They say that the promotion is without interest but always when you are going to make the pay-off they invent a higher amount which is the interest. They don't know where that amount comes from and they tell you sorry man, I'm not authorized to remove the amount, I can only take the payment from you. This happened every payment I made. On April I let my balance on 0. Now I have $85 bill. I have 2 hours, on the phone nobody can tell me why I have $85 balance. Managers don't take the phone. On April was 3h, in the phone because nobody wants to deal with you. They just want you to get tired waiting in line and hang-up the phone.
Every time I go to make a payment online my username and password do not work. I do not have trouble with any other accounts I have. WHY? This is how they get late payments and finance charges billed. WORST CREDIT CARE EVER! Never can talk to a person, then when I do, they sound like a ROBOT! And hang up on me! STAY AWAY! Going to take out a personal loan to pay off this terrible credit card company
Card statement and advertising is false, you can not pay all providers online using your card online. Do not use unless you wade through the site to see if your provider is listed. Emergency appendectomy at 2am, customer service told me nothing we can do i should of gone onto site. RIPOFF can't pay provider using useless card.
They gave me a card paid it for 3 yrs get credit review upgraded to $5,000 for 2 puppies and 3 months after they gave me more credit they canceled me saying my credit was to bad to have their card. I don't have any credit cards except their card credit card. These ppl are the worst please beg on corner they have more compassion for you than this company.
If you dont keep a balance on the card they cancel you. Had this card for a year. Paid it off every time I used it. Jist paid it off again in August but havent used it since. They arent in the business of providing healthcare focused financing options they're in the business of issuing you a card and hoping to make money off your misfortune of needing it and not being able to pay it off in full each time.
If you are thinking about using CareCredit for dental work, explore every other possible option in the world first. Including a loan shark- they would be easier to work with. CareCredit has absolutely no idea how to accurately deduct payments, or ever, ever, ever let you talk to a human. I was actually hung up on 2x by a automated message. For the 3rd month in a row, I recieved a message that my payment had posted, only to get an automated call the next day saying I was late. You cannot get by the automated message with asking to speak to a representative- the machine must know why, and if it does not like your answer, it hangs up. Completely frustrating!@!@!
I was offered CareCredit during a dental implant procedure by the clinic and when asked for the terms they said it was no interest if paid for 12 month terms. I was approved without hesitation and charge a great deal of my procedure to this credit. I then called customer service because this offer sounded suspicious and found out that if for any chance you did not paid the full amount loaned at the end of the 12 months you will be responsible not for the balance owe but the entire loan 12 months interest. I would rather just stick to my regular credit card since the interest is similar and know I would be responsible only for the remainding balance. Don't be sucked into this deal, if you have any chance of dissafirm do it now! These lending practices are geared towards the vulnerable and naïve.
Synchrony Bank has Amazon billing. I couldn't pay my bill on line anymore. A representative talked with me and we discovered Synchrony didn't have the correct last four digits of my Social Security number. Then they asked me to send them a copy of my SSN card and driver's license. I refused. I told them they had the correct number on another Synchrony Bank card for another company's billing system they've taken over. And my Amazon bill got higher. I hate this bank and wish they'd be investigated. Headquarters in Florida and outposts in other parts of the country. I had cards with TJMaxx, Woman Within, and several others that this bank has taken over. I'm really upset about their takeover of other cards.
Care credit is terrible they will approve for credit but one you begin to pay off the loan the decrease the amount they originally gave you that lowers your credit score after you pay off your debt they cancel you all together and give you another bad mRk on your credit I would avoid them at all costs
Had over 10 yrs, when care credit started for medical a/! 6000 credit amount. Used many times & thousands $ paid to care credit. Hadn't used for a little while & just tried to pay a medical procedure w/card that is still good & found out card was shut
Off 3 months prior, not used enough was told. The young people (3 at care credit) would not reinstate & was told to reapply.
I reapplied & was denied? The care credit young people couldn't state why only that I'll rec ltr in mail. You shoved out a great customer, care credit, & you are losing out on thousands of $. Thank you for treating a loyal & very good customer this way.
