Update - the business reached out to me to offer a discount to compensate for the damaged book. I do appreciate that, and i believe this was a shipping issue not a fault of the company - however, had they used a box to ship the book, rather than a bag with no protection like bubble wrap; i believe this would not have happened. I also think this is an issue that someone else might also encounter going forward if books are shipped only in a thin plastic bag for shipping
Purchased an almost $90 out of print book. Was shipped in a thin bag with no bubble wrap or protection. Packaged arrived ripped open and book damaged. Extremely disappointed.
