This is the 4th US freight forwarder I have used and they all have the same problem. When things go smoothly the service works well but when something goes wrong the wheels fall off. So far about 20% of parcels I have sent to a US freight forwarding service have problems of one kind or another. In this case i've been going back and forth with their live chat service for a parcel delivered by fedex and signed for by their staff. Each time they say I have to wait 24-48 hours for them to check with the warehouse. I've been waiting a week now for the simple message to be conveyed that they need to find a package but each time I have to go through the same information again and each time they raise a new ticket. In short unless you want a lot of stress in your life don't use Borderlinx. So far i've used ComGateway, Shopmate, Reship and Borderlinx and all have given me the same stresses. Now looking for a 5th option!

We always try to allocate the shipment on same day delivery- though it's not in real time as inbound shipments are processed only in the evening time after 2pm. As such, by end of day you can expect all the items allocated to respective suite and customers are sent automatic notification once the system is updated.

The delay is unfortunate. What is your Suite number or Ticket ID so we can investigate. Apologies for the delay and inconvenience.

Worst service ever
November 4, 2016

This is the crappiest service ever. I recommend to never use this and look for an alternative.

My package was delivered to their warehouse more than two weeks ago already with a tracking number showing who signed for the package. And up until now, they can't seem to find my package. I have contacted customer service countless times and every time they tell me that they contacted the warehouse team and should be getting a reply shortly. I requested to get a call back several times so I can speak to somebody but they never seem to care to call.

This has been the worst experience in my life so far. I have had packages forwarded with other companies with the address even not written properly from the shipper but they never failed to show up in my account. It is clear to me that they are unprofessional and probably lost or stole my package as nobody can seem to give an answer as to what is causing the delay.

Dear Muhanned, Truly sorry for this unfortunate incident. Please provide your Ticket reference number and will look into the issue to have it resolved on priority.

All delivered packages are updated same day and the customer is notified through an email of the same. Therefore, such incident is very rare and unfortunate. Apologies again for the inconvenience caused.

Stay away from these guys at all costs. Despite the impressive website, they're in fact a bunch of incompetents and a hoax. They run promotions via their own website to get you in and then claim the promo codes have expired and you're uneligilble to claim them. Customer service is lazy and unresponsive. I regret having ever used them and urge you not to bother.

I love shopping my favorite brands online and I do it on a regular basis. When I relocated to Singapore, I was worried that I wont be able to do this anymore. Im glad I discovered Borderlinx. Its convenient, safe, and the rates are reasonable.

This is the first time we have purchased on-line and we will do it again. II had never done it because we found some difficulties in paying to the sellers... some of them never accept our UK card. We learnt about the concierge service that borderlinx offers and decided to give it a try. I sent them the info they needed to buy the items we wanted and in less than a week they informed me that they had received the shipment and I had to pay. It is not cheap but it is no expensive if we take into account the quality of the service. In 3 days we got the clothes! We are planning to purchases again, and we will definitely use Borderlinx.

Horrible service

I have already contacted you around 9 times, and it is clear that you have sent my package to someone else and you are waiting for it to return, but you are not honest enough to admit it. It has been around two weeks now. SO FRUSTRATED

I totally agree with other reviews. Such bad experience and I completely regret using their service. They basically lost my package and kept lying about it telling me that the problem was solved and to check my account to confirm. And every time I contact them back they say please allow 1-2 days and NOTHING happens.

Once they actually sent shoes (that were supposed to go to a different country!) to one of my friends instead of some vitamin pills!

Demeaning service.

Our family has been getting shipments from the US to Singapore every single month, sometimes more than once a month, for the past three years (well over 50 shipments) and we never got any single incident to report, delivery was always timely.
The amount of negative reviews on the site shocked me and the first thing that crossed my mind was wether some of these were not the making of disgruntled competitors operating a smearing campaign.
So maybe we are an exception…maybe not, in any event Borderlinx's service has been flawless and downright fantastic for the past three years in a row. In fact we switched from another provider (we won't name him) who deserves the negative reviews on this site for its horrible service between the US and Singapore. From the UK or US to other destinations I would not know but to Singapore, just stop thinking and go for Borderlinx.

