Booked 6 nites but when we arrived at the hotel the price dropped but they refused to match the price, they expect the customer to take a screen shot, it was never disclosed in their website. The site to list a property just doesn't work. Some how I was able to get my property on the site after multiple attempts. I wish I hadn't. The one and only booking I got turned out to be fraudulent. The people who showed up in my unit didn't even know who had book the apartment. I didn't get a dime from booking.com, but I got an invoice. There is no way to communicate with anyone.
I booked a hotel through Agoda recently. My hotel stay was horrible. In short, the hotel was dirty, my husband and I woke up to BED BUGS crawling on us, the free breakfast advertised was closed, and the hotel staff were unapologetic and rude. I contacted Agoda for a refund and they were very helpful and apologetic about the situation. However, in order to request a refund, we had to go through the partner site which is Booking.com. I had proof of the bed bugs and I wrote a review about the hotel. Booking.com refused to compensate me for this horrible hotel stay, despite my proof and description of the stay. They don't care about their customers and it's all about money to them. I will not be utilizing Booking.com in the future due to this incident and I will advise others to do the same.
Do not ever consider hiring a car through this disreputable company. I hired a car on 28th May for a trip to Sicily in September. I received the voucher, completed the details such as Licence Number etc and was told good to go. A few days before an email arrived confirming all ok.
When we arrived at Catania Airport the hire company, Sicily by Car, had received no booking from them. I had to ring 4 times over 2 hour period and the Customer service Team did nothing to assist. Eventually they admitted that the booking was never made but could not offer an alternative vehicle even though it was their fault. In the end all they did was refund my money and had to find my own alternative car which ended up costing an addition £450. It is impossible to complain because having cancelled the booking the case is cancelled and you are unable to use their complaints process.
Beware if anything goes wrong don't expect any help from this disgraceful company.

I was scammed by booking, I booked a house with 7 beds, 2 rooms and 2 living rooms do the 4 man could have their own bed and privacy, with private pool, sauna, etc. when I arrive to Casablanca the house didn't exist! So 4 man in the street with luggage in the middle of Casablanca for hours. Booking grants you the same conditions or better in this cases but in reality they will only find and option for the same value, they don't care about the characteristics of the house they only care about the price! They firs found a a studio with a couple bed… ridiculous! After a apartment with mold and cockroaches and 3 beds so 2 man had to divide a couple bed! They where options similar to the o e I booked but it was the double of the price and for them that was not an option… and in reality they don't really do nothing that you couldn't do your self with a search…. After you have to spend more money to rent another house because they dont return the money immediately! I asked to talk with a supervisor and they said that was not an option! I have everything now on the layers because of all the damage they did! Very bad service!

I booked an apartment for 3 days in the same day I arrived at the apartment but the reservation is not on the system as what the owner told me. The owner show us his booking app It didn't appear on his account about my reservation but I received the confirmation of the reservation in my email. And the owner wants me to pay in cash If i want to stay in his apartment but the amount is more than the amount listed in booking.com.
Both booking.com and the apartment owner are scam. They charge my credit card but the reservation didn't go thru but I received the confirmation email and the transaction show up in my credit card.

And during my stay my room had Roaches so I request a refund and left so since I went through booking.com the hotel sent the refund back to booking.com they would not give me my money back or any compensation on my bad stay. I work for Suncor as a security consultant, I was asked to come to a conference last minute in Calgary Alberta from somewhere in the USA, I booked my hotel on my flight so you could say I was already committed, I did it through PayPal thinking it would be safer but I was wrong, at the end of the process it came up there's a problem, but the real problem is they charged my credit card for the room and the security deposit and I didn't get a confirmation, contacted the property no record, booking says don't worry it's just a pre authorization, you'll have the money returned in 7-10 business days. Oh and I'm supposed to just keep charging 750$ hotel rooms to My personal credit card until it works like I'm a millionaire or something, I told them in any other situation with any other hospitalty provider they would be put me up for the inconvience, booking.com just stops replying after they tell you there refund policy... Learn from my mistake. Book direct.
The hotel is discussing no hot water the bathtub is all cracked up and dirty as soon as you walked into the hotel you could see the floors are dirty, the hotel is not clean. I don't think anyone should ever book with Agoda, you asked for your they tell it's non refundable. I wanted to go home as soon I got into my room. I found a really great deal for a hotel for my annual girls trip. I booked 4 rooms, each under its own reservation just in case someone has to back out. Two days later, Booking canceled all 4 reservations because I booked 4 times for the same dates at the same place. When booking, it asks if you're booking for yourself or someone else. I provided the other people's names and emails so that they can see the rooms aren't all for me. Also, while booking the additional rooms, there's a pop up letting you know that you already booked a room asking if you want to continue to which I replied yes. If they thought I made an error, they should have contacted me instead of canceling on me! Now…multiple calls later, I either get hung up on, or promised an email to explain what happened. One girl said I can just rebook at the new rates and tell my friends they no longer have the reservations. She was so unhelpful! The company even disabled my account and blocked my credit card so that I can't reserve a room even if I wanted too! They do not care! They do not help. And the fact that you HAVE to have a confirmation number to even reach a live person is ridiculous.

I booked 2 rooms in Allentown with Booking.com. Due to a medical issue, one of the rooms had to be cancelled. I called the hotel and they cancelled it with no fees. I also notified Booking.com. I have been a month trying to get my credit card refunded for the one room. I am getting the run around from Booking.com. I have spoken to the manager of the hotel who told me they have not been contacted by Booking.com about a refund. Ten minutes later I got an email from Booking.com saying they tried to call the manager (who I had just spoken to) and he wasn't available until next week. I finally called my credit card and filed a dispute. I had never used Booking.com before and I will never use it again.
Just book through the hotel direct, you will get a cheaper price. When you use booking.com you actually pay more for rooms with less amenities. Booking.com is a huge rip off.
They have one of the worse customer services I have ever seen. They lie to you when you contact them and intentionally don't complete some of the bookings online and tell you things like it is in a pending state. Wait a 72 hours and it will send confirmation. If you wait any period of time and call them especially if it is on a holiday, their answer is it didn't go through you can rebook, knowing that they have raised the rate at least 60 dollars. And it is an endless loop. Complete incompetent Customer Service!
I booked with booking.com for the first time. It charged me a pet fee even though we had no pet. There was no option to opt out. I contacted booking.com customer service to get a refund on the pet fee. It has been a very frustrating experience. I was asked to provide a ton of information related to the booking, which I did. I was pleased with getting a hotel reservation in Tennessee using booking.com: good price, no problems. I went through PayPal; everything was tidy. I then discovered a foreign transaction fee assessed by BOA. I was informed that if I use my BOA card from a company located outside of the U. S (booking.com), I will have to pay a foreign transaction fee. BOA added a designation to my PayPal transaction with "NLD." I am told by a BOA associate that NLD stands for "Never Land." I didn't catch the designation for "D."
The folks at BOA graciously waived the fee this time; I think because I am a long-standing member. I did some research and discovered that the HQ of booking.com is located in the Netherlands, hence, "foreign!". If I use anything related to booking.com in the future and use my BOA card, I will be assessed a foreign transaction fee, and so will you if that is your preferred credit card. The fee was minimal, but for me, it was the principle of the matter. BOA may be a trendsetter or following behind someone else. I am retired and living in Tennessee, and I thought I would inform others of what I just discovered.

Only to find out that the hotel was out of business and I had to prove that it was charged to my account. They did not find me a replacement hotel to stay in for the same price. Nor did they care that I was left without a place to stay. So beware before you purchase.
