If I could give them 0 I would! I ordered a custom on October 22 and it'll be with me on 26, because of Halloween they don't accept returns after the 24th! What should I do that get my order on the 26th?!
They were like you can return it after November 1st and the shipping is on you which is about $13 and 12% restocking! What the hell! Don't buy from them! Horrible mistake!
Always bought from this company I decided to buy a costume for 2021 - just a scary nun costume for $36.00. Went To check out online and found out there is only one Shipping option Economy $33.00 (this is not expedited shipping) - I Thought this must be a website error, so I called customer service - Customer Service said nope we only offer that one shipping option no matter what you buy - So I said BYE BYE and good luck
I have purchased several costumes from this site. I am better off ordering from Amazon as they dont offer return shipping. It cost me more to mail the items back to WI than I actually paid for them.
I ordered with no problems. I received an email stating to wait for an email confirming shipment. After a long wait, I emailed to check the status of my order. I was told that my order was cancelled because they no longer had my costume. It's ridiculous that I had to contact them to find out. I never received anything from them regarding the status of my order. Unprofessional!
In Sept. I purchased a costume for Halloween. I had no problems with the transaction or shipping. I received the outfit, pulled it out the package and found it was too big when I tried it on. About a week later, I ordered another one the next size down. Got that one and it fit right. I proceeded to return the first costume with in the 30 day return policy as stated on the website. About a week later, I received an e-mail that my return was received and that my refund was being processed. A little over a month later I realized I never saw my refund or had any other communication from buycostumes.com. I e-mailed the company after siting on hold for customer service for 30 mins. The next morning I had not received a response to my e-mail so I tried calling again. The guy I spoke with said he would dig into the situation and call me back. He called back and left me a message stating he had more information about my refund. Before I called him back I found a response to my e-mail stating I was not going to get a refund because there was hair on my outfit and it was deemed damaged. All I did was take it out of the package, try it on, and put it right back in the package. I had noticed it had some seams coming undone when I tried it on. I call to speak with customer service again and spoke with the supervisor that was e-mailing me. I told her that I either need my refund or my product returned to me. She told me that she would dig into it and would get back to me either that day or the next. It has been several days and I have not heard anything and now you can not get through on their phone line. What crooks.
After I made my order I read the reviews and got worried. I checked on my order on their website using my order number and a message came up saying that they could not find my order. I immediately sent an email. I received a response that night confirming my order had been shipped and they included a tracking number. My order actually arrived 2 days BEFORE it's estimated arrival date. I was very happy with the prompt response I received. My only complaint would be that I was never able to check on my order via their website because it kept telling me that the order could not be found.
If I could give this company zero stars I would. I ordered a Halloween costume in medium and instead of stating we have none in stock they sent me Extra Large. The reason why I know this as the person on the phone told me they have not had medium stock for a long time. If they have done this to me I am sure they have done this with many others. Taking this to it logically conclusion they are only doing this in the hope you do not complain about it or make do with the one they sent you. Horrible company... please if you want good service and the right item use another company!

Paid ectra moneyvfor faster shipping and they sent it the slowest method possible! Customer service is a JOKe! You wait on hold for at least 30 minutes before talking to someone in a different country!

