This should have never been an issue. When I called yesterday to have a problem resolved, the person helping me basically ignored me when I told him that was not my domain name. He said it was temporary.
I make changes to my website I save them or otherwise known as publish them. And come back the next day they're gone I call customer service I got disconnected. I tried to attach affiliate links they don't stay attached this website builder sucks $#*!.
I've never made a blog from scratch before, and I am not well versed in the platform yet, but I do have faith that this platform will give me the tools I need to succeed. I am very fortunate to have found it. So far, everything is going very well! I would like more of a walk through added for the hopelessly confused and technology-challenged as I am.
Very bad experience. They hold your domain has hostage. Take day to resolve anything. Very difficult to get refund it has been more than 4 days. People are nice working there but there system & management are horrible.
My last conversation with Michael, escalated support, was great. He repaired the issue. My website it up and running again and fully functioning. It took 3 attempts, but once I was referred to Michael, it all went smoothly.
I struggled for weeks because the login "create pin" kept giving me an error message that Bluehost was having difficulties, try again later. Your customer support was very unhelpful until the problem was escalated 3 times.
In general, I have had little to no issues with Bluehost hosting. Over the course of 8-10 years almost no down time. Glitches every once in a while, but that's going to happen anywhere. Thank You Bluehost.
The new user interface is a giant step backward. It's hard to find things intuitively, every time I log in I get an ad for things I've had for *years* before I can get to my dashboard, support has gone rapidly downhill in the last year or two. I used to love and endorse Bluehost, but I'm looking at new providers.
Loading speed is to slow 1 second slower then hostinger. Price is to high almost doubled hostinger. C panel outdated it needs a reskin. One star is what you get with old infrastructure and barely any upgrades.
As a novice I keep creating my website and then it just disappears and asks me to again create my website... Not impressed so far... Daniel
Worked out what was wrong. Really need to have a hold your hand step by step guide to follow.

There are a number of steps to complete to set up a website, and while each one is not difficult, all of them together are fairly overwhelming. Currently I'm trying to have my SSL certificate verified and it's not working and my email account will won't receive emails but can send them and my website still has a temporary domain name instead of the one I paid $100+ to buy. It's frustrating.
This is incredibly not user-friendly to set up. I have used GoDaddy previously and the setup was flawless. I have had my site up for over a month and still cannot accept orders, checkout or ship orders. I have never been so unhappy with a purchase before, honestly.
Customer service has always been top notch. If I have ever had an issue and I call Bluehost they actually answer the phone, walk me through my meltdown (lol) and always make sure I am taken care of. I honestly feel that with Bluehost I know that there are people ready to help me and not just some AI computer host.
Upselling is annoying, plus, I have many (hundreds over the years) spam 'subscribers' which on three separate occasions you have failed to help me with, sometimes even saying that I am lying about them.
So, my first website on Bluehost crashed, and they were no help. Decided to switch to another company, but then my second site acts up after renewal—boom, hit with a $350 charge. Site's down, and their customer support doesn't have a clue. Asked for a refund, got an email saying, "Nope." How they get all those good reviews is beyond me. Bluehost feels like a total scam. Time to bring in the legal squad.
Useless support team that ends chats when they don't know how to solve issues, slow and laggy loading times with images on the site overlapping, generally horrific customer service and ads shoved down your face 24/7 to spend more from logging in despite their basic service not even working properly lol
It would be really nice if the billing change form would actually work. This is the second time this year that I needed to update the information and took multiple visits and attempts to do so to finally accomplish the task with out seeing "Please try again later."
Never had issues before or it was fixed within reasonable time. Now without me changing anything on my site it started to have serious issues and nobody from your service is capable or willing to help. The BIG thing is that the problems started without me making any changes. I have been with your service for almost 20 years but it feels my loyalty is not appreciated. If you would like to reply to my comment: *******@yahoo.com
I chose 2 stars because of how difficult the Word Press editor is when attempting, to edit web pages. You can't delete paragraphs of words and instead have to delete or backspace & when you hit the arrow keys the screen jumps around and it's impossible to edit just a few words vs the entire 'block', and that's just what I have in mind...
After receiving explicit assurance from your support team that my services would not expire, they did and my website and emails have been down for >3wks now. This is having a material impact on my business, and despite raising multiple support tickets there appears to be no urgency in your addressing the problem.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
