I sold a $300 Amozon giftcard to cardpool, after a week of waiting patiently, I sent an email to customer support, they replied saying, payment will be processed shortly, after this they stopped replying my emails. I never received payment for my gift card. I was gifted a $250 Bestbuy giftcard during the summer, I needed to exchange for cash, a friend of mine Karen told me how she exchanges gift cards for cash from a group of giftcard merchants online and got paid everytime, I had doubts, but decided to give it a try. I sold my $250 Bestbuy giftcard, and after 4 days, I got $215 sent to me via PayPal.
I decided to write this review because Sleektradings is legit & I don't want others to lose their giftcards to cardpool.
If you want to sell your giftcards.
Visit sleektradings.co.uk or send an email to *******@outlook.com.
I ordered a card online and was promised a card within 24 hours. I never got the card or my almost $48 that I spent on the card. I called, emailed and everything in the book. Still no reply. My next step is to get a lawyer and put a stop to all this nonsense.
I only listed one card to test it out and now I am learning that I should have read reviews about how shady this site actually is. Sold a $50 gift card in June, never received payment, emailed July18-nothing came of it, emailed July 30- again nothing, emailed this morning and and finally got a reply this afternoon that the buyer received the card with a 0 balance. Which is BS the card was brand new and they check the cards before they list them, which says someone from the site is stealing the card numbers and pins and using them or selling them somewhere else and getting the profit from them... Very Very shady site... Avoid at all cost and save yourself the frustration and headache of having to deal with them.
I sold gift cards on cardpool.com and was extremely disappointed in the process. I was instructed to send the gift cards taped together in a regular business envelope with the mailing label attached. I was very weary of these instructions as business envelopes do not seem to be the most secure. Additionally, the post office also pointed this out. After double checking the instructions, I sent the gift cards. It wasn't until after I followed up with the company that I received pictures of the envelope I had sent showing that someone had cut open the envelope and stolen the gift cards. Knowing that you deal exclusively in gift cards - how do you not have a better process in place to prevent situations like this from happening. I have reached out to customer service and will update this review based on what I hear back however, in general the way this company conducts business does not appear competent.
Sold a $25 PaPa Johns gift card to this loser company 01/06/2019. As of April 6th, 2019 have yet to receive the Amazon gift card they promised me. I have e-mailed 5 times over the past few months and always get an automated response saying they will get back to me in a few days but they don't. Notified the BBB who attempted to contact the company but were unsuccessful. They probably honor a few transactions to keep the sham going but they are flat out stealing from people. I don't buy the back log story from a change of ownership at this point either. CardPool knows perfectly well that are playing a con game which is why they won't respond to to the BBB or the customers whom they've scammed.
If I could have, I would have given them a 0. I sent two gift cards, and I never heard from them. I e-mailed them, and then they said they had received them. This was month after I had sent them. Then 3 weeks later I have to e-mail them again to see when my gift card would be coming to me for the two gift cards I sent them, and only then did they tell me they had cancelled my transaction because it was a high risk. The e-mail then went on to tell me that they would not give me any other information and were going to send the original gifts cards I sent them back to me. They are dishonest and their customer service is beyond terrible.
I have used cardpool many times and they are really awesome! I have saved a lot of money buying gift cards and I have also had a few problems where the scoundrel who sold their gift cards had also used them after selling them to cardpool. They are the scoundrels, not cardpool. I am extremely satisfied with cardpool. They do guarantee their cards for a year and they are trustworthy.
I just want to say reading some of those reviews had me super worried. But I took it upon myself and I sold my Apple card to Cardpool. I had my amazon code within 24 hrs. I already had my items in my cart at Amazon. So as soon as they sent me my codes. I went and used them in my cart. They worked immediately with noooo problems. I will use them again. Thanks Cardpool. And to Bruce the rep that called and verified my card.
They marketed codes as being able to be used physically in the store and I was not able to use them in the store. My mother, the recipient of the codes, does not know how to (or want to) shop online so the purchased codes were useless!
