I am trying to cancel a subscription that I didn't consent to. I think they need to update their website and give you that option to do it yourself. I emailed them few times and I was still waiting for their answer.
Do not pay for the test, then they will automatically deduct money from your account! Do not share any data of your main card! Find another and safe IQ test! They don't even answer to my e-mails.

This company gets you to pay 8 dollars for an IQ test and then secretly locks you into a yearly subscription for $79.80. I received a few emails telling me my subscription would renew with a link to cancel it, which I clicked on twice and entered my email as requested to confirm the cancellation twice, but it still took the $79.80 out of my account. I hope this gets sorted ASAP otherwise I will be contacting the fraud team for advice on this.

They purposefully make the messaging about the auto-renewal subscription small and easy to miss so that customers won't cancel their subscription (that they know nothing about). These people are out to steal money from their customers and it is appalling!

My son wanted to buy this test for $8, I said sure just make sure to cancel it. He came to me a week later and said he tried to cancel it but it wouldn't recognize his email( which is the email we used) and that it charged me $79 for a subscription. I told it's ok we will reach out to them tomorrow. I called but there was an automation that instructed me reach out by email. So I did I asked to cancel the subscription and refund my money. They canceled it with ease but refused to refund my money. Then shared sections of the agreement to show that they don't have to refund my money. I requested to speak to a manager. But Roland is all I got, he apologized for my inconvenience but said I should have reached out as soon as the system wasn't recognizing my email. I reached out as soon as I found out. The fact that they're system is junk and they can't bare to part with my $79 shows us enough about this company. I would never purchase anything they make and I will make sure to find out if they are owned by a larger company and will boycott anything that company does also. Are they legally allowed to keep my money… yes, but ethically, that's questionable. Same like the others
Pay for iq test cost only 8 dollars, no mentioning on trial subscription and charge you almost 80 dollars after a week. So called "automatically renew the subscription" so you could be at ease and no worries but now i see that everyone is pissed with this "kind offer".
Will continue follow up here if refund been made, it's unenthical and is a scam to steal money without acknowledgement Brainety.

They make it impossible to cancel a subscription and will charge you after requesting cancellation. They won't offer any refunds either. Avoid the BS! If I could zero star them I would.

Brainety is a great platform for anyone looking to boost their cognitive abilities while having fun. It's easy to use and offers a wide range of games and programs to choose from.
As per the other 1 star reviews on this site I paid a one off £8.90 fee for an IQ test. The only correspondence I received from Brainety was a confirmation of my initial IQ test purchase and some account details to review my results. At no point did they inform me I has signed up for a free trial or a subscription. If they had I would have immediately cancelled it. A week later I was billed £79.80 via PayPal for a subscription I had not taken out. I immediately contacted PayPal to raise an unauthorised transaction dispute and Brainety to inform them of their mistake and ask for a refund. Brainety informed me they would respond through PayPal which they haven't done. PayPal were unable to intervene as the payment had gone through and their policy is that subscriptions do not fall under buyer protection. Clearly this is a loop hole Brainety are exploiting to steal money from peoples accounts.
Brainety have not replied to my other follow up emails asking for a response or resolution. Their website has no contact information regarding subscriptions. They just have a support email address to direct all enquiries. This site is clearly designed to be misleading and scam people for their details in order to take a subscription fee after initially paying for the results of a test in good faith.
I see they are responding on trustpilot to 1* reviews, probably in a bid to appear legitimate. Don't be fooled. I'll happily post a follow up review here if they refund my money and deliver a scrap of good customer service. Don't hold your breath folks ….

I took the IQ test and paid what it said would be $8 (as shown in the photo below 1x $8) I am extremely attentive and pay attention to details and it did not tell me anywhere that I was enrolling in an auto payment, I had no clue of it until the charge for $79.80 came through a week later, I'm fighting for my life and don't have the money for medical care, let alone companies that want to take advantage of people. DON'T BUY ANYTHING from BRAINETY as the are a total SCAM!
I returned to the website and they don't even have the same options on their website now, it has been completely changed after that first purchase so the $79.80 is not even available in any package, but also then you cannot see their shady ethics.

Do not pay for the test. They will charge you without you knowing that you "subscribed" to them. I paid $12 for the test and got my result, that's it. A couple days later I got an email saying that they had charged me $110.00 for the renewal. I did not recieve any emails regarding my trial or any subscription. I would not pay that amount of money monthly for tests. And now they don't want to refund me because I "failed" to cancel on time. They even said they were gonna refund me 50% but they never got back to me. If you ever pay for the test, make sure to check either your paypal to cancel that subscription that you probably don't know.