Scam site

Hello, after the lock my account for merchant report and after i prove that the payment was authorized from my card and no fraud about the transactions they was preparing the package to return to merchant without getting back to me, 4 days and live support asking for another day, and still no reply from this useless security department.
They are returning the items to merchant and not letting me to get the other items from another merchant and 4 bus days + 2 weekend and still no reply!
Will you really trust a site like this?
A site when you face serious problem on it the support say we can't help you only something called security department can help and they don't even talk?
It was the first time to me here and it will be the last and i will tell everyone i know never work with a site like this, and i will share all of this on the INTERNET.

Please settle the issue directly with Bhphotovideo.

For the last two months, Borderlinx has been giving me a harrowing and torrid time. 3 of my apparel purchases had been successfully sent to and received by a staff from Borderlinx at the Ohio address as confirmed by the stores that I had contacted. But each time, Borderlinx will say that they have no idea where the packages are! And it has been weeks and months and they still have no idea where the packages are. All the live chat agents tell you are the same obnoxious response that the warehouse team team will look into them. This is tantamount to ransom. I hope the authorities will look into this and not let such malpractices go on unnoticed!

Had two shipments from this company. First one, they lost one of my things, told me that it wasn't their fault, finally accepted it was their fault and then have been "investigating the issue" for the last (nearly) month.

Second shipment, they grossly overcharged me for the tax and customs. I accept that I should have checked more thoroughly but there we go. The customer service rep lied to me repeatedly, and then when I pointed out the lies tried to cover up those lies with more lies. Didn't receive invoice. Received invoice but had to estimate value anyway. Said they sent me an email to check the estimated value and amend if necessary. Oh, they didn't send the email? Well then I should have checked it myself because I should have known that the value was estimated.

Could not be more disgusted by this company's attitude. Steer WELL clear.

In the event a shipment is delivered at our warehouse without the invoice or this is not visible, our warehouse has to estimate the value of the items. We are unable to make any changes to a shipment once it is released by you. Kindly contact us for such changes before releasing the items as we update all the information for your reference. One of my best experience with Borderlinx that I ordered a medical kit through Borderlinx. The kit actually had some item that was not allowed to ship across. Instead of simply refusing the whole kit shipment, on my request Borderlinx offered to remove prohibited item and shipped rest of the kit. I am impressed with such a flexible service they have. They might be on costlier side some time but remember... there is DHL behind who is the best to ship your goods... I am really a happy customer and woul highly recommed Borderlinx!

They damaged a vintage sewing pattern that I had finally found after years of searching, by slashing the envelope open with a box cutter! The pattern is completely worthless, now, yet they neglected to mention they damaged it, and sent it on to me. When i contacted them about this matter, they told me there was nothing they would do about it as they would have reported the damage to me if they had caused it. No-one else could have caused this damage, let me tell you! Rip-off, unreliable morons - please do NOT use this despicable company.

Dear David, The hub is managed by professionals and such incidents are extremely rare. In many cases, the packages are opened and inspected by customs officer and such incidents can occur in transit as well. Unfortunately, any issue in transit is beyond our control; reason why we do offer our customers the Safetylinx insurance which cover the complete item price and shipping fee paid to Borderlinx. Any similar incident at the warehouse, if at all, is highlighted and considered as internal incident leading to direct refund. We understand some items are of high personal value, however, we cannot replace such items. Any eventuality of loss/damage in transit, which are again very rare, will be settled as claim as per the procedure. Regret any inconvenience caused. Regards

Because my dad also had an account they blocked my account. Had to send in my ID which i did yet they don't do anything about it.
Avoid this garbage company, they refuse to help. All positive comments are straight up made by borderlinx staff themself. Disgrace that i have to write it here. Hopefully they will see this and decide to actually freaking help me out. I will change this to a positive feedback if they decide to help me out.

I just had my first and last shipment for two boots both coast me USD123. And imagine the shipping coast from borderlinx after entering promotion code of %15 is ((( USD 150))).

Come on are you serious!

Note for Borderlinx:

There is no any justification for that much of coast, so please save the effort and go back to and change your policy or by short time you'll have no customers.

