Scammed me out of $1,000
September 24, 2019

I sent them the information for my gift cards and never received payment. They do not pick up their main phone number and they do not answer their email. I finally got a response from their facebook page and they gave ne this number *******694. They didnt not answer the first 5 calls and then they finally answered and said Dominos Pizza, what can i get started for you. I called again and they answered Carpool. But it was the same person and number.

I sold them a gift card for Harley-Davidson and then they sent me an e-mail they couldn't complete the transaction after they had my card and they kept it. They would not return my property to me they are thieves.

Awesome experience

I sold two Starbucks giftcards to Cardpool in exchange for Amazon giftcards. I made the transaction on the 15th, and they promptly sent me the codes on the 18th. Super fast deliver (at least for ecodes) and responsive customer service. Would recommend to people. I have never bought from them, but I have been extremely pleased with my selling experience so far.

I had a Tiffany's gift card and I couldn't find anything that I needed. Cardpool had the best exchange rate for my card. I signed up, mailed it on the same day and on the 4th day, I got my Amazon credit. I will use this service again.

Ordered my cards Sunday about 10:30am. Was called by a Cardpool agent to verify my identity as this was my "first time using their company". I agreed, and verified my information. I then got an email saying I would have the e-gift cards in my inbox within 24 hours (that would be about 4:30pm Monday afternoon). Alas, I checked my email last night around 10pm and the cards were not there. Called Cardpool today and was unable to reach anyone. I promptly called American Express, filed a complaint and am fighting the charge as I have not received the product ordered in the time promised. If they ever send the e-gift cards, I plan to promptly delete the email. I would never use this company again. This is why I usually just pay full price, it's not worth all of the hassle to save $10.

Stay away from this crummy company - Cardpool.com. It was bought out by Blackhawk Network - the worst company in the gift card business. Their corporate number is Phone: *******990 but it's completely useless, they don't care about customer service issues. Cardpool itself is a total scam, they don't have a physical office, their calls are routed to disposable cell phones, and they only have 2 employees - Anson Tsai (the owner - cell *******147) and Jeff (order support - cell *******811). The whole operation is linked to a PO box but all the action is happening at the owner's condo at 660 King St #223. They will lie to you, hang up on you and even block your number so you can't call them. Read the reviews online, they've stolen thousands of dollars from customers' gift cards, going so far as blaming the post office, when the post office has provided video footage showing them taking possession of undamaged envelopes. You've been warned! DO NOT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS!

I sold some gift cards to Cardpool and they called to verify some information 3 days later. I verified it, and still no email. Then I called back and they emailed me and said I needed to call and verify information again. More than 24 hours later and still no email. So I called back and they said my information was lost and I would have to reverify. I did, and was told that I would receive the gift card email within 24 hours (again). Still waiting.

Shouldn't be in business

They canceled two orders of mine ("risk management blah blah blah"), no explanation. Audacity to send me a survey on their "non" customer serice/how their on-line support was, automated reply stating they couldn't answer w/o order # (I DID). Called twice and even tho they state they will return calls, they do NOT. Awful company to deal with. I would rather pay full price for a g. C. and not go thru this AGGRAVATION.

I was preparing to sell a Best Buy card to these guys - to the company, not to a customer. I was very concerned that I was unable to get questions answered. Tried several phone calls. Never got to a person when I called and never got a return phone call. Tried several emails. Never got a response from a person. I'm EXTREMELY happy that I found all these negative reviews. I would have been REALLY displeased if I'd gone through with the sale. MAJOR thanks to all of you who made clear - without doubt - that this company is a scam, a fraud, a total disaster.

