IT IS A SCAM! IT IS A FRAUD!
How they operate?!

Step 1: The Social Media Ad
It starts innocently enough—an eye-catching ad on Instagram or another social media platform, promising to reveal your IQ score after a simple test.

Step 2: The IQ Test
You decide to give it a try. The test seems straightforward, though it's hard to tell if it's scientifically valid.

Step 3: The Certificate Fee
After completing the test, you're asked to pay a fee to receive your official IQ certificate. It's tempting, and you decide to go for it.

Step 4: The Hidden Subscription
Here's the catch: by paying for the certificate, you are required to accept the Terms and Conditions. Buried within those terms and in that moment when your whole brain is focused on getting the certificate is a clause about a "trial period." After this period expires, you are automatically charged a substantial fee— $79 —on a recurring basis.

WORSE, there is NO ADVANCE NOTICE before the charge hits your account!

The Reality:
While such schemes may operate within the bounds of the law, they often exploit people's attention and emotional vulnerabilities. The lack of clear communication and the use of buried terms to enact recurring charges can make these schemes feel like scams, even if they are technically legal.

I tried to quite brainety.com during my trial period and it doesn't work. Now they have charged me 79 euros. Their app and the possibility to quite brainety.com doesn't work.

I paid $2.00 for an IQ test in which I did not sign up for any subscriptions, I "paid" the $2. Then within a week, I was in the shop buying food for the kids and there was not enough money in my account to pay for food. I keep a certain amount in my account every week for food and for rent. Brainety took approximately NZ$68 from my account without my permission. I never agreed to this amount being removed, nor was I aware of any subscription. I complained via email only to be told I would not be getting a refund. As this is theft, I am pursuing it further. First call of action is my bank is aware of them, and they will be pursuing them for a refund after 10 days. As I am aware of my rights with a criminological background, I will be taking this matter further if the money is not refunded. I will also be sharing this particular page with the police in the near future. No one else should be scammed like this. There are people like myself trying to get through a cost of living crisis. This is a crime...! A photo of what I was meant to (ONLY) be charged is included. Yes I got an invoice for that. I will be contacting Lithuania police as well.

Steer clear of this scam site. They will take money off your card each month. A criminal enterprise for sure.

I bought just the certificate for the fun of it for 2pounds and they pulled from my account £40 based on I dont know what subscriprion which I never intended!

I paid for the results of the IQ test but apparently when you do this, you are automatically subscribed for a monthly subscription costing 38.8 USD. I did not intentionally subscribe to anything. Just paid the 2 USD for the results so, somehow the sistem enrolls you without even asking you. Then, after some free trial period, if you do not cancel (which you don't cause you are not aware you have subscribed to anything), you receive an e-mail informing you that you have just paid 38.8 USD. When you ask for a refund, they tell you they cannot refund you since you benefited from their products. Being a digital company, I am absolutely sure they can check if you ever accessed any of their products but I assume, since I saw other people posting similar complaints, that this unintentional subscription is a source of income for them. What they do not realize is that it will be a short lived company with lots of disatisfied customers instead of building a long term profitable one. Hence the 1.9 score on reviews.

Used Brainety game then next thing I knew over £38.00 was removed from my paypall account to pay for a years subscription that I did not ask for.
Contacted them and they refused to refund
So my warning is KEEP CLEAR OF THESE CON MERCHANTS and keep your money safe.Dont have anything to do with these shisters,or better still ROBBERS

I use Brainety to give my brain a little mental exercise each day.This definitely helps to revive and bring my 49-year-old brain back into focus. I'm delighted I came across this. I like it a lot.

I haven't played such IQ games until I came across Brainety IQ game, these games are a top tier for its really healthy for your brain. Sure activities are really important for your brain stability and active traits. Its a YES FOR ME!

You do an IQ test and they promise you the result, but what they don't tell you is that they'll require your credit card before giving them to you. This is deceiptful and disgusting.

Please be advised that this is a scamming company. They lure you into a subscription. If you did the test for USD 2.16 you will be led to a series of choices: IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DONT TAKE THE OFFERS, AND DONT DOWNLOAD THE CERTIFICATE because it will enter you into a costly subscription. You may send a cancellation email immediately after doing the test just to be sure. I did only order the IQ test but nothing else, and immediately afterwards I sent the email. I hope I'm not charged but if I will I will update this post.
The real IQ test is at the end apparently... and that's how to not fall into the subscription trap.

They have no way of cancelling online and only have the support team that takes forever to reply via email! I highly recommend not using them! They are scamming and the tests aren't even that great!

DO NOT TRUST
Do not trust this site if you want to do an IQ test. I originally went to this site to do an IQ test, and it asked me to pay about $2 to see the results. I decided to make the small purchase to see my results.

About a week later, they took out another almost $40 USD from my Paypal account for a subscription that I was unaware I signed up for. I emailed Brainety support for a refund, they said they would open a Paypal investigation. It has been almost a month since that email, and I haven't received any updates and my follow up emails have been ignored.

Shame on Brainety for being sneaky thieves and don't be fooled if they give a reply to this comment, pretending to be "professional and supportive". They know what they are doing by tricking people out of their money, and Brainety please give me my refund, I will not take down this review. I will also post another review if no refund is received in a timely manner.

Also, shame on Paypal for allowing Brainety to use their platform to scam people.

- this is an absolute scam site. Do not use it. I happily paid them £8.75 for a so-called IQ test and as others have reported two days later I received a bill for £79 for an annual subscription to something I never ordered. Loads of links to their website - don't click on anything, don't login. Hopefully I have cancelled my credit card (whose details they have) before the money disappears. DON'T USE THEM AT ALL
