I'm so glad I read past reviews. It prepared me for the call I received two hours after booking where a representative tried to tell me there were no more seats on the flight I booked but that for an extra $50 per customer I could get a seat in an upgraded section of the airplane. I had a bad feeling of where this was leaving and turned into a parrot saying "no thank you please cancel my reservation". After I repeated that about five times they insisted that they could keep me on the flight for the original price I paid. I kept saying no at this time I only want you to cancel my reservation. The representative asked why I was so unwilling to work with them. I mentioned the fact that this was extremely sketchy behavior and that coupled with their poor reputation on review boards, I had no interest in continuing my reservation. The representative was extremely combative but gave in when I threatened to have my bank get involved in they choose to charge my card. Save yourself the headache and if you already booked like me, make sure you call and don't relent when they make it hard for you.

My experience with BuyMyTrip has been nothing short of alarming, and I hope other people won't become victim to their scams.

Yesterday, I attempted to purchase a flight ticket through BuyMyTrip, a third-party travel booking website that I found listed as the second option on Google Flights. I was lured in by what seemed like a legitimate platform, but it quickly turned into an alarming ordeal.

After making the initial booking and receiving an email stating that my reservation was being processed, I felt reasonably confident about my purchase. However, the very next day, I received another email from BuyMyTrip claiming that the credit card authorization for my booking had been declined. This was perplexing to me because I had already provided my valid credit card information during the booking process.

I decided to contact BuyMyTrip's customer service to resolve the issue and was shocked by their response. They insisted that I pay via e-transfer. I was aware that once e-transfers are sent, it becomes extremely difficult to recover the funds or have any recourse in case of a dispute. This further confirmed my suspicions that BuyMyTrip was engaging in fraudulent activities.

To validate my concerns, I decided to research BuyMyTrip online and was horrified by what I discovered on this forum. Numerous reviews from other customers indicated that they never received their tickets, were asked to pay more money, and even encountered difficulties at the airport when their flights were not in the system. It is evident that BuyMyTrip is running a scam operation, and their presence as a second option on Google Flights is highly irresponsible.

After gathering this information, I immediately contacted BuyMyTrip to cancel my reservation and informed them that I would not be making any payments. I will also be contacting my credit card company to ensure that I am not charged for any unauthorized transactions and to blacklist BuyMyTrip.

I hope my review will help others from being scammed by this company!

Scammers! I can't believe how Google Flights keeps them in their website. To be avoided at any cost, and hopefully Google Flights do something about them.

I can't believe what these airlines have come to these days. If I could leave a 0 review I would.

My girlfriend and I were planning a trip overseas. I am travelling on business, so I had to use my work travel agent. My girlfriend was going to meet me a week later, and we would stay a couple extra weeks to holiday.

My girlfriend found flights on this website. The flights were expensive as-is, but we still proceeded with the order anyways since it was the cheapest we could find by about $150. Once she closed the sale, and received her order confirmation, I contacted my business travel agent and proceeded with confirming my flights.

About an hour later this company contacted her saying that the flights were oversold and that they needed her to pay an extra $500 dollars in order to secure her flight. I ended up talking to the man on the phone and argued with him for quite some time telling him that this was unacceptable. He was very rude and aggressive and threatened to cancel the flight all together. Unfortunately, I had already committed to my flights so we were kind of forced into a position where we had to follow through with this purchase. He ended up "doing me a favor" and only charged us an extra $400 instead of $500.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. So unprofessional. Not even sure how this is legal, since the order confirmation that was originally sent had a price on it. I will be contacting BBB to see if they can help. I just hope my girlfriend can make her flight.

The website seemed to be fraud. -If you book a flight, they send you a confirmation with no guarantee for price or fees, and you just paid a thousand bucks without any actual travel documents on hand. The confirmation they send out doesn't garantee anything.
-All the phone numbers they provide as "24/7 customer care" end up at a voicemail box where you are asked to record a message, but doesn't actually let you record anything. If you read the terms & conditions it says: they "reserve the right to change the prices, fees, charges regarding the goods and services available on its website at any time and from time to time without any notice or liability to the user or any other person."
-They also claim on the website: "Zero Change or Cancel Fee,
Now enjoy complete peace of mind with the freedom to change or cancel your travel itinerary within same booking day."
But state at the same time in small print:
"All cancellations are subject to an administrative charge plus any applicable airline cancellation charges." very dubious.

Booked a trip to yvr from Regina; got confirmation only to not receive the tickets; called and it was upcharged by $80 a ticket. I promptly cancelled... not a good company at all.

They wanna charge me 300$ more on my ticket hours later. Try calling and the lady was rude. Worst experience ever with flight ticket.

Please do not book with them, they are fraud. Look at the email below, they have an alberta address with an Ontario province. They are all indians working out of a call centre in India and are scamming everyone. The lady named Lisa got really mad when I said I was going to report her to my credit card company and hug up the phone call. DM me if anyone wants to learn more about it. Please report this company and make sure it gets taken out of google flights search.

They are biggest SCAMMER company they are scamming the people by showing them attractive prices and later they are charging them more...DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM THEY ARE SCAM
