This absolutely the worst company. Trying to get a supervisor is impossible. When you have a problem. You are given the usual nonsense about we will get back to you. But they never do. I had an account on there and with that account you were able to apply for jobs AND apply for people to pet sit for you. I finally stopped using them as everyone always picked the top sitters. So I couldnt get a job. Years later. I had a need for a pet sitter for me. I went to log into my account and right away was told I had to hacve a background check done. I couldnt get into my account unless I paid 19 dollars. So I did. Finally when I got in. I found out I couldnt get a pet sitter now. I had to have a separate account. And on an account where you need a sitter you dont have to have a background check. And I had to pay that money just to find out I had the wrong account. I told them they need to give me my money back. The usual we will get back to you. 3 months and several emails to them asking for response and then getting the usual. We will get back to you soon. This place is totally useless. Extremely poor customer service but they are more than happy to take your money. Dont use them. You will get endless grief..

Took 8 Months

It took 8 months to find someone to clean our home on Care. I would give up, very frustrated, and after a while, go back and try again. We finally met Irma Martinez and she is great. We are very happy with her and give her "5 Stars". To Care, being honest, we only give "1 Star".

I tried to use your service, the charge was approx $58, I thought it was a one time charge, not so.
I cancelled my membership 12/2023, I was assured it was cancelled only to find they've been charging me now up to 08/2024, I called my credit card company and blocked them, It's a disgrace how they steal your money in a sneaky way!I hope you choke on the money you robbed from me! Shame on you Care.com!

1st Care Cleaning Service

After careful review and thorough walk through, many things were not done.

The conversation was too much to paste here, however, please note:

Good morning Donna.
Texting will be the avenue of communication to assure no more misunderstandings. This person tried playing mind games…WOW!

1. I clearly stated and it's obvious, that Recurring services depended on the initial deep cleaning. With your help, you said the task will not be a problem. I took you at your word. In the process, the hallway bathroom soap dispenser is missing. I really depend on that hand soap.
2. Pay is available through the care website, why did you insist on Zelle Pay? In this case, I'm requesting the money sent back the same way you received it and I will complete your official payment via the website and get a proper receipt.

3. Moving forward, recurring services can commence upon the completion of the above statement #2.

1. That screenshot NEVER existed until now and we both talked extensively about how I would be paid via Zelle, Venmo, Cash App when you initially informed me that your boss Mr. Jay only paid checks and I politely explained that was unacceptable on a short term house cleaning job! I've NEVER been paid through the website Care.com because of all the fees they charge.

2. I asked you before I left to check and make sure everything was acceptable because as I explained yesterday it's common to sometimes overlook minor things especially when faced with such a huge situation! It took 2 people 3 hours to clean a small very neglected one bedroom 2 bathrooms apartment and you yourself had told me ahead of time that the job was going to be a lot and it definitely was! But to be accused of a bathroom soap dispenser? Wow! I buy mines from Bath & Body Works and I promise you I can treat you to one or more! I've worked for millionaires and never had these issues!

Initially it seemed:
Donna did a great job with the entire condo as requested. We really appreciate her thoroughness. And her good advice about how to prevent microwave splatters.
Written receipt would have been great after service. Or does Care send a receipt? Since this is my 1st time utilizing Care, Inc.

NO SHOW! NO ONE CAME to help. For GOOD reason!I I asked for help for Sat 8/3/2024 and instead you gave me someone for Monday 8/5/2004 so I cancelled the help for that date!

Just what we were looking for

Kathleen saw the notice and replied second to it. The first respondent was already spoken for. Kathleen responded second and matched all our requirements. When she visited on Thursday, she took control of the situation and put our minds to rest. Unlike other care givers, which we really appreciated, she didn't spend her time looking at her phone,or changing the channels on the TV to suit her own taste, but let mom watch her favorite channels. She was always mindful of her duties and what care was necessary and when.

Diana was a very pleasant young lady. But she. Canceled her appointment several times. We are 79 years old and both have physical problems. Prior to three times we attempted to get the house organized. For the arrival of our new housekeeper, with out success. My wife was very disappointed and felt foolish for believing in Dianna and her false verbal promises.
