I spent seven dollars on one test, they later charged me $80, without any notification, or any heads up before, and they refused to give me a refund, this is the worst website I have ever used. Never use this.

Im another unfortunate victim of the Brainety IQ test scam. I took an IQ test in which I had to pay 8.90 to see my results. I am almost positive that nowhere did it say I was also signing up for a subscription. There was no tiered pricing, and no breakdown of the purchase. I was sent an invoice of my purchase that only listed the IQ test. Again, no mention of a subscription. No reminder before the subscription started. A week later I was charged 79.80 for a year long subscription I had no idea about. I emailed to cancel and receive a refund the same day and was denied. Im still trying. Would love to know if anyone has been successful. 79.80 is an ABSURD amount of money. I understand why they have to scam people because who in their right mind would pay that much for something like this?

Awful app. Once you do a test, they offer you to purchase it, however, be aware that by entering your card details, they're subscribing you into a "Trial" which will take 80 USD from you after a few days. I noticed it only after I made a purchase, and then wrote them right away to cancel it.
However, the only thing I received from them is:
1) Send your email
2) Order number
3) Full name
I provided all the info they requested, except of the email - I simply don't remember it, as I used a dummy one, since I don't wanna receive any "marketing" stuff. I clearly said it to their support, but then they just refused to proceed as I haven't specified any email. What a fraud! There were no any info on their payment page, that it's REQUIRED to enter an actual email. Hence, I haven't used it.
To note, I provided all info they need: 1) 4 last digits of a card 2) Order number 3) Name on a card 4) order confirmation from my bank
However, after that they just said "SORRY CAN'T FIND IT" and start going back and forth with "send us your email"
As a result, I've been charged on May 16th, and only yesterday noticed it (I requested a cancellation right after "subscribing" on May 8th)
I've written them several emails already, hopefully they'll respond. Otherwise, I'll contact my bank to dispute this charge as it was made without my direct authorization (since I clearly requested a cancel)
I'll rewire my review once they respond, but as for now, they just stole my money

I signed up just out of interest for the trial period, didn't feel like it's sth I'd like to use on a daily basis, and forgot to cancel my trial. They charged me $79, and I emailed their customer support the same second asking them to cancel my subscription and refund me. Their robot told me the ETA is 24 hours, but they got back to me after 2 days and refused to refund me covering with their terms of service! Their response is attached.
It's so frustrating and disappointing that I played with the app barely an hour, decided that I don't like it, and forgot to cancel, and paid $79 for that experience!
That's not the customer service I'd like to see around me. In my opinion, if you want to grow, you should think about your reputation first, not the money, thus 1 star. For example, the company I'm working for have an opposite policy: we treasure our users, grant them free days when there's an argue and refund when necessary, so it's so unusual for me to see that some other company acts differently.
UPD: A representative of Brainety commented my review and asked to write to their support and provide a few details about the order. I did that, and they have refunded me the money! Thank you, Brainety! I hope you'll update your company support guidelines and start getting more positive feedback. As to me, I'm updating the rating as well to be fair.

I signed up for the 14 day trial, but before I could cancel my trial account, the Brainety site started misbehaving. The account credentials I had registered worked for 1 day, then stopped being recognized. I would attempt to login but would get an error message stating the credentials I'd entered didn't match what Brainety had on file. I reset my password once and was able to login by doing that, but then then next day the credential "did not match our records" again. Ultimately, I couldn't cancel my trial account because of the login issue. Unfortunately, I had entered my credit card information when I opened my Brainety account. I couldn't login to delete my credit card info, therefore, Brainety was able to deduct a $79.80 subscription fee when the 14 day trial ended. I contacted Brainety customer service on the same day I received the email notice about the $79+ charge Brainety had deducted from my account. I received a polite, detailed response from Brainety customer service explaining why they would not refund my money. At least they did cancel my subscription. I also asked Brainety customer service to delete my credit card information, to which this was their response: "Unfortunately, I am unable to facilitate the manual deletion of your credit card information. However, rest assured that our system has a built-in feature that automatically deletes all your personal data, including credit card information, within a month of your last use of the website." So, my credit card information is in their hands for another month! Long story short, don't fall for this Brainety scam! DON'T give Brainety your credit card information!

A few weeks ago, i paid $9 for an iq test, opting out of all extra services (i just wanted to do the test, no subscription)
They forced a $70 subscription on me, i have emailed multiple times to have it cancelled. When my bank declined the first charge, i tried going online to cancel it. Lo and behold, there is no account or subscription found with my email. I made an account just to cancel the subscription, but there is no easy cancellation. I emailed asking for my subscription to be cancelled, never heard back. I tried calling the phone number given on the site for support- and it only tells you to email them with questions! And then they took another $70 from me today! I have not used any of the services, and i want to let everyone know that this is a scam! There is no simple way to cancel your account and anyone saying support is helpful is dishonest- there is no support!

I have always had attention problems but after trying this program I have improved in that aspect. Train various abilities of your brain and neuroplasticity makes you improve, it's like going to the brain gym. Very good.You just have to be constant and train at least 1 hour a day to achieve results. In the first week I already felt more capable mentally!
