These blinds are awful, we just opened them today and attempted to put them up. We used them once before about 2 years ago and had a wonderful experience, but it seems Blindster has gone downhill since then. The black out pleated shades we purchased are all wonky when hung up and don't even go down all the way. One was the wrong size and and two are completely damaged. They appear to be cheaply made. Hopefully we'll be able to get this fixed and eventually leave a good review.
Ordered 5 solar shades. Website says: "One 30* operating pole is sent with every cordless shades order to help reach shades in taller windows". Expected 5 operating poles since windows are tall, located in different rooms, and my wife is petite. I received one pole for all 5 shades. They want to charge me $25 to send me rods the website says come with the shades. They say the website says they will send only one pole per order. I disagree. And no where does it give you the option to order more for each window. So instead of taking care of a customer who just spent $2200 and then correcting their website, they told me they wouldn't send them unless I paid extra. I told them I won't be a returning customer and I would let everyone know why.

Credit card charged in January, it's the middle of March and I'm still waiting on my delivery. No feedback on status of order. Only communication is this survey request. Hard to be very satisfied with this sort of service.
I received a defective product and I am having issue with getting a credit back. I've ordered from them three times, and it's surprising how difficult they are being with me. I'm going to use amazon from now on or another service unfortunately

I spoke with our customer service supervisor Whitney and she said she had spoken with you and requested you either send photos of the damage or that we would pick up the shade and provide credit upon inspection. The blinds do fit and look great; however, they were dented when they arrived. We used pliers to fix the dent and put them up anyway since the cover on the top would not show the dents. I believe this was a shipping issue more than anything.
I'm sorry your blinds were damaged in shipping! Unfortunately, ship damage is one of our biggest challenges. Window coverings are heavy and awkwardly shaped, not a good fit with shipping.

The production times listed on the site are not accurate. Takes well over a month before blinds ship and if you call customer service, be prepared to be on hold for over 40 minutes. I can't rate the product because I'm still waiting over a month after placing my order. Also, they charge your credit card immediately when order is placed, not when product ships. I gave two stars because once I spoke to customer service, the representative was nice and apologetic, but seriously, I just want my blinds that I paid for 5 weeks ago.
The blinds came in the time period promised. The size was incorrect. I'm confident our measurements were correct. I say this for the reason, I along with an interior designer followed the EXACT steps Blindster.com gave. Because of the concern, (which came to be true) we didn't share the measurements before each of us individually completed. When we compared, the measurements were exactly the same. To avoid the return ($30 shipping) process, we simply acceptable the incorrect blinds. Customers coming into the office will probably not notice the gap, we will. We'll pay more this next month with our home wood blinds. Thanks.

1/2 of our order was delayed in shipping which we did not receive communication about. After several weeks passed we called to inquire and we told they were out of fabric and would be shipped soon. It took two phone calls to get all this information. Finally after calls were made we received the blinds within a few days. There seemed to be a break down in communication as we received no updates as to what was going on or shipping updates. We are used to better services than this. The end product is fine.
I am very sorry you did not get deliver as expected. I apologize for the delay. Our of stock material is a very rare situation. We should have definitely communicated better with you about your order. I apologize that part of your order was 1 day late in shipping.
I knew that they were not the top of the line brand but I would have made out better buying from Bed Bath and Beyond. These are some of the worst quality blinds I have ever seen. They are not even straight! There is a huge (not slight but very large) distance between them. I would have expected more from a custom blind company. I can't and won't recommend Blindster to anyone.
For all this, they took a very long time to deliver. So unhappy that I spent so much money for such a bad job!
First time using this company after using both 3 day blinds and Blinds.com after a referral from a client. Ordering online was straight forward and product was delivered (later than usual but given Covid understandable). The reason for the 1 star is the customer service AFTERWARDS. Had an issue with one of the blinds over a month ago and still not resolve. You cannot speak to an individual, if you call you get a voicemail that recognizes your phone number which states they will call back but never do. I have sent numerous emails requesting one of the blinds be re-made under their "protection policy" (to which I paid for the extended coverage) and still have not received an response. Not a good first impression to say the least. Extremely disappointed, especially with a decent order size (over $500) as well as potential for many additional orders in the future if there was any indication of this company standing behind their products.
We ordered cellular blinds for a large home in the year 2015. Now, in 2021, we ordered cellular blinds for a small home. We did not know the material had changed so much that they made the 2021 blinds with. We measured too short, this time, because this material is entirely different. Unfortunately, they do not make the blinds with the material they had in 2015. Patricia is a wonderful lady who will help you all the way to rectify your issues. She is pleasant to work with and does not play games. If you order, ask for her. She is the reason I am giving Blindster 4 stars. Otherwise, when you call Blindster, you never get a real person on the phone and when they who call back are not warm or friendly like Patricia. One kept repeating that she is there to help me and took too many calls to rectify issues. I do not know if Blindster has changed hands since 2015, but they are extremely lucky to have Patricia.
These blinds were ordered in all different sizes for my home; they came marked clearly and fit perfectly. Customer services is excellent! Quality of Product Excellent... love the look; very high end work!
Our blinds were delivered quickly and fit perfectly. There was one blind out of the six ordered that did not work correctly. I notified customer service and they immediately sent a replacement. No need for me to return the damaged one. Price was great too! Love this company!
I've made three separate purchases with Blindster over the last few years, and they've all been very pleasant. We added on to our house this last year, and obviously needed window treatments for all the new windows, so off to blindster.com I went. This is a great company with quality products at reasonable prices. More importantly, Blindster also stands behind their products, offering great customer service. They also have frequent sales, so snagging an even better deal is just a wait away, especially if you're signed up for email notifications. Highly recommended for the budget minded style seeker!

These blinds are easy to order, look fantastic are well built, easy to install and are very reasonably priced. Even customer service was helpful and prompt sending me and extra bracket I dint necessarily need but wanted for my own piece of mind. You will always know if a company is good and provides a quality product by the repeat business it gets from its customers, we will be ordering more for all our windows soon. PS. I am pretty sure they are made in the U. S if that matters to anyone (an added bonus for me)
It is tough to mess up your choices, dimensions, etc. with all of the customer service help/visuals provided by Blindster.com. I have had nothing but good experiences with them; plus very easy installation...
Quality, price and fit all above expectation but a couple of blinds did have small defects and Blindster.com customer service staff were helpful and professional in getting the situation corrected.
Only negatives were late shipping notifications and incorrectly marked blind size on several boxes caused needless hassle.
The cordial personalities of those in customer service was not only helpful but refreshing. Everything that is promised in their advertising is true. A pleasure to work with this company and we love our blinds!
