Cap-1 makes NO pretense at providing even minimal service levels & has ZERO interest in improving. NO matter the issue it is basically a waste of time to call Cap-1 & they have eliminated ALL email contact options. Only phone & written options exist & written contacts generally receive NO reply. Cap-1 phone reps are POORLY trained & have little-to-NO factual operational knowledge. We have almost $1 Mil on deposit & 1/2 million in Venture credit card travel credits but are unable to access the travel credits because the website "transfer" option to airline partners IS NOT working & HAS NOT worked for WEEKS. Cap-1 phone reps are polite but ABSOLUTELY CLUELESS about providing an option. They simply admit that they have NO knowledge of HOW to correct the problem since it is tied to Venture Travel Rewards & they cannot even access that part of the system Nor do they have "any" idea when the issue will be fixed. As a result this is yet ANOTHER issue with Cap-1 that is a total dead-end in terms of help. Who knows "if or when" the website will be functional again & Cap-1 seems TOTALLY unconcerned about the issue. HORRENDOUS service.
This is the worst service I've ever had in my life and would not recommend capital one to anyone. I filed a dispute with this fraudulent company called "student loan forgiveness centers" that I paid $899 to consolidate my student loans and I realized they were fraud after I paid the money due to inconsistent behavior. I provided Capitol one with documentation, showing proof of my requested refund, negative reviews on BBB (Better Buisness Bureau) relating to the company due to scam and documentation that the company provided stating that I had within 72 hours to request for a refund when I asked for one the first day. Capitol one stated that SLFC provided a document that stated I asked for a refund after the 72 hours on the 25th of January in which i did but i still asked several days prior and with proof. Capital One also told me I had to have proof of the company returning a refund. Why would they give me that when they ran off with it? That makes absolute no sense. This makes me sick. I honestly thought my bank would've had my back but in reality they helped them run off with my money with no loan consolidation or service from the obvious scam.
Quicksilver One Credit Card
As a new customer using this account I was in love with it because I was able to earn cash back in every purchase. Within the first month of having the QSCC I made almost $30 in cash back. I would charge the card then pay it back by the end of the day or whenever I see a balance post to my account! However Capital One decided to place a 26 day hold on my payments towards the account because they claim I am making to many payments in a short time frame when I'm only paying back once I see a balance post on my account. As a customer to not be able to now use my card for 26 days and hold my payments on the account is outrageous. As a customer being penalized for using the card what it is made for and then being told I can not use the card or have a payment post for 30 days is unacceptable. Now within that time frame when Capital Reports my balance to the credit bureau it will look like I have paid my account because of a hold when I have not abused the card or account in any shape. This is unacceptable and I will no longer recommend Capital One going forward.
A disgrace of a company fees and interest rates when I close my account I'll never get another again
Highly suggest avoiding ANY kind of banking with this financial institution. Closed a credit card account, they still sent statements for change interest. GET AT PAID IN FULL LETTER.

I've spent more time with uninformed reps that have given contradicting information. It's a FULL time job getting correct information and requests fulfilled.
I requested payoff letter for a business loan over 2 weeks ago. First they said they can only mail it to physical address. Never received the letter in the mail. Called and spoke with a rep who then told me they can email it in three days. Never received the email after speaking with 3 other reps. I am currently on hold waiting for the request which is not escalated by the Supervisor. Apparently, the loan department does not have numbers that even the SUPERVISOR can call to find out what's going on.
WHAT A CLUSTER FXXX.
By the way, all of the other financial institutions has given payoff letter via email within one hour. First American Bank, Paypal Business loan, SBA loan. Seriously! This situation isn't something you want to deal with nor most people would have the time to spend.
My money was deposited on the first which is today and I was hoping to pay my bills on time and celebrate the 4th but no I have to wait until next Friday to touch my hard earned money smh

