Run away from this company. No where have I ever seen almost 100% of the reviews say the same thing over and over. Sadly I found this out too late. Everything others have posted is exactly what happened to me. Booked, paid and got a confirmation. Then they are calling + emailing wanting more money + my ticket isn't actually booked but "on hold." My flight was supposed to be tomorrow + I don't now have a ticket. Anyway, booked now with another company so hopefully people can pass the word around about this company.

I bought airline tickets for a couple to go to Vietnam. The middle name of the wife on the tickets was wrong. I asked them to correct, they blamed on airline policy did not allow. I called EVA airline they said BuyMyTrip.com can correct it. An agent at BuyMyTrip.com also tell me to cancel the tickets, I will get the refund minus -

The name was wrong on one of my tickets, and they would not change it even though I contacted them a month ahead of time. I ended up making it to Asia with the wrong name on my ticket, but the airline demanded that I get it fixed before my return flight. BuyMyTrip again would not change the name, and I ended up spending hours getting it fixed myself while I was in a foreign country, without proper phone access. It was awful
The customer service was great. I got all the possible help for my travel needs. The support person explained to me all the details patiently. This is the 5th time I have booked my India trip with them and they are the best. I have referred Buymytrip to many of my friends and they all loved this travel agent.
They are the Worst third party agency ever. Don't ever buy a ticket through them. They are a liar Scammers and fraud The Policies online is different from when you call them in the office they are all lairs And they don't help customers.They're not willing to hear you out. When I got my ticket at the checkout BuyMyTrip offered trip insurance $75 each way so I paid $150, but BuyMyTrip DO NOT honer it. It says that you can make any change if NO fee within 24 hours prior your flight. I contacted them zillion times by phone and email and they tried to charge me a full price for the flight change. But I contacted with more then 40 hours in advance. When I mentioned the insurance they said that they needed time to contact the airline and they would get back to me which NEVER happened. What they are doing is FRAUD. Don't buy from them. It's a complete SCAM. They are basically stealing money. After the purchase is done they send a receipt with just the final price.
Complete fraud. My flight was canceled due to weather conditions. The airline company told me to contact the agency BYMYTRIP to get rembursed, but they never replayed back to my email or phone number which is fake. So sad, I lost 300$. :(
I used buymytrip for my most recent trip to Chile 11/21 and while I was initially pleased with the simplicity of booking all four of my flights together, I was ultimately beyond disappointed. More accurately I was extremely enraged to learn once I arrived at JFK airport that I in fact had not secured a single seat on any of the four flights I booked. I was embarrassed and humiliated to have to book a $1400 flight on the spot to Santiago, Chile 2 days before Thanksgiving. I will never use their services again and will warn everyone I know against doing so they may avoid experiencing the same horror I faced. Instead of paying the $898 USD that buymytrip led me to believe was the cost for all 4 flights, I ended up paying $2,500 USD on top of the humiliation of arriving at the airport with no flights booked.
This 1 star review is even generous for the unprofessional service we received. We purchased tickets online through their website and they called us from a phone number associated with "essential by nature" saying that they cannot book our trip without having us pay an additional $1000 per ticket as there were no seats available that day for the price we initially paid. After going back and forth for a bit with the sales associate giving different dates and prices they ended up cancelling our tickets. Fortunately our trip is not for a couple more months but this would have been such an inconvenient experience for anyone who was booking last minute tickets.
You will be notified of fare fluctuation from the airline's end. They want you to agree with a much higher price(plus 2000). If it's not working. Then their agent will reach you and Want to sell you ticket with luggage allowance around 200 more than original price. (Your email confirmation will mention "No hold luggage"). If you still consider cancellation of the order. They will lower the fare further but still 100 more than original price. By the way, the won't deduct your money until you express your agreement with new price.
This company wastes your time. Booked a flight. Flight booking confirmed. Then, emails saying that it was not confirmed but the price I originally booked would be honoured. Then, another email saying my order could not be fulfilled due to technical errors. Finally called the Canadian 647 number and spoke to Rio (a manager). Condescending and unhelpful. Did not care that I had a confirmation email, and another email stating the price they would honour. Now, my trip was $500 more. Spend the extra money and book through reputable airlines. I think I dodged a bullet. BEWARE.
It looks legit when you book, but then you get a confirmation email full of grammatical errors saying you'll receive an e-ticket separately. This does not happen. Instead, you later receive an email claiming the airline could not offer that price and that you need to pay a higher price. This email has even worse errors on it, including a Calgary address with an Ontario postal code with too many digits.
This company only legally gets away with operating this way is by not actually charging you until you fall for their bait & switch tactics.
Update: booked the exact same itinerary with booking.com the following day, no problem getting the same price from the day before.
I don't know how these guys are still in business. It looks like everyone has similar issues with them. I booked a flight. They didn't process it on their side in time. Then cancelled it for no reason later I find out it's because the price of the flight went up by 2 grand and they forgot to book it when I originally paid them. Refusing to help me I am still fighting to get my original money back and I had to book a flight through a more reputable company.
Worst company. I booked a ticket from Edmonton, AB to Toronto, ON using their website. The price was $192. After booking, I got a confirmation email that my e-ticket will be emailed shortly. After waiting for a couple of hours, I called them to inquire about the e-ticket, and they said the ticket at this price didn't go through, and if I want to continue, I have to pay $270 for the ticket instead of $192. Had to cancel it cause there was no other way to get that ticket processes. Total waste of time. Stay away from this company. Worst experience.
This company will not book your flights. They will say they have, then renig, and email you a few days later saying your flight is no longer available and that the rate has increased hundreds of dollars.
I don't want to give them even a one star.
I booked my flight on August 05,2023 for $127 and after two days on Aug 07 they sending me email that your ticket is not confirmed yet because price is up. You have to pay updated balance 192 then we can confirm your ticket otherwise not. They already sent me email confirmation on Aug 05 and in email it's write down that we will send Eticket within 4 to 24 hours. Now when it's passed 44 hours they are calling me sorry we cannot confirm your ticket on same price. I asked that girl can I talk to your supervisor and she said wait for movement she put me on hold 3 times for 15 -20 minutes and again and again saying my supervisor not available. You have to pay extra if you want to travel on same flight.
They said seats are not available right now that's why fair is up. I told them that then you have to update your website beforehand not when the customer already booked the flight. But they didn't even want to listen customer view.
It's totally unfair for customer. It's there responsibility to update their website and check with airline regarding price instead saying to customer that no sorry fair is up because travelling date coming soon.