I used the 0% interest promotional offer for the $1,500 deductible that I needed for my BA. And used the 14% interest for 24 months to pay the rest. I wanted to pay off the $1,500 In like 3 months that was the plan. But unfortunately they bundled both and have me a fixed interest rate because they assumed that I wanted to pay 7k in 7 years hence they get their interest. I suggest get 0% interest for one year instead of what I did. Pay it off fast! Or else you will be stuck!
I submitted my information and received an error on the Website; however, CareCredit still created the account for me.
I now have two accounts, one for my wife's (she created her own after I told her it wasn't working for me) and an account for me. Obviously had the website not failed then we wouldn't have submitted two applications. I called and tried to get them to remove the secondary account and notify the credit bureaus and they refused.
Stay away from CareCredit!
When I purchased my hearing aids my card had a hold due to the balance, a balance far below my max balance. I had to go to a website to verify myself by taking a 5 second video of myself and a photo of the front and back of my driver license. Then call them back with a code. After a two hour ordeal trying to check out, my card was taken off hold. The real kicker came when I returned my hearing aids and tried the card for the full credit. I had to go through the entire verification again and spend another two hours before the card worked.
Now when I check my balance it is not reflecting the credit. The service rep said it will take two weeks. WTF?
I'm calling my states Attorney General to rid these jokers from my state.
A scam with a capital S.
The prequalify process will say you are qualified for credit and to proceed with the process. After entering your personal information and ID, you are directed to call a customer service representative where they tell you After applying a hard credit pull and making your credit score decrease that you are declined. This is a misleading credit agency and if they lie in the beginning before you are even a customer what will they lie about when you become a customer.
I have had this card for 9 years. I got it when I had to have surgery and had to come out of pocket $11,000. It was great for that. Made my monthly payments every month and in June 2018, I was able to pay it off completely. Since then, it has been at a zero balance and I have kept it to help my credit score. Just noticed that they dropped my credit limit down to $6,000. I called to ask why since my credit score hasn't gone down and there weren't any missed payments. They said it was because I hadn't used it. So let me get this right. I am a long time customer with on time payments and a zero balance for over a year and you decrease my credit limit? I guess they only want customers that are constantly charging and owing interest. This is bad business and I will never do business with them again.
When my account with CareCredit was setup a year ago I was told it would be no interest. The lady that set it up on the phone gave me the amount and set it up for auto pay from our bank. Yesterday I found out it wasn't paid in full by the end of the year and had to pay interest on the full year. I will never use CareCredit again

During the COVID-19, The banks arent as efficient.my payment failed to go thru. Instead of contacting me and giving me a chance to make it right. They closed my account and put a black mark against my credit
I signed up for CareCredit for an implant surgery. My surgery was in 2 weeks. I get an email notification and approval right away stating that I can use my card ASAP with the given information. I get an email from Synchrony bank stating that they need to verify my account, and I need to send them a copy of my license and lease agreement ASAP. I expedite it via NEXT DAY AIR. I call to follow up and they said it's going to take 30 days to verify my account. This was after being hung up on twice in a row, not for being rude, but literally while the rep is talking to me, they hung up on me. How are you going to email me stating that I can use my card, then tell me over the phone to expedite my documents so that they can approve me ASAP, and once I expedite my documents, they tell me it will take 30 days to review my information. Makes no sense and it's very frustrating.
Ive been with Care Credit for about a year now and have put two promotional purchases on my account. My first was 1,200, which they gave me 6 months to pay off INTEREST FREE. Before agreeing, I did the math to make sure I could comfortably afford the monthly payments. I paid it off in time, no mystery charges, used the app to track my payments, NO PROBLEMS! I was shook! They even doubled my credit limit which in turn boosted my credit score. After reading all the negative reviews I was nervous about using it again, but I really wanted to start Invisalign. The Invisalign promo purchase was 5,000, which they gave me a year to pay off interest free. AGAIN I budgeted before signing. This time I pre-set my payments on there website to take money from my account every paycheck. WORKS PERFECTLY! Now I've never dealt with their customer service or missed any payments but what I know is they do what they promise. I've borrowed around 6,000 and havent paid a dime of interest. I'm still amazed!
I paid my account ON TIME and never had a late fee or anything. Get a letter stating that they canceled my card because of non payment! I have ALL the confirmations and emails but they refuse to open it back up but they said to reapply. I di and was denied because they canceled my card! Also, one lady hing up on me when I asked why my card was canceled.
