than what you borrowed, and yes they won't call it interest, they will call it something else. This company is a sham please don't trust a word they say and believe the people who have used it before, all of us say it's the worst choice ever. Go get a loan with 40% interest rate on your credit card is better than them.
They are liars and with ridiculous interests that they never tell you until they charge you and it is the worst in customer service, they just want to take your money.
I've had this card since 2015, pay on time, and make extra payments toward principal. The one time I forget to make a payment, they put a hold on the card and refuse to release the hold.l--This is for a $30 payment that was 8 days late. I was at checkout trying to buy $32 of health items and neither the csr rep or their supervisor cared, so I told them to schedule a payoff and close the card next week. They don't care, so I refuse to give them any more business.
What a scam of a company! With the interest charges AND card security fees, you can NEVER get ahead! What a nightmare! An absolute nightmare! I recently took my cat to a vet and the vet cost was $100, but then I was also charged $100 in interest!?!?!?!? It's insane how much money they take from you. They take more than you pay for the vet bills, in total. Don't ever!
They give you a promotional period of 0% interest, sounds great. However if you don't keep that date in mind you'll be charged all the back log interest, they don't send separate notices that this is about to occur, instead they put in tiny writing on your monthly that your promotional period will be ending soon. And if you're like me and don't rely on your statements to pay, you instead just log into the app each month or even Have it on auto pay then you're screwed. Thanks a bunch card credit, for being so sneaky and sleezy.
