Jokes
September 2, 2023

The whole website is a joke. Can you buy me that's on it as a joke? There's no credible people that says anything relevant to sports on here. As soon as I say, something bad, they wanna kick you off. Comment that I don't know s*** about sports. It wouldn't be a proble

Worst of the Worst
March 16, 2023

The experience I've had with Bleacher Report's customer service is amongst the worst allotments of time I've ever suffered through. These people are absolute crooks. I paid $50 for a live show that could only be viewed on my phone (the cast button appeared but was not usable, meaning it was a fault in their part, thousands of other users experienced this as well). Pretty cut and dry reason to ask for a refund right?

BR disagree. Except they will act like they do, string you along, tell you they'll process your refund in 3-5 business days. After 8 days, if you reach out to follow up, you'll find that not only did they "lose" the records of your contact and exchange, but they'll tell you that they themselves are not capable of processing refunds without escalating to Google, which extends the process and even then you're not guaranteed anything. I asked why I was lied to in our intial exchange and they gave me a complete non-answer.

After a few emails it becomes easier to tell that whoever works their email department couldn't care less about actually reading their customers emails. I honestly doubt I'm even going to get a refund at this point.

This is a horrible service with horrible business practices operated by horrible people. Do not spend a dime on anything they have to offer.

I ordered a shirt as a Christmas present in November and as of mid Jan still haven't received it. B/R store customer service replies after 24 hours with a response, but instead of actually resolving the issue with a refund or sending a replacement shirt they respond with a question and the only way to reply to them is with a new customer service request. After 10 inquiries I'm still receiving the same few questions that have been answered multiple times. They have no plans to actually refund and I doubt they even have products they're actually selling

They don't ship orders
December 23, 2022

I placed an order over 5 weeks ago. I was charged right away but they still haven't shipped my order. I reached out to customer service a few times and they're trying to deflect blame to UPS, saying that it shipped but UPS has made it clear that a label was created but the item was never dropped off to them to be shipped. I placed an order before Black Friday and it won't arrive in time for Christmas. At this point, I think they're just trying to keep the money without fulfilling the order. Buyer beware.

Just like the title. If I could give the app and the customer service -5 stars I would. I spent 60.00 on AEW revolution on a new account I'd never used before. Apparently the ppv reciept I'd purchased was associated with another account. Which I did not have. Called tech support who tried to walk me through all the sh×t I'd already done.

Then they had the nerve to ask to see my bank reciept where I'd purchased the ppv. Then start asking me for my name and info which I'd already given 7 times and somehow they'd managed to get it wrong 14.

Worst app. Incompitent customer service. -5 stars.

I will just find another way to watch this and get my money back.

If I could leave negative stars I would
November 14, 2021

To get into the confusing details, I will say my day and night has been full of frustration. I bought an AEW ppv 2 days early might I add through bleacher report app in order to be "ready" ahead of time.
To my dismay, even after activating my Xbox one for like the 20th time for Bleacher Report, I cannot access the AEW ppv I had purchased. So I get on the app on my iPhone and go to view purchases and it says no purchases stored. I literally have the screenshot of my Apple ID and receipt for my purchase and whatever is wrong with their system has to be happening to people other than me. Their customer service is legitimately almost Non Reachable. Emails take forever to get responded too. Live chat doesn't even exist because it disconnects you. And when I did get through to customer service on phone he tells me to email them!
I said I have 4 times! Second time I told him this he must not understand or has a bad connection. So I start reading the reference number emailed back to me about the issue I sent screenshots of and also my receipt and he can't hear the final numbers and the line cuts off. Are you kidding me?
I will never buy anything through this crap company again. STAY AWAY!

Ordered an AEW PPV, but unfortunately, I couldn't watch it live. Website doesn't let you start the stream from the beginning, and the replay isn't available until THE NEXT DAY, and all the while the wesbite posts SPOILERS in real time. Fite.tv gives you all of that, and DOESN'T post spoilers. I learned my lesson, and will not be using this website again.

Suppressive media outlet
October 15, 2020

As long as you adhere to their left leaning, inciting, agenda you'll be fine. Do not expect anything close to average sports info content. Minor league of sport content, so shallow a kindergartner could write it.