This agency should be negative starts, unbelievable irresponsible! I bought international flight with them, the agent entered my name wrong, I have asked them to fix it, they did not try to do anything about it, just say it is ok just go to airport earlier, at least 4 hours ahead of departure, how ridiculous! They know this will have a issues, then told me to go to airport earlier to deal with it. I checked with my flight airline, airline told me if the name is wrong, definitely airline wont' let me get on the aboard and 3 hours before departure is good enough. I have called and emailed over 20 times in 2 weeks, the agent did not fix the errors, even worse, hanged up my calls. This agency is so ridiculous and not responsible. Never ever do any business with them! This agency is nightmare!
They will send you an email saying your confirmation is booked and then email you again the next day to say the price went up by $100-$200 dollars and you need to pay more to confirm. I didn't see this email from them as it went to my junk mail and found out months later (just before my flight) that my ticket was never booked. When I called them and asked them to honor the price they were so rude and kept interrupting me and even yelling at me to say I should've answered their email sooner or called back sooner. They're a total scam and don't accept any responsibility, and now are telling me that same flight is $7000 even though I found it on google for $3000 (still causing me to lose a thousand dollars because of them)
Had a few complications with flight cancellations due to the pandemic, the staff was extremely accommodating, professional, and responded back to emails in a timely manner. Would recommend this service to all those looking for a trustworthy, cost efficient way to book travelling affairs.
