Used for hosting for several years but at renewal time prices increased significantly and they wouldn't give a better offer. Now that I've changed hosts they have started to offer new hosting plans at 20% of the cost on the renewal so clearly they could have offered it earlier to keep me as a customer. New host also has new features and doesn't charge extra for them. Site downtime has also been a regular problem over the last year with no compensation or explanation
I love the live chat on the front page, easy to get and help me a lot. I am not proffesional at making web sit, some times i have trouble to cover some steps, i love it.

So far... I've had to rebuild my site from near scratch because, instead of being told I could simply transfer my existing site using a Wordpress plugin, I was given convoluted and incorrect instructions and an offer to have BH do it for me. Then, I've had an issue (STILL unresolved) of fixing my custom domain emails in iCloud (DKIM record issue) despite reaching out 4 different times for assistance - told 3 times it was fixed, and the latest I was on my own. Beyond those issues, I had been unable to reconnect Jetpack to my site and was only able to fix that due to the kindness of a stranger in a Wordpress.org forum for helping get that repaired. I went directly there simply because there has been very little "support" whenever I reach out to tech support. Plenty of "are you still there?" while I'm typing responses that take more than a couple words to express - can't your people see that I'm typing?! I can see THEY are! I was left a reply *******@bluehostsupport on my forum post, but was merely given a useless link to documentation, which did not resolve my issue, but no further response when I replied it had not worked. So you could say I'm unhappy.

Sites been down for 24 hrs, bc of something the customer service did to my site on backend, case has been created and I have to WAIT for someone to reach out to me to resolve the issue?! Can't check status updates. Horrible
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
