Everything else for our bathroom remodel as arrived: Faucet sets (2), Toilet, tank and seat, Towel bars, toilet paper holder and ring bar. Everything is in its factory cartons and looks perfect upon first inspection. The ordering process was pretty easy, Build.com had a great selection at reasonable price points and we couldn't be happier. I doubt anything will need to be returned as we checked and double checked the dimension and specs of everything we ordered prior to finalizing the sale. Very happy overall.

Purchased 2 American Standard Vessel Sinks from Build.com. 1 was damaged and called Build.Com. They were very understanding and did everything possible to get me the new sink before the installers came. Had it in time and the job was done without a problem. The customer service agent was very professional and understanding and would recommend Build.com
I bought an Frigidaire A/C from Build.com. I did a lot of research before I contacted them. Their representative was very helpful even though my purchase was not that large. The unit arrived in fairly good shape, but I can see how merchandise may be in excellent shape when received by the transporting company, but arrives in considerably worse shape when it reaches the customer. Overall, I would recommend Build.com to others for their helpfulness and their prices. Shipping is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

100 degrees in New England - the mountains of New Hampshire to be exact - a very rare occurrence for sure. July 3 I ordered a portable air conditioner which promised delivery by July 5th. Didn't think that could possibly happen; so livechat with Build.Com and was assured that this was indeed the delivery date. It arrived before noon! July 5. Less than 48 hours from order time and date with a holiday the full day for delivery. It works great! It is great! And I am grateful. Have used Build.com with great success in the past but this was really special. You saved the day!

Purchased cabinet hardware - they don't make hinges that match the hardware I bought - tried to return them and was told that since my purchase was more than 60 days old, there was nothing they could do All in original packaging - in plastic bags and boxes, never opened and they won't take them back or let me return for credit against another item. I will never use them again. LESSON LEARNED - THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I work with a remodeling company in Florida and we do many bathroom remodels. Due to our aging population, we install tons of grab bars. I found the Moen grab bars that we use on build.com website for less $$, and super fast delivery. Their customer service reps are professional and knowledgeable, and were eager to help the one time the order was wrong (not sure if my fault or theirs).
They have everything. They are lightening fast! Competent employees - which is rare these days. Wont shop anywhere else. Prices cant be beat.

Answer: I don't know how you can actually get them to answer the correct lead time. I received an estimated ship date when I ordered an American Standard faucet. Then, they emailed me 3 more times with delays. I called them after the first delay, and while I was on the phone with the agent, she placed me on hold and called American Standard, and said they told her that there would be no more delays. After this last delay, I called to cancel the order. They said they would "request cancellation" from American Standard. The big problem is they charged my account IMMEDIATELY when I ordered the product, but won't refund the money until American Standard confirms the cancellation. The service agent i spoke with escalated to her supervisor, and the supervisor is the worst person I have ever encountered when dealing with customer service.
Answer: Sorry to hear that. What finish were you trying to match? Usually its best ti use the same brand name when trying to match a finish, such as a Moen faucet to match a Moen towel bar or towel ring. That is because everybody has their own technique of making their products. I wonder if the finish on your new American Standard faucet is doesn't match because the other item you're matching in not made by American Standard. You should be able to return it if it hasn't been installed in any way and you still have the original packaging.
