Its been a month i have been trying to add a CNAME record for my subdomain and it just wont work. Contacted customer care, they scrambled my access to the site, contacted again, fixed it, contacted again and asked to make sure the CNAME record was added, they confirmed, but site still wont work. Its been a real pain... NGL...
Customer support called me, and supposedly help me with my issue. They where able to *temporary* replace the main domain of my hosting: municipioomanati.com with the actual domain i want to use, is websolutionspr.com. After 15 mins in phone call, i was able to see some changes, but 24 hours later all went back the same, the old domain appeared as the main domain. So. Thanks for nothing/? I guess.
The customer service for tech support has been sub par. I've been a customer for 10+ years and recently I've called in a few times for different tech support and the agents couldn't solve my basic issue, and they weren't knowledgeable or they didn't use active listening to understand what my requests were. I fixed the issues myself after several calls and 4-6 hours of wasted time speaking with tech support.

It started out really good several years ago, but last couple of years have been horrible getting anything done. Customer service reps are all on a different page and takes too long to resolve a small problem.

Auto renewals should not be double what I'm used to paying. I switched to buehost from Godaddy to save some money and now, with no warning, yoyu are more expansive than them. I considder this a scam
I have had problems since I migrated my website three months ago with my site. During the migration, I had to call every day for over 2 weeks to get the migration completed. Because they didn't turn something on and now. My website is all screwed up. Because a migration team did something wrong and the customer support cannot answer any questions. They can't even give me a phone number to call or direct email to reach these people. I paid for the migration and it was a complete waste of money. I wish I'd never switched over.
About a month ago, my website was DELETED with no explanation of why. I spent over 2 hours with chat support trying to get it back. They had no explanation to give me of why it happened. They were able to eventually get it back, but this caused a LOT of stress for me, and as a result I no longer trust that bluehost won't just randomly do it again :(

So, far, so good -- wonderblocks made the Word Press pursuit doable. I only rated 4 stars because BlueHost needs to work with their team more to ensure their familiarity with the various templates and be able to assist when contacted. Also, they should have their representative submit tickets to the various template owners for troubleshooting and not ask the client to perform that task (I only would have chosen the template because it was available through your site, so if you make it available, you should know about its bugs). Other than that, thanks for the ease of use.

Though I am happy with purchasing domains with Bluehost, the webhosting and pricing leaves much to be desired.
My subscription is due to expire in 1st April but why will my websites and domain be shut down before my current payment is due to run out. Also why will money be taken from my account before the current subscription ends without a notice of the amount and when they wish to take it out from my account? I received an email earlier this month that a payment of £146.80 precisely for a year's renewal. But today Bluehost took £397 from my account for the same renewal because they have access to my payment details. Calling the to restore the website, I am getting an email that it has been delated and I can call back if I have backups.
I have been trying to transfer my domain to Bluehost for over a week, and although I received an email stating the transfer didn't go through, 3 support agents told me not to worry it would, but it still hasn't been transferred.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
