Be prepared to wait indefinitely with zero information on delivery date. They will never say that a book is not in stock
This is how you do business Book Depository? Where is my stuff? 19 days have past when I 1st place my order on 3rd August 2018. For order number BDU************** totaling up to SGD$149.76. For order number BDU**************, I order on 1st August 2018, 21 days have past still no book? My address is correct & I have already checked with my local sorting office, my stuff was not held with them.
What is the point of promising your customers world wide that you can deliver on time when you couldn't? Is this how you do business? I have been going daily to my letter box to open my mail and find my self in disappointment, order 16 books from you guys since 1 August 2018. None of this 16 books arrive at my letter box. You guys are really outrageous company. You guys deserve 0 stars. These books I brought purchase from you all are birthday gifts for my friends and family. In the end book depository can't even delivery my books. I wouldn't recommend to my anyone to use book depository. LOST MY MONEY & LOST MY BOOK.
It has been over 20 days and i am still waiting for my delivery, their surport team is useless. Please do not use this website.
This will be a long review but I want to be fair.
I ordered 13 books for over $180 USD on 5/13/20. It was a UK import of the WoT series, I wanted all 15 books, but only 13 were in stock at Book Depository (BD) so I went in for all 13 and ordered the other 2 on eBay. Prices at BD were the cheapest I could find them online, cheaper than eBay even. The site was recommended to me by a trusted source, but I later learned that source hadn't bought from BD since 2017. After placing my order, my bank auto-texted me saying I had to confirm this was not a fraudulent purchase. This raised suspicions, as I order a lot of merch from around the world and my bank never intervenes. I got worried and started Googling reviews of the site which led me here. I read almost every review and was horrified at the stories of people getting inadequate service or outright feeling scammed. I immediately contacted my bank and told them I was concerned I had just made an overseas purchase that wouldn't be fulfilled, and they assured me they would assist with a charge back in the event I was scammed. I then saved all my correspondence with the bank and my email confirmations with BD and decided to wait and see.
The first thing that surprised me was that after a couple days, I received tracking numbers for all 13 books. This went against what I had read in recent reviews here. I wonder if BD decided to start tracking some or all orders due to all the issues they were causing in getting people their books. Hopefully management there has cracked down on their shipping process.
As of 06/01 I have received all 13 books. They came packaged separately, 13 form-fitting cardboard cases that each fit one book. That definitely increased the chances that they could've been lost or stolen, but it seems like I got lucky. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my purchase, as I got a hard-to-find import of my favorite series that would've cost me twice as much elsewhere. I hope that others start receiving their orders promptly and that BD has decided to try improving their reputation to where it used to be. Crossing my fingers for all my fellow overseas readers out there.

Il vendent des livres qu'ils n'ont pas en stock! Vous vous retrouvez à attendre pour l'expédition alors que sur le site d'amazon il est précisé qu'ils sont supposé l'envoyer sous 2 ou 3 jours. Cela fait 6 jours que j'ai passé une commande qui n'est toujours pas expédiée et pour cause ils ne l'ont pas en stock! Je viens donc de l'apprendre après les avoir contactés, ils m'ont répondu qu'ils avaient des problèmes d'approvisionnement mais ils continuent quand même de proposer à la vente sur amazon d'autres exemplaires de ce livre alors que celui ci est épuisé partout ailleurs et qu'ils sont incapable de me l'envoyer!
Después de casi dos meses mis libros no han llegado, les escribí varios y siempre me respondían casi de inmediato que esperara un poco más y si después de tal fecha no llegaban me pusiera en contacto con ellos. Les volví a escribir varios correos para pedir un reembolso de aproximadamente 100 dólares y a diferencia de los anteriores, estos jamás los contestaron. Son unos estafadores, ladrones, basura de servicio.
Answer: Honestly, no idea, seems like their staff are very untrustworthy I had problems with them before I even ordered something, because they would keep changing what they told me about stock on a book, I wouldnt trust these liars with valuable information like your personal card (have ordered it in the end, but never arrived, they lied about the stock apparently and its gonna be a much longer wait, regretting buying it from here)
Answer: I always pay with a credit card and I never had any issue whatsoever.
Answer: Honestly, no idea. I also have them but I fill them again (I don't put my credit card info because I don't want to, and the address it's just filled in because Google remembers it).