It's not my fault that you deal with DHL you can give the customer other reasonable options like USPS less coast, even if it take long time at the end it's my decision.

What added value you've gave me when the shipping coast is higher than the 2 items itself. I can wait for one month I'm not in a hurry!

I've tried BedaBox much better, I just wanted to give you a try and I badly regret it.

Unlike local shipping, international shipping is calculated based on the heavier of dead weight or on the volumetric weight. Many customers may over look the size of the package when they purchase and are surprised when the shipping cost is more then they have expected. Unfortunately, that's how any courier handling international shipment will calculate the shipping cost.
Reason why we also provide our customers a wonderful tool, the online Cost Calculator to get an estimate before purchasing. As you can check anytime, the tool clearly mention the that outer box weight and dimensions are crucial in getting a fair estimate.
Also, Borderlinx mode of shipment delivery is Delivery Duty Paid (DDP). The service enable you to pay upfront all the cost including shipping, duty/tax and we handle the paperwork and clearance at customs on your behalf. Therefore, there is absolutely no surprises on delivery with hidden charges etc. nlike local shipping, is based on the heavier of dead/real weight or on the volumetric/dimensional weight.

Contacted company 3 times and had 3 tickets raised about item with verified tracked delivery via USPS with statements saying Id be contacted within 1-2 days. Ive had zero response. I raised a 4th query today and told I will escalate to warehouse. No answers. Ive used this company a number of times before and been happy but now the trust, which is the most important factor for a company getting YOUR PARCELS has completely gone. I recommend not to use this company & I never will again.

They would not ship my item as they claimed an item was prohibited (out of 2 items!) and would not tell me which. They would not allow me to ship it back & charge my credit card and only if paid via Penpal. There help desk just wrote back pasting part of their agreements. This company is a bad, expensive and incompetent.

Hello Babar, Sad to know that your purcahsed item is prohibited. Though we try to provide an extensive list of items/categories that are restricted per import/export regulations and safety regulations per IATA's, we regret the situation.

Misleading "express shipment" method, a dhl rep. Just assured me that they only have one account with them and all that borderlinx does is process the papers faster! Dhl delivery time is the same! They want you to believe that they are shaving a few days while it is actually the same process!

I'm leaving on holiday this Saturday without my new computer because I payed extra for express shipping and it will be delivered in SIX DAYS INSTEAD OF TWO!

Long time customer here, I really felt betrayed.

Back to my old trustworthy service.

The shipping charge said there will be no additional charges other than the shown price $44 USD of my item (pair of runners) then chaged me additional $30 USD as "tax" and "duty". I paid for the tax when I purchased the shoes and the listed shipping cost was supposed to include the additional charges, but it charged me for taxes and duty again. I feel ripped off. Won't use them again.

Hello Nathaniel, Appreciate the feedback but there is apparently a confusion. The tax you pay to seller/merchant is a local tax. When you ship from Borderlinx, you're required to pay the import duty/tax as applicable per the customs of your country. This is different then the local sales tax you pay to the seller/merchant.

The duty/taxes we pre-charge is handed over to customs during clearance of the items which we do it on your behalf. This is to ensure a more hassle free and enjoyable shopping experience to you.

Additionally, our cost calculator given on the website will always estimate the shipping cost including the duty/tax as applicable to your country. We absolutely believe in transparent, fair and prompt service to our customers.

Lost a package delivered to Borderlinx by Royal Mail. Borderlinx did everything possible to deny receipt and continually blamed the customer. Refused to accept details of Royal Mail tracking system and refused to phone or visit the Royal Mail delivering post office which is 4 minutes from their depot to verify. Too lazy to help in the slightest.! Expect a customer 12,000 miles away to solve Borderlinx problems.

I paid about $120 for shipment of goods worth about $110 I ordered from Amazon which should have been the first red flag. I never saw one of two packages that were released for shipment. It was never picked up from the hub by a courier for a month now despite having the tracking number assigned. I can't claim refund as Borderlinx claims that package was never, technically, lost so it's impossible to claim refund. They also can't do anything to send the package that is supposed to be at the hub for a month, waiting there for a courier. Don't use this service.
