My experience was the same as Mandy B. I had to cancel my credit card and inform the fraud people. My room was cancelled 2 days before we arrived. I have tried to contact the organisation but with no success, and the money has already been taken. Phone calls and e-mails have proved unsuccessful. Do not, I repeat do not, use this website as it is bad news. When we spoke to the hotel staff they informed us that a number of people had also experienced the same problem. RD

My experience was the same as Mandy B. I had to cancel my credit card and inform the fraud people. My room was cancelled 2 days before we arrived. A total fraud. We booked two separate hotels in London and had the bookings canceled by Bookinhotels. We have never had our money refunded by them. I even went to the trouble of double checking with the hotels prior to arriving that they had the booking (which they did) but this was subsequently canceled just prior to our arrival. Total fraud - DO NOT USE THEM!

DO NOT BOOK WITH BOOKINHOTELS! I got scmmed by them, as well, they'd cancelled my fully prepaid room booking two days before arriving at the hotel. Luckily, the hotel still had rooms available, but at much higher cost. I had to reclaim my money via my credit card company, as bookinhotels never responded to any of my emails, or neither did they pick up their phone on their hotline. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM, IT'S A SCAM!

As we have read from others, we booked a hotel on this site for a month down the road. We canciled it a few days later, revieved a cancilation confermation. After some time we did not get a refund. Multiple e-mails and a fraud complaint to my card company got us no where. You can't call them. When we e-mailed, they sent us back some standard response. It seems they pulled our chain long enough to get past our card companys fraud investigation dead line. Don't use this site. They will keep your money.

At the moment i think this website is a scam job. Booked accommodation in bali in may 2009 for October 28th 2009 only to arrive at hotel to be told accommodation had been cancelled in sept. As no money had been paid. Luckily they had some accommodation we could have but had to repay the hotel the whole amount. After numerous emails and unanswered phone calls without success I would not recomment anyone use this site.

Seems they have conned us all in the same way. Booked hotel stay a year in advance. They cancelled 2 days before arrival. No reason why and no offer of alternative accomodation. They don't refund the money and they never answer the phone or emails. You might aswell throw your money down the toilet

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! MY COMPLAINT EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE ABOVE COMPLAINTS. WE HAD BOOKED DUBLIN APARTMENTS TO COINCIDE WITH A CONCERT. BOOKINHOTELS TOTALLY RUINED THE WEEKEND AS WE WHERE LEFT WITH NOTHING. DEFINITELY A SCAM, WAS ADVISED I WOULD BE REFUNDED THEN THEY SEEMED TO DISAPPEAR OF THE FACE OF THE EARTH! MY CREDIT CARD HAD BEEN SINCE USED FRAUDULENTLY... NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

I cancelled a booking back in July as we had to postpone our travel due to ill health. I was happy to book same hotel again but the same hotel was unavailable. Bookinhotels acknowledged my cancellation and told me a refund would be given in 10-15 days. I am still waiting. I keep emailing and nobody answers my emails. I will never book through this company again.

Domt touch this site I booked Marriott Sydney and like so many others the booking was cancelled two weeks before we were due to book in and no refund

Marriott Hotel never had my reservation from Bookinhotels.com They took my money and I could not get them via phone call, fax or email to find out what happened.

This company cancelled my hotel booking which we'd paid for in full just 11 days before we were due to travel to Glasgow and have not given me a full refund as promised.

Bookinhotels are a fraud and are stealing people's money! We experienced the same thing as the other published reviews. When we arrived at our hotel we found our reservations to be cancelled without our authority. They have never refunded our money. (approx. $1200) We have written dozens of "complaint" emails and when we call the "customer service" number we get a recording from a person in a foreign language. We are frustrated and we are victims of fraud! We are contacting the Better Business Bureau and reporting them. Never do business with Bookinhotels.com!

