My site & email migration were an absolute disaster. My family and I lost so much money - over 15k- while your team provided wrong nameservers and created a disaster out of my website. Our site and email were down for over 20 days. I had to hire my own developer who agreed- your team really $#*!ed me over.
Not sure why the receipt runs to an extra page when printed... when there's nothing but blank space? Hope that can be rectified.
I'm unable to access my site to edit it. I was not able to resolve with support. I am unable to fulfill my duties to my contract.
Your service is terrible for nontechnical people, and I'm closing my account after spending way too many hours in chats with your team where I was given wrong or poor information.
Basic Security issues should be provided to avoid my domain to be blocked by Google
You have too many nag screens trying to upsell your customers who just want to make a payment.
Plus the payment process now has many more steps than before you changed it.
Plus it's very irritating when you automatically add a $200 + hosting fee into the shopping cart.
These are shabby money grubbing actions - - If you don't change it I will start rating you one star on public rating websites. You are wasting your customer's time. And if you don't respond to customer's opinions they will leave in droves.
I am able to post about anything I want. I do have problems with emails.
I can never find what I am looking for immediately. I have to ago through hoops to find it.
Stop asking me to upgrade every single time I login
Trying to look up back order history and have been all over with no success.
No help on chat because my problem is not within the selections
The changes in your dashboard is very confusing. I don't have a direct button to go to the file directory and other app and services, mu account shows home, websites, cpanel email, domains and hosting. There used to be an advanced button...but to be honest your dashboard fro about 10-15 years ago was way better and navigational wise better. You need to make sure a fifth grader can access and understand and so far everything is for a webmaster rather than a simple guy like me. Additonally uploading new sites and content there is NO instruction on where to add that content to start your website. I develop HTML NOT WordPress...that in itself is a huge problem for my host account.
Have had trouble logging in at times and setting up the store in terms of receiving payment. I like the rest of Bluehost however in terms of customizing pricing and multiple emails to use for this or that. Customer service seems to take care of business if you have the patience for it.
I'm mot spending too much more time on explaining than I've already have month after month with different customer service personnel. It's a waste of my time. Your company's only positive is that it is cheap. I guess the adage, "you get what you paid for" is accurate here. Your customer service, while nice, are not always very smart and when they can't answer, they'll give you an answer you want to hear but doesn't solve the problem and then you have to start all over again; or, you get a lie and then have to start all over again; or, you end up with a person who insist that your system is correct when clearly it's not and wants to fight you on it; or, you finally get a supervisor after over an hour of frustration later only to be forwarded to an email customer service system (ticket system) and the issue returns again the following month; or, any solution creates more issues. Who wants to stay on this roller coaster ride? Your hosting has never been great, but at least it worked for my small information websites. Ever since the "upgrade" your service has been very wiggy and my problem keeps persisting. It's fraud, that your system charging my card multiple times for things I did not authorize and the problem never gets fixed. Slow hosting, slow minded-customer service = bad experiences.
Every time that I want to use this platform to edit my site, there is some issue that comes up, and when trying to fix it, it messes up everything else. It is really frustrating to want to use and edit something, but have to go around an issue every single time.
Once you become more familiar, it starts being more "user friendly". Sometimes it takes long to figure out where to find what you are looking for.
The support is very bad, nothing gets solved, we have escalated an issue so many times during 2 months, we're so fraustrated we want to get everything out of bluehost
Sometimes website loading time is an issue for me.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