I used to LOVE cardpool - always received my check within 1-2 days of email acknowledgment! Now that Blackhawk (Safeway) bought them out - I am STILL waiting for my check - 6 days after receiving confirmation that they mailed the check. - Cardpool was in San Francisco, Blackhawk is in Walnut Creek - does not take 5 days for the mail to deliver from either location to Sonoma County. Will definitely sign off on cardpool (after many great experiences) and begin using another gift card redemption site. I hope Blackhawk/Safeway is enjoying the interest they are earning on my money

Sold 2 out of 3 gifts cards: 1x Shell gift card and 2x AMC Theater cards. They needed the Shell gift card to be sent in. I sent it Monday (10/2/17) and got a response by Thursday (10/5/17) that they were unable to check the balance of the Shell card and would be sending it back. However, the 2x AMC Theater cards went through without a problem and I received an email with an Amazon gift card code shortly after the first email (also claimed without a problem).
For reference, I only live 25 miles from their mailing address, so I expected a bit of a quicker response, but either way, I was at least able to sell 2/3 cards. My only gripe is that they didn't explain why they had a hard time checking the balance of the Shell card. I had no problem checking it via buyshellgiftcards.com. Oh well.

I had already confirmed my email address earlier. After I bought the gift card, Cardpool had the nerve to send me another email telling me to verify my identity before it gives me my money, wasting more time. I clicked on the link, put in my correct password, and their stupid website said "invalid capcha". THERE WAS NO CAPCHA! I even used a different browser just in case and it still didn't work! I then reset my password just to log on to my account, hoping to get my gift card info straight from my account. I did log on, my account only shows "purchased"--but still no gift card info! What is the point of running me in circles and still don't give me the money that I paid for?! SCAMMERS!

Terrible customer service! You think you are getting a gift card, you can an electronic code. They tell you that you have to verify your order, then the link doesn't work. Then you get an email telling you that your card has shipped. Then you get an email saying here's your electronic card. This site has no idea what they are doing. They are so messed up. Then customer service doesn't want to fix your problem, they just want to argue with you. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. STAY AWAY!

Wish I had found this site before I used Cardpool. I sold them 4 gift cards. One of them was required to be sent by msil, which I did, and they did send me an Amazon recemption code for that one. The other 3 were sent digitally and I was supposed to receive an Amazon gift card by mail within 1-3 days. It's been about 6 weeks and I've received nothing. I have contacted *******@cardpool.com multiple times and noone responds or gets back to me. I have sent emails and noone responds. I tried calling and leaving message and noone responded. I assume they have stolen the value of these cards now and I'll never get paid. I filed with the Texas BBB. If I need to file with Attorney General or other, I will do so.

I mainly buy ecodes from them and only when I am going to buy something. Sometimes you get the ecode almost instantly, sometimes you get them the next day. If they can work on that I'd be more content.

Can't even begin to express my level of anger and frustration with this company. I sent in 3 Shell Gas Cards (2 x $100,1 x $25). I received an email stating that they could not verify the amount on my cards and therefore were sending them back to me. I received the cards back. LESS THE $25.00 CARD!

Furthermore, all you have to do is go onto the website on the back of the gas card www.rpggiftcards.com/checkbalance. And any idiot can see the current balance on the cards. I just did it for both of the cards returned to me and low and behold, both $100.00 cards show a $100.00 balance remaining.

Cardpool is a scam... they suck!

It's not about the money... it's the principle.

I recieved my check in the mail within a week. I was scared because after i sent all the information, i decided to look at reviews after and me and my husband were scared to think we got scammed. But to my surprise it actually came in the mail (Thank God). I was pleased with this website, thankful I wasnt the one with the same bad reviews that people experienced with.

F*** these shady pieces of s***! I received a Best Buy e-gift card as a gift, tried to sell it to Cardpool. Cardpool then said that they had "an issue" with the code I gave them, so they couldn't buy the card from me. I thought oh well; at least I can still use the card at Best Buy. And guess what? When I went to Best Buy to try to use it; they told me there was no balance on it, and that the code had already been used. Long story short, Cardpool STOLE MY GIFT CARD. DO NOT TRUST THIS P. O. S. COMPANY. Only giving 1 star because 0 isn't an option.

Cardpool "bought" my gift card ONE month ago and the funds are no longer on the gift card. I was supposed to get an amazon gift card via email within 24 hours it has now been ONE MONTH and nothing. I have emailed several times and they keep saying they'd look into it now they won't even respond to me!