I realized this wasn't really capital one, I serach up they mailing location no location, then one day I left my card up there and my debit card ppl from my card user message me saying someone trying steal $100 out my account I surely it was this website because I kept my card up there for a long time, now they charging alot me for only 2 late payments and I look closely at the papper theses people not a real bank company, I took computer class so I know, they talking about it will effect your credit but ain't it say no credit require y'all don't use this fake company I couldn't found they located of a mailing address do your research before applying for something big ole lesson for me
Obtained 1 late fee in the past 5 years even though I paid my bill on the 20th at 7:47pm ARIZONA TIME and the due date was the 20th...Capital one wants to tell me about how they operate and why, after being a customer for over 10 years and not a single late payment in at least 5 years, they cant waive 1 late fee. I was supposed to know that the 20th ends when East Coast time says its the 21st not my time.They never work with you when your in need, or increase ur credit line when u ask (even with a 710 credit score and being their customer for 8 years). Sole concerns of CapitalOne...money and fees. Go to DISCOVER where your interest will be better, late fees are less, and they will look at you as a customer to determine whether or not 1 late fee in 5 years AND NOT EVEN LATE TECHNICALLY...could be waived. Mind you...all situations differ...this is an accurate reflection of events. $#*!ty Capital One. I have been a very good customer...the money you have made off me...what should be a VALUED customer...and you want to just tell me how not to be late next time...AGAIN...DUE 20th...PAID 20th...AND I have an additional, PAY IN FULL, payment set up for 4 days from the 20th at that.
I have never and most likely will never negatively review a company again because I sincerely do not believe I will ever experience such atrocious treatment again.
I applied for the Capital One Venture X card, I have excellent credit and have never been denied for a card prior. I got instantly denied after clicking apply through an automatic response system. I got my reason for denial letter the next day by email. The reason stated that my credit score was too low. I looked and found that they somehow pulled my credit score 50 points lower than it was. I then called capital one to see what this was about and on this call I got berated, yelled at, and experienced sass for asking simple questions. The customer service representative then re-applied me for the card causing me to get another hard inquiry (at all three bureaus) and I got denied again all without my permission. You can imagine how furious this made me because I had another issue I had to dispute with the credit bureaus. After this fiasco, I called the credit bureau(equifax) and had them send me my credit report which in fact was 50 points higher than what capital one pulled.
After that, I found out you cannot dispute a credit issue with Capital One unless you physically send a letter which from the day you send out the letter, it takes 14 days to get a response. After sending my first letter and getting my response 14 days later they asked me for more information, which I gladly provided thinking that progress was being made. 14 days after I sent the second letter I finally got a response, what was that response? An explanation of what an inquiry is, yes you read that right over a month of arguing and communication and they grace me with the definition of what an inquiry is. Yup that is all, I am purchasing my flights next week so I just went ahead and got AmeX whom INSTANTLY approved me and gave me no credit limit, so yeah I think I'm done with Capital One.
I was just about to submit this review and quite literally during my writing of this review I got applied for the Venture X for my third time once again without my consent. Lovely Company.
Thanks to an ill-fated flirtation with a company called Asian Date not only was I scammed but ridden down to the ground like a rodeo calf with fees, charges, and credit card debt thanks to a fraudulent illusion!
When I finally realized that the little Chinese princesses that wanted me so badly were just staff writers probably getting commissions for writing letters and getting replies I contacted Capital One customer service and told them what had happened. They weren't very optimistic about being able to help but they did allow me to send evidence of the Asian Date scam. Luckily after months, numerous letters, phone calls, rebuffs, and finally the question of criminal fraud by Asian date getting pushed up to their corporate services division I got a response, a conscientious employee who fought for me, and they refunded all charges and cleared my credit record. They did send 2 checks to me that I had to disregard that were supposed to be kicked out automatically by the system, but after getting the cleared up and telling them I would take legal action for having been sent checks they would not honor, I at least got the debt cleared and the balance removed from my account with my charge privileges restored.
Advice: Whoever you do business with check reviews online. 2) Do not trust or do business with Asian Date, China Love, Charmerly, Asia Charm, or any other of the Russian owned Asian dating or overseas bride service clones all created by the same bloodthirsty vampires who would exploit you like a blind prostitute in a whore House!

I request a balance transfer on July 10. July 16th, I received statement from Capital One. I thought it was done deal. I was wrong. The balance transfer never was executed. The reason I chose Capital One bank because it was supposed to be easy for me, it was not supposed to make my life more difficult. Today is July 30th, my credit score went down because my debts increased from $3500 to $7000. I have to pay $70 transfer fee for NO BALANCE TRANSFER. BBVA bank charged me a fee for not paying what I owed by the due date. I wasted my time everyday by calling Capital one bank customer service representative. In Addition, I talked to one of supervisors, her name is Anpenajia. The supervisor was very rude, she told me I'm not patient and tried to cancel my transaction because she was just tired and annoyed from dealing with me. I know something is not right with this transaction. I never experienced such bad customer service. Capital One has cause me a lot of problems and stress. Representatives were not helpful and they did not care at all about my problem. Never ever will have any deal with Capital One bank!
They charged me 59 dollars membership fee so I shut all my accts WOW 15 yr customer loss! They have to be dumb morons
