At the onset, the price is ridiculous. It's worth almost as much as the item to be shipped. But I thought, it's okay I just want a reliable courier service. Boy was I wrong! Not to mention that the package was delivered more than a week pass the expected day of delivery, the local courier asked me for an additional 3,480 Yen! That's on top of the enormous amount already charged to me by Borderlinx. So NO! Borderlinx is expensive, inefficient, and a SCAM!

Thank you for your feedback and sorry to know that your experience wasn't that great while using our services. We can assure you that all deliveries are fulfilled within 2-3 business days via our Experss shipping, and 4-6 business days via the Standard shipping. Occassionally, customs office in destination country may hold the items for extended period which can delay the deliveries. Unfortunately, such delays are not within our control nor DHL, as we cannot expedite or interfere in the matters of customs.

In regards to the extra charges, all our shipments are shipped as Delivery Duty Paid (DDP), which means you pay the shipping, duty/tax (as applicable) upfront to Borderlinx, and we will prepare the customs paper and clear the customs on your behalf, and you do not have to pay any charges on delivery. This is in line to provide you with a completely hassle free shopping experience through our services.

In very rare cases, due to mis-communication with local DHL, you might be asked to pay the duty/tax again. However, we'll always take such issue promptly and will coordinate with local DHL to clear the shipment at no extra cost to you.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any delay and inconveneince caused.

I had shipped two items with this company with no issue even though I thought their prices were a bit expensive. I ordered a third item at the end of May and then receive a email saying due to issues with their delivery service (DHL) they could no longer forward items. They said they are working on a solution to sending items already in route. They received my package on June 8,2018 and it is now August 2,2018. I have been chatting with them almost every day and have been receiving the same "canned" response, and most recently they have been telling me to find another shipper who will pick up the package and they will refund my money (including stupid handling fee for something that is their fault), I even have them on chat saying this however now that I have found a shipper to pick up the package, there chat does not work and they are not responding to email. I do not know what to do at this point. I hope that this review would prompt others (possibly in the UK) to find their warehouse and send the police there because at this point they are stealing my merchandise.The items I purchased were expensive and one of a kind and losing out on them is disheartening.

Very much happy with their service. I was looking for a pro audio SSD recorder, and had several choices from local stores to European on-line or international trough Borderlinx. Thanks to their total cost calculator, It was very easy to have a rough idea of what it would cost. So I ordered trough Amazon US, got it delivered to Borderlinx address. No surprise: the costs were exactly what was announced. Got it delivered three days later. Brilliant service.

Basically, have had plenty of bad experiences with these guys. But this one beats the rest. Borderlinx basically packed a really small item in a massive box to charge me ridiculous amounts on the shipping! Just when shipping is based on volume! When I asked them to repack, they said they cant! Proof is attached too. These guys are a bunch of con men. All of them working there!

I used Borderlinx for the first time to ship goods from UK. I was doubtful in the beginning but it turned out to be a very good international shopping experience. Smooth and quick delivery of my goods. Customer services is very helpful and friendly as well.

I'll certainly recommend it to my friends.

I have used Borderlinx professionally several times, and the service and reliability has dramatically changed since they moved to a newer warehouse. It takes longer and longer for a package signed off for to be added to a suit (up to 8 days) and my last shipment still is not send after being released 2 weeks ago.
The worst is that they do not inform you of the situation, customer service is a joke with standard answers and no help at all and claims or compensations can supposedly only be made when the goods have arrived or the goods are lost by the forwarder (DHL). In this case the goods are still somewhere at Borderlinx, but nobody can tell me where.
I have no information to give to my customers, I lost money on this and I can't get any true help from Borderlinx.

Save yourself time, money, and frustration. This site seems to be legit but they are quick to not disclose ridiculous company policies in order to get your money. I understand the notion of "buyer beware" but this company lacks all standard business ethics.

A very dirty company play very dirty game! Look the overall review! 27 (5 stars) VS 77 (1 star---the worst)!

They actually will never post any items. They are stealing your things. They keep you items as hostage asking you pay endless bills!

Keep away from this $#*! company!

Borderlinx wants two times more than an international shipment for a local hub. Didn't ever answer my questions on time, missed the period for returning the item to seller and finally disposed the item.

Ordered an Ipod touch, boxed in certified 32lbs/inch edge crush test packaging from merchant but Borderlinx put it in plastic DHL envelope and then charged me $60 based on the envelope size and said the original packaging was not suitable. I have sent several emails including images but they are just basically ignored. $#*!ty customer service and generally a dodgy way of doing business. Going back to Shop n Ship with Aramex!