In June last year I booked & paid for hotel rooms in Austria via Bookinhotels.com. Fortunately 3 weeks before departing Australia I tried to confirm my bookings at the hotels involved, only to be told no bookings had been made. Like other "victims" I have not been able to get any response to email etc to them. I have my bank & our Federal Police investigating this corupt organisation. If you have any information that may get this site closed down & the indivuals behind it identified so they can not set up again on a new site please pass it on to your local authority and request they investigate. The more authorities that are involved the better the chance of sucess. These people are criminals preying on trusting people ( like me) that do not know that this great SiteJabber exists.

Bookinhotels.com is a FRAUD. They take you money as soon as you book a hotelroom but don't forward the booking to the hotel. Then after a while they send you a mail that your booking has been cancelled due to 'financial issues'. I checked with the hotel and they had never even received my booking! Now I'm still waiting for my refund.
Also: after my booking someone tried to charge 550 dollars from my credit card. Coincidence? I think not. I reported this to my credit card company and they're investigating it as credit card fraud.
Do not trust bookinhotels.com!

Booked a Sydney hotel in back in May for a 6 night stay over New Year. Shortly before arriving we received an email advising us that our stay had been cancelled due to 'financial issues' etc. When we rang the hotel, we were informed that the booking had, in fact, been cancelled in September. We were extremely fortunate to find alternative accommodation at the busiest time of year and having to book so late. Nevertheless, we had to pay much more for our 6 nights because of the late booking and of course we had already paid Bookinhotels for the same period. Needless to say our money has not been refunded although they promised to do so. Emails are not answered and neither is the phone. Clearly, this is a fraudulent company and people need to be aware that they book up with them at their own peril. I have written to 'Watchdog' about this company, but I am dismayed to see that as I write they are still active on the internet. Avoid them like the plague.

Booked holiday to Boston with this Jammy site had to cancell 4months beforhand that was in april waited and waired sent e mails kept them all just as well as the credit card company were able to get my money back for me 1 week before the start date of canncelled holiday if you go to your bank before the holiday is due to start they can intervene I was luky gor my 2,000 e back never never will i book with these guys again

Arrived at a hotel i booked through this site to find they would not honour my booking as book in hotels had trouble paying the money they owed to them. Have sent lots of e-mails requesting my money back and still haven't received it. Avoid this website like the plague.

FRAUD! DON'T USE THIS SITE. I HAVE CANCELLED MY HOTEL RESERVATION IN SEPTEMBER DUE TO SKYEUROPE'S BANKRUPTCY (FLIGHTS CANCELLED).
I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY BACK AND OF COURSE NOBODY REPLIES TO MY EMAILS, COMPLAINTS OR CALLS.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE. ITS A FRAUD!

Do not touch this website with a bargepole. They are disgusting. They take your money then cancell your hotel two days before your due to go, and no refund, i paid in march to go for a two night stay in glasgow in august it was my freinds 40th, they cancelled my booking two days before we were to go, and im still waiting for them to refund my money. I have emailed them at least six times, i have phoned and you get someone on the line who does not speak english, and i have faxed them all to no avail. Please please do not use them.

Do not book a hotel with this site. We booked a Sydney Hotel for the New Year last June and paid over £7OO for 5 nights accommodation, This company cancelled our reservation a week before. We have been promised a full reund. E. mails are not responded to and the telephone number does not work anymore. A trip of a lifetime to celebrate out 25th Wedding Anniversary was nearly ruined. We had booked a Night out for New Year's Eve and were probably not going to find any where to stay at such short notice at this time of year. Luckily, the hotel had not rebooked our room but we ended up paying twice for our stay. This is pure fraud and I can not contact this company to get my money back. This site must be removed and not allowed to continue to swindle innocent people.

We have just returned from a trip to Florida we booked two seperate hotels one for four nights when we arrived only one night had been paid for and the other hotel had no information on our booking even though we had paid do not use this website if it seems to good to be true don't use it

I used this website to book my hotel for 1 wk in August when I arrived at the hotel my reservation was cancelled as they never paid for it. I am down a lot of money and they won't respond to any of my emails and won't answer there phone. I don't understand how they can still be operating - There must be a way to shut them down?

DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING ON THIS SITE. Many people, including myself, have lost money and had endless grief after using this site. Book a hotel on this site at your peril.
