I placed an order for a $10 Starbucks gift card slightly discounted. It told me that it can take 24 hours to receive it (electronically), which is long compared to other GC resellers who do it instantly, but I was in no rush.

Upon check out, I was asked three personal questions about where I've lived. Intrusive and absurd for simply getting a dollar discount. I answered them and thought that was that. The very next morning I get an email saying they need for verification over the phone. I was not about to provide a shred of personal information to a cheap GC reseller, so I emailed them saying that the transaction is canceled. Not more than an hour later someone replies confirming the cancelation.

I barely give out my personal information to doctors and utility companies, why would I give it to some little online company just to save $1?

Try another site. I sent in a Card that was received Dec and have yet to get my check. Out of the 7 times I have contacted them on this issue, I have only received 1 email that was not computer generated asking me to confirm the address I already gave them. They use this tactic to stall and pretend they already tried to send you the check to buy them more time. Their slow nature is a tactic to get you to opt for the Amazon credit next time you trade/sell.

I have bought over $500 of gift cards. I was then not able to use them and they will either somehow sell them off without your knowledge or you will not be able to use them the majority of them. They do not send you email alerts when the cards have been sold off without my knowledge or consent... Rip off! Do not buy any or your card and credit cards will be compromised.
Pain to deal with!

This company stole my gift cards. $125 worth of cards went missing for 15 days, and are still missing. I sold one online but never received a check. I emailed them twice and contacted BBB. The only way I received a response was spamming their Facebook wall and messenger.

If you want real action I swear this number is their main desk. (415) 419 - 8787. Bruce will answer. Tell them you dont care if its a verification desk. Demand they cancel your transaction and find your cards. I did this and got my Sephora gift card and debit card information back! This is an AWFUL company.

I've used Cardpool for a couple of years now to save money on gift cards. From that standpoint, it's been great... as long as there is no issue. However, on two occasions I have ran into issues with the business not honoring the cards.

The only support number gets you to a voicemail that no one responds to, period. The email support takes FOREVER... literally. The latest issue I called the gift card's company support and spoke to someone who informed me the card had been frozen due to suspected fraud. I sent an email to the Cardpool support that day. A week later it still has not been responded to, forcing me to dispute the charge on my card.

Bottom line: It's a great service... just hope you never need help!

They offered me money for my two gift cards and told me to send them to them in Oct 2019. I have yet to receive my cash from these cards nor have I received my cards back as they stated. If you send them an email they don't reply and if you call them the music plays acting like it is connecting you to someone then it says no one is available and hangs up on you. I have filed a better business bureau complaint which they did not reply to and now have a complaint at the Attorney Generals office. Now I am still waiting.

I listed two iTunes cards and after few days, they replayed telling me that they were unable to verify the codes. When I checked the codes it shows that the cards were redeemed. I won't recommend any one to use CardPool for anything (sell or buy).

SCAM ALERT! You call and it send you to voice mail. Really? I was charged, and 3 days later, no info regarding shipment has been sent. The e-codes should have been sent within 1 day. I've received nothing. Emails are not answered either. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! Also, stay away from cardapex.com and giftcards.com! Issues and sketchiness! I'm about to call my credit card company and report them.

I bought an e-gift card online from CardPool 2 weeks ago and it was supposed to be emailed to me within 1 business days. After a few business days I emailed CardPool Support and inquired when I might receive it. The birthday passed and I had no e-gift card to give to the birthday girl! It's been 2 weeks and they have not even responded to my email that I sent 10 days ago inquiring what had happened to the card I was supposed to get! The information they provide when you buy the gift card is apparently a lie and then they don't even respond to email inquiries. I had to make it up for the birthday girl who needed to buy something with the e-card I had told her she would get almost 2 weeks ago so I obviously want to cancel the whole CardPool transaction now but they don't even pick up the phone when I call customer service!

I sell 7 different gift card by electronic to cardpool, within same day on June 26, they send me back a email say that the check was on the way and the check was $611. Today was July 1,2011. I just check the mail box, the check still not come yet. After I see all the review, I'm scare now. Hope next week, I will receive it. I will follow up on next week.

I sent in $75 in gift cards over a month ago and today I got an email saying I that the check is in the mail. I hope it is, but honestly, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it never comes.

I was told it would take 3-5 days to receive email confirmation that they received my gift cards, but it has been 5 weeks and today's email regarding my check is the only communication I've received back. If I'd read all these reviews, I never would have sent my card in. My own fault for not doing research

I was pretty skeptical of Cardpool after reading so many negative reviews. However, almost all of the reviews from sellers were positive (and they have an A+ rating from the BBB) so I decided to send Cardpool $300+ in various gift cards last week. I put tracking on the package to keep an eye on it, and just like the website promises, I received my Amazon gift card via email the day after the cards were reported delivered. I'm very happy and I will definitely use this service again.

I never received my gift card. The 800 number only gives you the option to leave a message and they never call me back. I am out $400. I am currently working on disputing the order with my credit card company.

Completely unresponsive to multiple emails about the card that I "sold" them. I eventually submitted a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, but it didn't speed anything up. A month and a half after "selling" my card to them, they canceled the order saying there was an error with processing the card and their risk assessment team couldn't accept it. Based on the other reviews, I suspect this is complete BS, but at least I can use or sell my card to someone else now. What a terrible company to deal with.

Sent in a $25.00 gift card and was told I would be receiving a check for $18.50. I received the check to find out that after I cashed it, it bounced! I was charged $18.50 and an additional $15.00 for the bounced check. I think it'd be great for those behind this site have to reimburse all the money they are scamming out of people and seeing as fraud is not taken lightly in this country, I'd be happy to hear about those involved spending some time in the system.

I sent a $25 gift card for Toys R Us back in January. Since then I have not received any money back and have sent them 3 emails. None of my emails have been responded to and they have no contact number. DO NOT sell your gift cards to this company.

Use this company they say... they'll pay for your gift cards they say... Hasn't happened yet and I sent my $250 GIFTCARD out on the 4th of September and haven't received anything... it's been 15 days. I have emailed- no reply and I have called and left several messages (cause the call volume is too high) with still No response! This company is not a trustworthy company. DO NOT send them your gift cards USE the machine if you can! NOT HAPPY!

I traded two gift cards for a "amazon e gift card." Got a email basically saying thanks for being a sucker and giving us your cards. Email says your amazon e gift card will be emailed in 24 hours. IIt's been a week and nothing. 5 emails later, no response. All the 5 star reviews are fake that the scammers themselves likely wrote. Look at how many others got ripped off compared to their fake good reviews.

I hope to god these people are in the U.S. so i can make their lives hell over ripping me off on two gift cards. Don't fall for the nonexistent amazon gift card they promise. I hopr these scammers are killed by a drunk driver. Karma is coming cardpool... Make no mistake it's coming.

After 10 days of getting one email and not hearing from them again, I emailed and called multiple times and still could not get a straight answer from them. I kept getting told it takes 3-5 business days, but it been almost 2 weeks! They stoled my card and never paid me!
