I admit it. I was one of those who read all the reviews on here (last night) and thought, 'Oh, that won't happen to me. Their website says they have a 4/5 star rating. I'll be the exception. Well, after I signed up for an account minutes later and bought $100 gc for Dik's Sports I wake up to an email this morning from my bank cancelling my card saying it has been compromised (haven't bought anything else lately) and then to add insult to injury get the often discussed email saying the 'risk assessment team' cancelled my order. THIS. WEBSITE. IS. JUST. A. SCAM. PERIOD! STAY SO FAR AWAY YOU CAN'T EVEN POKE IT WITH A STICK. There's too many other sites out there and the nominal (or better) discount is def not worth the risk. Trust me. I found out the hard way even though I thought I was 'the exception.':-/
I sold them my gift cards in exchange for and Amazon card. It has been over 1 month and I have not received payment. I have contacted 14 times.
I sold them several gift cards on November 27th 2019. I was given to expect that payment would be received within 3 business days. It has now been over 1 month. I have called and emailed over 14 times. Emails were met with auto responses saying someone would get back to me. They did not. Calls and several voicemails were largely ignored. 2 times someone did pick up the phone and stated that my issue would be "escalated." No one followed up with me after those calls. I believe that this company has stolen the money on the gift cards I sold them and are evading me.
I used them for years and recommended them to my friends and family. A month ago I purchased a card and it seemed to have no balance. I sent multiple emails to see if they could check the balance and never got anything but the automated reply. I was not 100% that the card wasn't used by us, but the info they gave made it impossible to check the balance. No customer service at all.
I took a Best Buy gift card with $340 and it offered me a $180 cash.

I purchased a gift card from cardpool around Christmas. I experienced embarrassment when I attempted to use my card at the location I purchased from. I was told my card was "deactivated." It left me wondering if this was a stolen card purchased by them and resold to me. I contacted them and told them what my issue was. I had over $94.00 left on my card, but was only refunded $70.00 by them. I felt like a victim after the slap in the face and only getting some of my money back. I re contacted them and explained how I believed it was unfair, but haven't heard back. I'm being ignored now. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They do not refund your full amount and blow you off when you have a problem.
Recently placed my first order with them and after 3 days of getting nothing, I emailed them about it. The response was that the order basically couldn't go through and a refund had been issued. So being my first order placed with them not being fulfilled, I will say that It is also my last order with them.

I was a little nervous to work with them because of all the reviews on this site, but went ahead and sold my $50 gift card to them last night to try and help out with some last minute Christmas expenses on Amazon. Just woke up and had my Amazon gift card code in my email and was just able to apply it to my Amazon account. So glad I tried it! FYI, my gift card had NEVER been used, so that may be the reason why they reject some gift cards(if they have previous transactions on them they may not want to resell them). I just purchased $400 worth of certificates and have not received the ecodes like promised. I followed all the instructions, but have not received a response from customer service or the ecodes as promised. This is not okay. I'll update this if they actually address this problem.
Sent 3 $25 gift cards. And got a check for $57.50... pretty painless. BUT the problem came after I tried to deposit this check into my bank account... my bank refused it... told me to call Certegy Check Services... called them and they said, they could not give my bank a good rating for this check, because Certegy Check Services had no information about Cardpool. Same for Telechex. I tried going to check cashing places and Wal Mart... no good, rejected. My state is a handful of states that do not have a Well Fargo branch (for which the check is drawn from)... so Im left with a worthless check.
Beware of Cardpool checks... banks and check cashing places do not accept them!
I turned in 3 Nordstrom gift cards and was promised an Amazon gift card within 1 business day. I never recieved it. I've called and emailed them and they won't respond. The phone they have just goes to voicemail. Ive left several along with emails. They have how ever used the cards I sent.
This company confirmed my transaction made me wait five days never sent a payout and then when I messaged them about my payout canceled my transaction without any explanation complete waste of time I wouldn't recommend selling ur gift cards to this company.
I have bought a gift card 400,400,200,100, but two 400 gift card was 0. When I checked that company that gift card belongs, they said, it was used way before I bought them from cardpool. I requested cardpool but they did not respond at all. They are not trustful at all and no customer service. Don 't buy any thing from them, even after they sold gift card and I don't use it for a while, they keep the number and sell them to different customer. That happened to me many times. Don't even go on their web.

So I contacted the gift card company who told me the cards were invalid because they were purchased fraudulently (I assume by a user who posted them to cardpool). Never heard back from cardpool.
WARNING do not sell gift cards on this site! They lie and tell everyone the process takes1-3 business days but actually it takes much longer. I received an email after waiting 3 days for a response, saying that the process takes 2-3 weeks to receive the check! I asked for a refund for the gift card and was told they sold it already. I bought a card that was supposed to have $100 balance on it. I bought it for $88. I went to try to use it and it has $73 on it! I have tried in every way to contact cardpool and they don't respond! I have emailed on multiple occasions and managed to dig up a phone number for them on google and called but all you get is a voicemail that they never return! Very unhappy and feel this will not get resolved because they don't have a customer service!
I ordered a gift card on 12/10 for chirstimas. I get a order confirmation letting me know that it's going to be 3-7 business day plus 1 extra day for processing. I inqured about my order on 12/21 and customer service got back to me letting me know that they were going to look into it.
