I ordered my blinds and received them in a timely manner. However, after hanging them one was 12 inches shorter than I asked. The measurements I sent were correct, and the box that was delivered even said the correct length. After calling, emailing a photo, and placing a new order another blind will be made and sent. I was not given a time frame for how long this will take. So I will just have to wait with a short blind hanging in my front window until a replacement arrives.
Requested multiple blinds. One was not ordered. Lost money when had to reorder because "buyer" was given purchase amount minus the missing blind and had to pay for missing blind.
It would be very helpful to know if an allowance is made for Inside mounts. I am a retired Interior Designer, used LaFayette Blinds in Indiana; they always deducted the inside allowance automatically, this is why I am paying the fee for remakes!
Blinds came in the expected time and exactly as ordered. I am pleased with the quality and function of these blinds. Easy to install.
My faux wood blinds are everything I had hoped for in that they really class up the room. The installation was even easy.
This was my first order from Blindster.com. We order the 2in faux wood blinds for our living room and master bedroom. The directions they gave for measurement were very simple to follow. Once ordered, we had our new blinds within a week and a half. We had four altogether and two different sizes. In all it took about 30 minutes to mount all 4 blinds. Half of the time was one the first to insure we were doing it correctly. Installation is very simple and a month later we still could not be more pleased.
I am remodeling my home and bought blinds through out my home. They look great and I'm satisfied with the product. One of the blinds was defective and when I called to see what the company could do everyone I talked to wanted to help. I snapped a picture of the blind hanging crooked in the window and sent it in. The employees I spoke with were very apologetic and well as assuring me it could be replaced without charge. I got the replacement; it's great. I very satisfied.
The blinds came in an array of sizes despite ordering only two sizes. I was able to get new ones shipped out, but it is frustrating that despite my correct measuring, the blinds came in the wrong size. It worked out in the end. I would probably order from here again.

Nice product. Cheapest price i've seen out there for the quality. I wish I wouldn't been sent more support brackets since my window is oversized, but then again, I shouldn't have maybe asked for you.
These were for a child's bedroom, so we can live with the imperfection, but I measured correctly and then received blinds that were about 1/2 - 3/4" narrower than my measurements. Fortunately, I could still hang them because the brackets provide some room for error. But the window is not as adequately darkened as it could be as a result of the blinds being narrower than the window frame, so we still need curtains.
I'm sorry there was a problem with the size.
That is why we recommend that you use the window opening width (smallest of the width measurements at the top, middle & bottom of the window) when ordering inside mount blinds. All factories that make window coverings for us (and all factories that I am aware of in the United States) take a width deduction when making blinds/shades to be mounted inside the window. For horizontal blinds the normal deduction is 1/2 inch.
If the factory made the blind to the incorrect width, we will send you a new blind at no charge. I will contact you directly to see what we can do to get this resolved. Thank you for your understanding.
Of course I messed up the measurements, but true to their word there was only a nominal fee to fix my mistake. From beginning to end, the customer service was terrific and we are more than happy with the blinds we purchased!
Need new blinds! Ordered one small blind to see the quality and appearance in my home. Was super pleased with the overall blind so have ordered blinds for the house, Several are for a huge two story livingroom window. Have not received my second order.
The website was very easy to maneuver, and I found exactly what I was looking for. We needed two sets of blackout shades for my daughters' windows. Both we delivered a week after my order was placed. They were easy to install and we now have two teenagers that can sleep in. Their rooms are dark, and cooler during our hot summers in AZ.

My first blind arrived on time but with no valance. Contacted customer service and they said they were sorry it wasn't made with a valance. They said they would have another one made with a valance. Very disappointed with the remake production time. It took 12 days for my new blind to ship out. I would have assumed that since it was blindster mistake they would have rushed the remake order. Guess not.
I'm so sorry you had to wait so long. I completely agree with you that this remake order should have shipped earlier. It was originally scheduled to ship on 7/14. I have addressed this issue with the factory.

I love my shades. I live in HOT Houston, so I got the block out lining and it is awesome! Keeps my den a bit cooler and blocks out light for movie night!