Like many other customers, Borderlinx is leading me to nervous breakdown. After receiving my package on the 22nd of sept, they still haven't registered it to my suite. The Customer Service on online chat proved completely powerless (what can they do if they don't have any updates) simply because the warehouse team is not following up or just not doing their job well enough. Sure they gave me a $15 sorry promo code, but after almost three weeks of waiting and more coming, I am appalled by the weakness of their logistics team. Reading all the feedback on this website made me deeply regret trusting them with my packages. I still hope I will get them by 2018 though although I'm now afraid they get bankrupt anytime soon...

The current situation is an absolutely one-off incident. Being humane, things do not always go as planned like the recent warehouse move. The delay in operations was unexpected which resulted to subsequent backlog and we continue to work hard to clear it and be upto date.

COUNTERFEIT WEBSITE

Beware! Do not use this website I repeat BEWARE! I used the service twice. The first time my items were in holding for 3 weeks & then they were finally sent at a premium price in separate boxes (?!) and more expensive than the original merchants international shipping costs. My second order has been in holding for TWO MONTHS. I had zero communication from the company or customer service only automated messages from robots: we will get back to you with an update in 1-2 business days. No update. Called their number, emailed every email address I coul find. Nothing. DO NOT send your property to this warehouse. My guess is that they resell our merchandise on the black market/eBay and never give customers any answers. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I wish someone had warned me about this website before I flushed my money down the drain.

I used Borderlinx to forward packages from few US retailers and it always worked as advertised. I started using their UK, Germany and Hong Kong hubs nowadays. I receive promo codes monthly from 10% to 20%.

I used their concierge to book my oculus and delivered on time. Great service.
They even waived my Storage fees once. Helpful customer service

Easy to use, great shipping rates, and email notifications on each step of the arrival & dispatch of my packages.

I read many bad reviews about the company. Personally these people except cheap service and find the cost is high. I ship at-least 20 shipments in a month, which saves me a lot. Free repacking, free consolidation, no registration fees, promo codes and 30 days free storage. Don't except more when they give many things freely.

Would give 0 if possible. Worst shopping experience ever. Company policy is send it ALL back or destroy items cant just return the one item that is wrong (bought several items off Amazon.com). Customer support is in India so takes forever to get responses and they actually cant help with anything they then have to relay messages to the warehouse in USA or UK. Shipping charges are very high (watch the volumic weight nonsense they sting you on that. If estimated goods are over $250 they force a $10 insurance fee on you. Items took a long time to arrive. Taking by business elsewhere suggest you save yourself the grief and do the same.

Fraud

They opened my packages possibly damaging them as I read from the other reviews and made up false values. 10 vs 50 for baby clothes. Now expect me to pay for taxes they should not collect in the first place since even the Customs Agency told it was tax free. I am contacting the police because of the fraud. And want to get the package away from them and refuse their services, but they denied. If anyone wants to file a collective lawsuit against them email me:*******@hotmail.com!

Dear Liisa,

Please be advised that we will estimate the value of the items only incase the items has arrived to our warehouse without the seller invoice and we didn't know its price. Therefore, our hub team would put an estimated value as its mandatory for customs and to enter in our system. In such a situation, we inform our customers through the email notification stating that the item price has been estimated as there was no invoice with it, and we highlight the shipment as well so the customer is aware and can see when they login to their Borderlinx account.

In such a case you simply need to contact the support team with the seller invoice and they can make necessary correction immediately.

In reference to the case duty/tax, our system is updated and is correct. All duty/tax billed to you is paid during customs clearance in your country on your behalf. This amount is passed on to customs and do not go to Borderlinx. Should there be any discrepancy in the amount billed or the percentage applied for the item you purchased, you can share proving official document/customs website for further review.

For any damage/loss of items you can always contact our claims department at claims@borderlinx.com. All such matters are handled on highest priority and due diligence. Unable to comment on your particular case but please be informed that incase the hub team damage anything during the inspection of your items, it will be clearly marked in your account and will notify you of the same.

Its been 5 days now since the shipment is received at Dayton OH hub. No one in customer service has a response for the delay. My client has already charged me delay fine of $200. I regret for the decision taken to ship it through Borderlinx. Guys please do not fall in tonthis trap. The company is unorganized and can unprofessional in this business. Stay away from Borderlinx.

I was shocked to read from this other review from a guy who trusted you and he was told to pay 300 dollars for something that costed 50 dollars. Thieves!

Terrible Service

I ordered an item for the first time with Borderlinx, and now never again. It takes them 2 days to update that they have even received a parcel, they increase the weight and dimensions, provide only the most expensive delivery method, and unable to re-pack the same even though the website mentions it.
When contacted, they take days and days to respond back! Terrible service!

I used their service 2 years ago to get amazon kindle, it only cost me 12$ back then. Now, i want them to ship a raspberry pi(about same size as kindle), they want to charge me 42$. Plus, they ask 50$ to return the items to amazon.

Long story short, don't use it or you will regret it.
