Your website is one money hungry site. Everything I try to do I'm prompted to send you more money! OMG I'm so tempted to report this to the FTC and BBB. Any extemporaneous charges to my credit card will be contested. I understand you have to run a business and make money but for Christ sake you're really ripping people off.

The website has lots of little glitches that happen. For example I just clicked send a message for a care-giver and instead it went to my account page and poped up this feedback request.

Other buttons on the site have not worked for me.

I really dislike how the website funnels you into a search, only to have you register and then pay - feels scammy. If I didn't have freinds use the platform I would have avoided it just based on that.

Needs to be more clear on pricing.

Needs the ability to not auto-renew subscriptions.

Rude customer service

Signed up to care.com last month. Paid the premium amount in order to contact a nanny of interest. I didn't realise that it was a subscription and was charged yesterday so immediately contacted them to ask to get my money back as I no longer have any use for the website. They refused to refund me saying that they do not offer any refunds under any circumstances and that they aren't able to. Reading their terms and conditions, there is a clause which says
"To the extent permitted by law, Care.com does not provide refunds for purchase cancellations. However, Care.com may in its sole discretion issue refunds or credits when it believes they are warranted."
Instead, they just kept telling me that I have use of the service until 21/03 and this will help me find what I am after. I have expressed that I have no need for the site anymore, however, they will not back down. In addition to this, I used the chat function online and the staff member ended the chat abruptly after I pleaded with him to refund my money and said that there was nothing else he could do and he would have someone contact me. Such a rude person!

The $240/year charge is just sort of snuck in there, you need to state that up front. I don't have a clue what I just paid for and I won't pay it again. I simply want to hire a caregiver for my sister, make it easy for me to do that.

Hi Keith, We are a paid subscription service and not a free service. I'm sorry if you thought otherwise and therefore felt mislead. That was never our intention. Many sites like ours charge a fee in order to be able to offer you the features our site offers. Otherwise we'd just be like any other free classified site with very little to offer.
