Very disappointed in 1) product ordering experience, 2) customer service and 3) overall shop experience. Here's why: I am a professional illustrator. Every year I order buttons for my illustration team as we do an annual group comic book. This year I uploaded my original artwork and my image was flagged. They canceled my order and took my image down. According to the email I received, the image went against their content user policy. I understand the need for this policy, and I respect it. But I have not been able to reach the CUP dept by phone or email to get a decent response as to WHY my image was flagged. My image is © to me. It's not obscene. Is CafePress interpreting the image out of context of the entire comic book? Perhaps. I understand that CP has to have this policy in place, but a RESPONSE as to why this image was flagged and then later taken down would be appreciated! I'd love to learn from what seems to be a mistake on my part? Like I said, I can't reach CUP by phone or email. Lastly, I have been on CafePress FOR YEARS now and CP has made so much money from the use and printing of my artwork. I think after all these years the piddly amount (less than 10%) I make on commissions is just not worth it anymore. I have since taken down my best-selling images and started my own e-commerce site. In just 2 weeks I have made more money selling my own high quality posters than all of the products of my work CP has profited from combined. Because of the poor customer service, disappointment with this latest order and unfair commissions, I am thinking of shutting down my account. Sorry, CP, but I found another vendor to print my annual comic book buttons and they are on their way to being delivered this week. On CP, 30 buttons was $45 plus S+H (almost 2 weeks to receive - July 18 estimated). However, on the new vendor site (PureButtons), their buttons are $9 for 25 plus $6.25 S+H, and higher quality since they specialize in buttons and stickers (due for delivery July 11) and they get a 5 star rating from most folks. With all due respect, I submit this 1 star review.

DO NOT ORDER FROM CAFE PRESS! MY experience has been the worst i have ever had with any company, customer support is non existent!

I ordered my product with 2-4 days shipping as a gift, after receiving confirmation of order, I received nothing from them for 3 days, no shipping notice, nothing. So I called only to be told my order had cancelled, only when I questioned the customer service agent did she tell me it was being processed, whatever that meant, I got told it was now scheduled to be delivered the next day.
Next Day I call again to check on status of order after not hearing anything, again same story, promised delivery that day, its with UPS I got told, nothing turns up.

Next day and my third phone call, sorry sir, it will be delivered tomorrow, again no shipping info, no tracking number nothing, so I call again, this time I get told the other customer service representatives didn't know what they were talking about and that the order was not in production yet, but they would overnight it tomorrow, Another day another phone call (5 now) and I get told it hasn't shipped again but its being processed, right back where we were 5 days ago, The customer service rep, didn't seem to understand that it was a present and needed 2 days ago, but continued to tell me it would be delivered tomorrow, again no shipping info.
I'm writing this just before I make the 6th phone call.

And DO NOT BOTHER with their email system, they say they get back to you in 24 hours, I emailed and asked, nothing back for 2 days, and then their response was, they couldn't help me because they didn't have my order number, goodness knows how they are going to deliver my order when they don't even have my order number.

Absolutely terrible company, do not order anything from them, they lie constantly, take your money but don't deliver products, their shipping times are completely fabricated, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with, they treat your like dirt on the phone, and don't answer any question, entirely evasive, disgusting practice.

Please, please, please do not use them, would hate for anyone to have to deal with them.

Like others, if I could rate this less than one star, I would. I would NEVER recommend that ANYONE buy merchandise from Cafepress.com.
This past Christmas my brother and I both ordered merchandise; he ordered three t-shirts for $45 plus tax and shipping and I ordered an IPhone 4 case for around $20 plus tax and shipping. I fortunately placed my order a month before Christmas so even when it arrived late, I still received it before the holiday- my brother, on-the-other-hand, was less fortunate. He ordered his shirts only two weeks before Christmas and paid a shipping cost that "guaranteed" delivery before the holiday, shockingly the shirts arrived on our doorstep three days after Christmas. The IPhone case I ordered was never dropped, but it cracked and broke beyond the point of superglue (which was used for the first three times it cracked) within the first week of its use. The three shirts are gathering dust in drawers like they have for the past seven months due to the poor quality of the shirts. The shirt I received from my brother for Christmas had a pixelated iron-on plastic decal with a black background that did not match the black shirt. Along with the plastic decal, the shirt had a huge rectangle of heat activated glue that covered the majority of the front of the shirt and also stained portions of the back. The shirt that my father got had another iron-on decal with a noticeable glue stain, but his was crooked and not centered on the shirt, on top of that the image and lettering appeared blurry and out of focus. The third shirt was given to my sister which had two different image designs which seemed to be copied from Clipart that clashed with each other. Overall I am grotesquely vexed with the price of the products versus their prices. I wish I had read the reviews of Cafepress.com before my brother and I made our purchases. Again, I would NEVER recommend ANYONE buy merchandise from Cafepress.com.

I just had a very awful conversation with one of CafePress'' "friendly" representatives, Santania. She was uninformed, rude, and refused to help me with my order. When I asked to speak with anyone else to simply find out what's going on she said "everyone's on the line" and there was a problem with the system and she "didn't know what was going on" and would not help me any further, but constantly asked "do you want to cancel or confirm it?"

I spent over $300 on CafePress. I have a bank statement in front of me to clearly show this. The CafePress representative said that it wasn't CafePress andwhat I was syaying was a lie. When I asked if she could explain this and tell me why it was charged (I understand problems can happen) she stated she wasn't "concerned with XYZ, did I want to cancel it or confirm it." I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be charged again if I confirmed or that I would be refunded the money if I canceled. She refused to give me any help or insight into my order.

I am appalled at how poorly I was treated and her lack of knowledge about anything to do with my order or CafePress itself.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS CafePress!
