I've had some technical issues that the support teams struggled to fix for me, but in the end things seem to be working. I do worry if there is ever something serious that goes wrong, because in that case I'm not sure I can rely on the support to fix it quickly and effectively.
No one would help me so I'm still trying to figure it out. My business affiliate has left Blue Host for the very same reason. Everything is about a dollar after a person has spent a lot of money already! I hate that I did this. My sites are still down because I need to figure it out! Bluehost SUCKS!
I have been having issue for more than a week now. Some of the chat representatives do not understand requests being made especially regarding issue with my domain (Privacy Protection Purchase). The worst experience, I have had since deciding to go with Bluehost as my hosting platform.
I have used Bluehost for a while, and while it is decent for beginners, there are a few drawbacks. The pricing is a bit higher than competitors, especially during renewal. Also, the site speed isn't always the best, and customer support can be slow at times.
It's all really clear and easy to work with. I contacted support with one query - they were great, and also let me know that I could set up a free email address for my domain (unrelated to my query but very useful)!
Unresolved issue and access to my Hosting Account and 5 websites for over a week. False promises and no real live technical support. You can all talk to someone to forward a question to them. You can't request a call back from the true technical support or call them. Blue Host lost the Website hosting Tab on my account and NO one has a clue.
Had a really hard time with your services so far. I hope my experience gets better. It's been less than 2 weeks since I purchased your services and I've had to talk to 6 customer service representatives already. It's not looking good...
Ghastly customer service, long waits for people who don't understand the issue, lots of fumbles on Bluehost's part, and a bad-to-worse customer experience that's essentially trying to upsell and show ads instead of getting us to where we need to be. Hate it.
Absolute garbage customer service. I had ongoing issues with being blacklisted for falsely spamming email with no explanation given and literally days wasted and thousands lost each time I had to try fix it myself.
My bluehost representative spoke excellent english, she was kind, patient and knowledgeable. She even stayed on the line upon my request to make sure I understood the process and how to do it myself. I have never had a better experience designing my website. Bluehost please keep up the GREAT work and never get rid of your phone line.
Paid for migration process has been a nightmare. Nearly 2 months and still not done. Support has been slow, lacking and requiring me to put in much time, effort, energy and resources despite me paying for it.

This is not very user friendly and it doesn't explain things well. I need a small ecommerce site. The only theme that is coming up is a blog style theme and I cannot seem to get around it. I've already spent over an hour and a half on chat trying to figure out the first problem, I don't have time to do that again.
I don't like the ad that pops up every time we log in with the larger button committing us to a service we do not want, nor need. It's ridiculous that a site we pay so much for has ads. We'll be looking for another service soon if the ads continue.
I have a 27" monitor... the first thing I see when I enter the Bluehost website is an advertisement. I had to scroll down to find the small print that let's me "Escape" and get the information I actually need. Bluehost makes it's customers feel like we are nothing more than a collection of wallets.

There is no direct link for me to manage my site. It would help if you add a direct link to cPanel and maybe some other things. At the moment every time I have to go through a long process of actually managing my site.
Also, I have been struggling to use/access the database. Whichever username/password I use does not work. A bit frustrating.
Very unsatisfied with your service. I have problems all the time with this account. Somebody hacked my account and I didn't even get the reimbursement for that. Your customer service is horrible, they are never able to solve anything promptly.
The customer service reps I've chatted with have been very courteous and obviously wish to help me. Unfortunately, I have had to visit with them more than once for the same issue. That is, the first rep assures me the issue is solved, but I find it isn't, so I must contact online chat again. So some reps are more knowledgeable than others. On the plus side, it doesn't take long to be connected with a rep and I've found that the more clear I can be in communicating my issue, the better the outcome for me. So, not a 5 Star rating, but definitely a 4 Star.
I was presented an offer that was not relevant for me today. When I wanted to skip it, the pointer did not even indicate that this option was clickable, and it took 10-15 seconds until I got any kind of feedback from my click. (I am using Firefox on a Mac, everything up-to-date)
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
