However, please note that we are always staying in touch with the carriers and our local post offices and during current circumstances, we also carefully monitor the delivery process so that we could take certain measures and/or notify our customers. It appears that due to huge amounts of incoming mail the mail carrier does not scan the packages at each location, provides updates in the tracking system with a certain delay or may simply deliver shipments without any updates in the tracking system. An utterly terrible experience. I was sent a book that was rated "GOOD" instead the book was was covered on EVERY PAGE with yellow, read, blue and purple underlining. The book was barely legible. I sent THREE messages to BR to discuss this junky book and to receive a refund on this $15 purchase BUT RECEIVED NO RESPONSE. ABE BOOKS also reached out to BR and RECEIVED NO RESPONSES!
Finally after almost THREE WEEKS of waiting to resolve a lousy $15 purchase ABE went ahead and issued me a refund.
BooksRun is a dishonest and duplicious merchant and I would Never buy from you again. If ABEBOOKS had any backbone they should remove you as a seller on their website. Will anybody at BR even seriously read this review?

The good: I ordered a book from Booksrun via Abebooks. It arrived a few days later, as advertised, at a surprisingly modest cost.
The bad: I received multiple email messages from Sitejabber saying Booksrun would like my feedback. While I thought they meant "let us know how we did", apparently they really meant "please leave us a review". When I realized I was leaving a review, I felt deceived and annoyed. A neurotypical would just delete the message without a second thought, but it's taking up a slice of my precious, shrinking "mindspace"
(And I'm so over proving I'm not a robot by inspecting tiny low resolution images.)

I was about to miss a flight connection and when I got to the front of the plane I realized I had left my Chinese textbook in the seat pocket! Not being able to fight the crowd to get back to it or wait until everyone had gotten off the plane to get it, I ran to my next flight and barely made it. As I sat waiting to take off on this next flight, I ordered another textbook from BooksRun. It was a great price, the book arrived in amazing condition, and I never missed a beat in my studies because it arrived very quickly! Great experience! Thank you!

I sent a book that got approved per the ISBN number inside the book. I was quoted an amount and agreed to that. They got the book and decided they wanted to use the ISBN number on the back when the one inside the front cover was approved on the site. They re-quoted $4 for the very expensive and brand new book. It was just a way for them to get the book and then turn it to spend less money. Then I had to pay for shipping to get the book back because I refuse to accept $4 for a $300 new book. Their phone number does not work so don't bother calling if you have issues. It's some type of automated thing that hangs up on you. You can submit a complaint online, but they won't respond until the transaction is complete. How convenient for them. Terrible terrible company.
