I bought electronic gift cards and I have 3 cards that don't work. I emailed their customer support multiple times and called multiple times with zero response from this company. This is horrible since I don't have that much money and I bought those cards to save some money. Is this a company scam.
I sent in $1,000 worth of gift cards 3 weeks ago and I still have not received a check from them. They said they have not received yet the cards yet. I have never heard of 3 weeks to deliver a envelope. I would never sell to them again and I am hoping I see my money soon. If you do choose to sell to them them, make sure you do not use there label, spend the extra money to track your package.
I have used their service before a few times a while back and the process always went smooth.
I started using CardCash - but had problems with them as well. I went to try CardPool again and sold three gift cards to them. They were going to pay me roughly $1,500. I submitted two of them in by mail and one digitally per their request.
60+ days later and I have not heard anything. I have emailed them numerous times, as well as tried calling their old customer support phone number. No response.
I have no way of getting the gift cards back and no way of getting paid for the gift cards. They scammed me $2,500 face value gift cards.
This company was quick to take my money, but then shipped the card to te wrong state. They don't offer a customer service number, so after I emailed them 4 times when my card didn't arrive after the 3-7 BD quoted, they said even though it was shipped to the wrong state, their policy is to make a customer wait a full 3 weeks to see if it arrived. If it doesn't, I was told I'd have to contact them again, and they might refund at that time. This company is a scam! Go to giftcards.com. I normally order from them, but they didn't have the card I needed. I've never had any issues with that company. Carpool.com has no customer service skills, and couldn't possible care less about their customers. They just want to steal your money and never delivery your porduct, then you have no way to contact them, and are at their mercy to respond to your email. CLOWN ACT!
I ordered a $#*!s Sporting Goods online gift card. I got a little worried, because after I did so I saw all of these horrible reviews. I thought I am about to get scammed, but to my surprise I got the code the next day and used it the same day without any problems. I then checked my credit card to make sure it was only used once and everything was fine. I will use this site again, and continue to do so until I have a problem. I will keep you posted if anything changes with my service and or credit card.
What a scam of a business these people are running. Two times (first two and last two times) I tried buying gifts cards. Both times they took my money, issued a refund one week later saying that my purchase had been cancelled. The first time I thought that maybe it was just bad luck. I tried it again then the same thing happened. They took my money, sent a confirmation order, they they issued a cancellation informing me that they would refund my purchase money. ONE WEEK LATER! SCAMMMERS! They are probably using the money for other stuff. What a bunch of thieves.
I had 200 dollars in amazon gift cards I wanted to sell at a kiosk. The apparently bought all the Coinstar Exchange machines which did buy amazon gift cards. But since they stole all those machine they don't except them they should be put in jail.
I tried to sell a gift card to a nearby location listed on their website. The website said that I could get up to 92% of the value of the card. When I went into the location, before even seeing the type of card I had or its value, the clerk said they would only give 50% of the value.
I mailed in multiple cards to Cardpool with the label created by their site. Not only did I not receive compensation, the "transaction" has been deleted on my account on their website. STAY AWAY from these crooks!
I purchased a $300 gift card, when I downloaded I checked the value and it was good. One month later no value and I never used a penny on it. They refused to honor the guarantee. Go to raise.com, they at least honor the guarantee.
All these sites are scammers sometimes they use stolen cards etc... the best alternative is http://www.sfi4.com/*******/FREE because here you will buy your cards at auction at prices defying all competitions. Yesterday I bought an amazon card from $ 25 to $ 1.13. In addition to thegift card you will find everything you need at crazy prices and try to tell me http://www.sfi4.com/*******/FREE
One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Days and days went by even though they promised 24 hour service for delivery. I emailed them, and then they said they couldn't tell me why, but they refused to give me the promised money for my cards. I have moved out of the U.S. the cards cannot be returned to me and I have lost over $1000. Completely dishonest service.
I paid $187 for $260 worth of gift card. It was my first time and I skeptical, I've heard a few negative reviews but decided to try it out anyways. Overall I was satisfied with my purchase, recieved my card (paper card) in 7 business days. I used it for back to school shopping for my kids.
To anyone who sold gift cards to Cardpool and their payment is in review': My order was "in review" for 3 weeks. I went ahead and sold my $250 Ticketmaster gift card number with pin # to CardCash.com and got paid in 1 business day with no fee via PayPal. I called to check their customer service and got through to a friendly rep. CardCash is the real deal. CardPool smells scammy. CardCash paid $10 less but it was way worth it having that money securely and swiftly in my bank account. So if your transaction is IN REVIEW' - go ahead and submit your Card and Pin #s elsewhere - and delete your Cardpool payment info and cancel your order!
I was so disappointed in this Machine it took me several tries to get one of my cards to work got to the end and it said it would send me a verification code and it did and then put it in and then it didn't work and I kept doing it over and over and over again. The machine is not made of good quality
DO NOT USE CARDPOOL. I sent in about $135 in gift cards to be exchanged for an Amazon card. It took 12 days for my envelope to be received to their processing center in northern California and sent it from San Diego. That was when I was suspicious and emailed them. They said they had not received it. Then a few days later they emailed me saying thy received my cards and that they both had a balance of $0.00. This is impossible because I have receipts for the cards. I have reported this company to the Better Business Bureau and I will be also reporting them to San Diego News Channels so that they can broadcast a story on this scam company. Do not take the risk!
Cardpool is a JOKE! Check the BBB and they have TONS of complaints filed on them. They will fill orders here and there but have more complaints than positive for sure. I had to file a complaint with BBB and have my attorney send a letter just to get my e gift card from them. They run the business from a UPS Store rented mailbox, that should be the first clue!
Go elsewhere unless you like to gamble because the house always wins!
I gave 1 star Because I couldn't give ZERO. I waited just 36 hours. I say just because so many have waited much much longer. Should have checked the reviews prior to purchasing $80.00 in gift cards. My error. Most sites deliver electronically near instantly.
Don't use cardpool
At the end of May, I had traded in a Gamestop card for an Amazon card. Got an autoresponse with a number (*******). I gave it a week and asked for an update. Another auto reply. Non existent customer service.
I made an online purchase for a eGift card just as the clock hit 1:00AM on early Sunday morning.
It is now Tuesday and they just got around to calling me for credit card verification around 12:30 after lunch and then it'll require another business day to forward it to the business unit to issue me my card number and password.
WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! They are manually going through the steps that any average dot.com online competitive company shells out the bucks to have a SW or automated system do.
They asked me to:
1. Verify my address
2. Provide the number on the back of the card
3. Provide a cross street to my address
Meanwhile espousing that THIS is for your protection... Yeah because every time I make a purchase NO ONE has ever taken 3 days to process the order.
These guys are a dot.com shack, STAY AWAY.
NO STARS!
Answer: They cheated me out of 75 dollars in gift cards they need to pay up
Answer: DON'T DO IT! You're just rolling the dice with this company, if there is a problem, you ave no recourse.
Answer: Hi Justin I would not use there service they scammed me out of a 400 Home Depot gift card then the block your account ignore emails and leave you with nothing I hope you look to another service it will save you headaches
The company's reputation is significantly marred by customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with gift cards that arrive with zero balances and a lack of effective customer support. Many customers report difficulties in reaching the company, citing unresponsive email communication and nonexistent phone support. While a few positive experiences exist, they are overshadowed by consistent complaints regarding service delays, unfulfilled orders, and perceived fraudulent practices.
