I had a terrible experience with BookMyShow recently. I booked tickets for an 18+ movie (Dhurandhar) at PVR Cinemas, and at no point during the booking process did I see any clear or visible pop-up warning that minors are not allowed. Because of this, PVR denied entry to me and my son at the auditorium. It was embarrassing, disappointing for my child, and completely avoidable if BookMyShow had displayed proper age-restriction information clearly.

To make things worse, BookMyShow's customer support was unhelpful and dismissive. Instead of acknowledging the issue, they simply claimed that a pop-up was shown something I definitely did not see and then refused to provide a refund. Their live chat support was equally frustrating; I waited for almost an hour, and no agent ever connected.

A platform this widely used should prioritize clear communication, transparency, and responsible customer support. Unfortunately, BookMyShow failed on all fronts in this experience.

I hope they improve their booking interface and customer service, but based on this incident, I'm extremely disappointed and will think twice before using BookMyShow again.

Don't pay them anything because everything you give them will be complete waste of money. Customer support phone number is fake. No refunds accepted. Scam!

Very bad tried to get India tickets stayed in line for 4 hours then saying SOLD OUT BUT THEY PROBABLY SELLED THERE TICKETS TO THERE FRIENDS AND FAMILY

I have been purchasing tickets from BMS for many years, but I was not aware that they are not sensitive enough to safety and security concerns. As usual, I booked the ticket for a movie, and there is tension in Gurgaon, and Section 144 has been imposed. Companies are getting shut down so that people can reach home safely. I request that BMS CC cancel or modify the date of the show. So I got a reply that we haven't received any news from multiplexes. And I should talk to Multiplex directly. If I have to do this, then I will buy from their app directly. Why do I need your app? There is news all around about the situation, but these people don't care about safety. For money, these people can risk your life. I'm not sure why you're charging for convenience when you don't care about your customer.

Never use this website, it the worst. Poor service and bad management team. I have called them hundreds times and also emailed them but no use. They are my worst experience.

I booked a movie tickets but due to heavy rainfall we can't watch the movie so I decided to cancel the tickets but the app not working proper there is some issue in your BookMyShow's app I'm really disappoint your agent not helping me as well I really want my money back paise ped me nhi ugte kamane padhte h bhyi ese chori ka kb tak khaoge mai tweeter me bhi tweet krungi or sbko btaungi never use this cheapest app your for booking tickets same on you guys you all are worst bad experience

We have booked a show for jokoy in dubai, UAE that supposed to take place last may 2022. However due to unfortunate event the show was cancelled and their team informed by email for refund. Since May 2022 until now they didn't refund the money, they are not calling us on the same, the customer care hotline number is not working. I used live chat ayush and not helpful telling that they will revert only by email.

Now they are posting the show of jokoy again collecting money from the customers again and not refunding yet the money back to us. This is really disappointing. Take money again and not being responsible for the refund.

Kindly do not use them. As they are fraud unfortunately.

I've been receiving marketing emails from BookMyShow on my email which i never gave to BookMyShow. I unsubscribe from the emails but i still keep getting them. Like this i've unsubscribed multiple times, but the emails keep coming. I shared all of this to BookMyShow customer care email. Ticket #*******. BookMyShow replied telling me that i can unsubscribe by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in the promotional emails. I'm telling them that the unsubscription isn't working but they are telling me the procedure to unsubscribe. I reply back saying "Yes i've already done that multiple times but still have been receiving promotional emails from BookMyShow.". Guess what do they reply? Same thing - They again tell me the procedure to unsubscribe.

Now iam trying to book my RRR movie ticket from two days what tha $#*!ing is happening with your app haa.?

For 2 sec tickets are enabled and after 1 sec i can see they are disabled... for two days this is happening continuously and iam trying from atleast 24 hrs continuously atleast 100 times to book 3 tickets... is not done yet bcz... you are enabling tickets for 1 sec and disbling for 1 hour what is this $#*! is this game or what...
Release if you what booking or shut ur app don't make us fools.

If it is not ur fault please $#*! your respective theatre's who are causing these issue because they are not giving chance to common people to book tickets in their theatre bcz they are selling it personally and enabling when they need and disabling them...

How we common people need to book tickets tell me

Mr Andna, who is from management team, has no sense of talking and politeness with his customers. Just only 20 seconds ago booking made incorrectly and the theatre has no other seats booked still he didnt change anything. He was advising me to sell this tickets in black market. Piece of $#*! bookmyshow and its employeess. Only trying to rip of people. You guys should grow up and at least learn something successful model companies from abroad.

Most of the time payment gateway fails! Money gets stuck for 2-3 days(if credit card), 15-20 days (for debit card) & for any other wallets (congratulations), your money probably is not coming back!

Actually in weekends the number of users is excessively high which they can't handle. They need to the improve the website when it comes to load distribution or payment gateway!

I really wonder why they charge extra apart from movie ticket prices, where service is so poor!