This place is a joke! Pre-ordered a costume in September. 2 estimated in stock dates came and went. Can't reach anyone by email, phone or Facebook to cancel the order. Costumes came in but in all other sizes than what I ordered. The closer it gets to Halloween, the more they jack up their prices. The costume I pre-ordered was $48. They sold what came in at $90! I went ahead an ordered a wig they had in stock. Price along the bottom said $20.99 but when you click on it, it jumped to $29.99. Paid the extra $ to have it delivered sooner and they sent it the slowest, cheapest way they could so it will not be here by the "guaranteed" arrival date. Never again! I had to cancel my card since no one from this site was reachable for me to cancel my order with. Wish I would have seen the bad reviews of this place before I ordered. Oh and Amazon has the other costume that I had ordered but they wouldn't ship till the other came in and it was only $18. This place wants $45. Found the costume that was on the preorder in the size i wanted in stock for $38. That was even cheaper then the pre-order price these people wanted. So if you like to pay more than you should, have stuff not delivered when it should be and not be able to reach someone if there is an issue, this is the website for You!
These people are a bunch of thieves, I bought a Little Red Riding Hood costume for my daughter. What was advertised and what I received was 2 different things. The outfit she received can't be used and this was for a class project, it's made from a cheap looking material and poor workman. I will never purchase from this site again. Please don't waste your money buying from them. Total cons.
If I could rate this company less then 1 star I would. I place an order but then received a call saying my card number was incorrect. I called them and they offered to take the order over the phone after many failed attempts with "bad communication." After about 40 minutes of her taking my card number (wrong every time) she then said she had to start the whole process over because the system timed out. Awful customer service. My sister also placed an order not only did she get the wrong size but now the costume was out of stock they only offered to give a refund once they receive the costume back and could not even offer to expedite another one once it was available. They refused to put a manager or supervisor on the phone. I have never had business with such cases unprofessional people. I'm 100% dissatisfied and will report them to the better business bureau. Offering to refund money is not the "best you could do" it's the least you could do and they can't even seem to get that right. Waste of time, energy and money.
Ordered the adult T Rex inflatable costume on Sept 23, got 10% off, did not receive a confirmation email so after reading all the bad reviews I was concerned and clicked the 'contact us' link on their page. I received an email back apologizing within 24 hours along with my confirmation and tracking number. The estimated deliver was Oct 3, I received my costume on Sept 30.
This company is awful. Everyone time I call they immediately say there is a bad phone connection and they have to call me back and again they say they still have a bad phone connection. I have no clue how they conduct their business. They sent me my order number and it was wrong.
Not sure what everyone problem is. I purchased a Darth Vader Supreme costume from them on 03/17/216. It arrived 03/19/2016. I measured my self and ordered the costume based on my measurements. It arrived exactly as I ordered and fit really nice. Nothing was broken or damage. I even talked to the customer service rep on 03/18/2016 to verify they had received my order. She was very polite and curious. I will definitely be doing business with them again... The only issue I have is this costume came from Rubies. I HATE Rubies stuff with a burning passion and their stuff is cheap and crap. I ordered from them to avoid Rubies, but it still said Rubies on the box. I was really scared and nervous, there are some very cheap things on this costume. The gloves and belt are not very solid. That is why I'm giving them 4 out of 5 stars.
Disgusted with this company. Ordered a costume and selected not to pay the extra for express delivery so was expecting to wait 10 business days to receive it. Received it 3 days later. Sizing was WAY it so retuned it and silly me, bought the smaller size, again received in 3 days though did not request express delivery. Company paid me back about a third of what I spent. When I chased them up I was told they didn't receive the original costume. I provided them with the tracking number and proof they had received it and they're now saying refund is for cost of goods only, trying to imply that part of the cost was for shipping. Unbelievable. Taking this further.
I received my package as ordered and on time with no issues whatsoever. Canadian costumer so was a little disappointed that the exchange difference was later added to my bill but other than everything came as it looked online.
Super happy considering I was already debating on reversing the charges after reading the reviews online. Glad I was patient as I got it December 3rd.

My daughter was so excited that we were able to order this costume three days before Halloween and we received it on the date that was promised. The sizing was perfect and the quality was great. No other costume stores were carrying this item locally so it was such a blessing to find this online And get it within days of Halloween thank you for making a little girl very happy!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!? This company lost my package. Has refused to refund my money. They claim the money has already been refunded or it will be done the next day. They said it was against company policy to let me speak with the billing department. Has rude customer service representatives. Will NOT return my emails. Continues to have excuses claiming phone issues or computer issues. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB as well as with my credit card company. Had to give it at least a 1 rating to post a review but does not deserve that.
Answer: I have never responded to any reviews, but I have to is time- this is not a legit company- it is a hoax- do not give them your money. Every word you have read is the truth.