I purchased a $140 gift card on 3/31/19. When I went to use it, I was told that there was a zero balance. Looking into the history of the gift card, I saw that the $140 was used on 3/26/19, several days BEFORE they sold me the gift card. There is no way to reach a live person on the phone. It's been two weeks of leaving multiple emails and voicemails and not a single response. Avoid this business!
I have used them numerous times and they have always delivered on-time and in the proper amount. They are fairly quick with delivering e-gift cards and overall I don't have any complaints about using them to buy e-gift cards.
I was selling my best buy gift card which had almost $100 on it. So after I put it on my listing for a couple of days I decided to use it and I canceled my order. But then when I checked the balance it had no money on it! I am mad and I'm never going to go to them ever again and I hope you don't aswell.
I ordered JCPenney E-giftcard via Cardpool on 07/14/14. Right after I completed the order online, the confirmation email came in and stated the E-gift card will be emailed to me within 1 business day. However after 1 day there is nothing emailed me, so I sent an inquiry email. They respond back saying I should follow email direction to take action to verify the order. I forward them the order confirmation email I got which there in nothing there asking or directing for verify my order. Then they said they will let someone to call me to verify the order, but no one calls.
I sent complain email asking for get this resovled asap within 1 day, otherwise I have to call credit card report the fraud. Still no one contact me after my two emails inquiry. Today I will have to call credit card company reporting the fraud.
I was really hesitant to send in my 3 cards (1 REI card, 2 Red Robin cards), but the company seemed reliable. I mailed in the cards, got an email confirmation when they were received and received another confirmation when the cards were shipped out. The whole process from mailed cards to check recived took about 7 - 10 days. Will use 'em again!
I bought a electronic gift card and tried to use it at costco and costco stated it was a scam and they do not do electronic cards. I tried to get Cardpool to response but they have not and their customer service is terrible. I would not buy anything from them.
I recently sold 2 target gift cards and I was impress on how fast the card was sold and I was able to get the pay check from Card pool within a Week. This is the first time I am using Cardpool and I am totally satisfy with the follow up from their process reminder through email. I don't see any problems as those negative comments.
Use at your own risk. If you can do a direct exchange for an eGift card, this site is actually very useful, if you try and mail something to them, I have heard some horror stories. Only use this site as a last resort, and if you are OK with receiving an egift card.
I had 3 different Kohl's gift cards, I sold them on Tuesday Nov 28th the next morning I got an email stating my check is in the mail. I didn't expect much seeing they say it can be up to 3 weeks. Today is Saturday Dec 2nd and my check was in my mailbox. 5 days from start to finish and I got 78% of my money back
I sold a gift card to them a month ago and have not received my amazon gift card. I have written their "support" email over 8 times and have never received a response. Starting to think this isn't even a legit operation. Do NOT trust this company.
Contracted with them to sell a $100 Fleming's Steakhouse gift card for $73 amazon credit. Wasted my time sending the card to them, then told they "weren't able to accept the transaction at this time". Now they are sending back to me - what a waste. There is nothing wrong with the card, will just have to sell elsewhere.
Answer: They cheated me out of 75 dollars in gift cards they need to pay up
Answer: DON'T DO IT! You're just rolling the dice with this company, if there is a problem, you ave no recourse.
Answer: Hi Justin I would not use there service they scammed me out of a 400 Home Depot gift card then the block your account ignore emails and leave you with nothing I hope you look to another service it will save you headaches
The company's reputation is significantly marred by customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with gift cards that arrive with zero balances and a lack of effective customer support. Many customers report difficulties in reaching the company, citing unresponsive email communication and nonexistent phone support. While a few positive experiences exist, they are overshadowed by consistent complaints regarding service delays, unfulfilled orders, and perceived fraudulent practices. Overall, the sentiment indicates a widespread lack of trust and reliability, suggesting that potential customers should exercise caution when considering this service.
