Hello Jeremy, We are a paid subscription service and not a free service. I'm sorry if you thought otherwise and therefore felt mislead. That was never our intention. Many sites like ours charge a fee in order to be able to offer you the features our site offers. Otherwise we'd just be like any other free classified site with very little to offer.

Caregivers need to update their profiles. So many ghosted profiles, so many people who lie on their profile saying they are available from X to Y time but in reality they aren't available. They just want to get more potential families inviting them.

It was not clear during signup that I needed to submit my legal name. I used my nickname, then I couldn't use the app to fix it. I had to get a computer out.

Then I noticed the default privacy settings allowed care.com to give my e-mail to third party companies for their marketing stuff. That made me incredibly upset.

You have a pretty money-hungry system here asking for monthly fees and then adding more to do any vetting, outside of the fees of the services. It feels as if you are fleecing the system. We are willing to try because we have not seen other options. However, we will likely only briefly use your services due to the prohibitive cost.

I do not like that the website made me create a job posting without telling me that was what I was doing, then made me pay to see the applications. It's misleading and sneaky. Your search filters are also terrible. You should be able to filter by actually useful information, like whether or not the nanny is even listed as available.