First, the complaints: I subscribed to the soccer pass 2018-19 mainly for Champions and Europa matches and shows, Belgian Pro League and Swiss Cup matches as advertised. No Swiss Cup matches ever showed. No big deal, wrote it off as a minor annoyance and some behind-the-scenes issues. I went into this year with the plan to purchase single events on an as-requested basis. So far, 2 out of the 3 matches I've purchased have had major technical issues unresolved until 20-30 minutes into the match. Unacceptable! My account conveniently has presented me with a blank, black screen for months now so it's no surprise the Customer Service agent could not even confirm my purchase. I had to resort to a series of snip-and-paste screenshots via email to prove my purchase and tech issues. I will not be making any more purchases unless I can clearly see the match will be viewable from the start. There's a reason I subscribe to multiple services but only consistently have a problem with Bleacher Report Live. Get your s**t together already.
I also want to add that your monthly and yearly pass will automatically renew without any user-friendly option to cancel online. You must call in or email them to cancel. And they hold your credit card info hostage, no option to change or remove the card without calling. I can guarantee you nobody wants to do that.
*EDIT* I am editing this to add that this service is great to purchase individual matches, as I'd have no access to Standard Liege matches any other way. Being able to watch this rather obscure team (in America) is excellent and the prices are a bargain. B/R seems to have ironed out some of the technical issues I spoke of earlier and at least now I can see my purchases in my account although I am still not pleased about not having access to my own credit card info online. I will continue to be a customer for individual matches as long as they are showing what I want to see.

Save your money
May 9, 2019

Customer service is atrocious. There are no replays for over 24 hours and there is only the ability to start an event from a live location, even though they advertise on demand (see attached photo from their website). No true sports fan wants to watch their team beginning in the 3rd quarter, the middle of the second half, or the 16th hole. The fact that you pay as much as you do to not be able to watch an event on demand is absurd. They advertise widely watch your event live or on demand (again, see photo), but the fine print says you will need to wait at least 24 hours for that replay, probably 23 hours after you know what already happened. If you try to call, you'll spend hours on the phone only to learn these horrible facts and that there are no refunds whatsoever for anything, another part of their fine print

For 2 hours yesterday (3/2/2019) i tried to get the San Diego Fleet vs. Memphis Express AAF game to load, unsucessfully. I tried on my Surface 3 and my Galaxy S8 to no avail. It would work for moment, then buffer, and then switch to a camera from pregame showing an empty field! If the survival of the AAF is dependent on this horrible medium to cover their games, it is doomed!

Worst Service Ever
November 26, 2018

Could not get the Tiger Vs. Phil to load. Tried to get refund. They said go to Itunes. Itunes said go to B/R. 20 min on hold and the customer service rep said I did not have an account? I was signed in at the time!

Lost my $20 bucks.

This service is a rip off.

Stay away.

Angry!
October 4, 2018

Paid for a single viewing of Champions League match on replay and it ruined everything for me. Watched for 10 minutes, then it jumped forward to the end of the match displaying the final score.
I started it again so I could at least watch the match despite knowing the end result and it kept repeating, jumping forward, and becoming blurry.
Absolutely awful ripoff. Never again.

Terrible coverage
October 3, 2018

I agree with the post previously written on here... I signed up to watch the Champions League because we pretty much have no choice after the switch from Fox Sports. The service is spotty and the price is down right ridiculous. To me, it's price gauging. You go from being able to watch almost all games in group stages last year to only seeing 1 game per time slot this year. I also read through another article that next year's coverage (2019/2020) will be exclusively through Bleacher Report where you have no choice but to pay except for the semi finals and final game. Not sure if that article is credible but at this rate I don't doubt it.

Bleacher report was the worst mistake UEFA made for fans in the US.

Extremely Disappointing
September 20, 2018

I signed up with Bleacher Report Live to watch Champions League football. I signed up for $9.99 for. Month. After inputting all my credit card and address info I got a message I was successfully signed up. A minute later I got. Message saying there was no satellite in my area. I know that is not true, plus I was trying to stream on my IPad. I subsequently got an email saying If I had any trouble call us. I called and was told I needed to load the app on the IPad or launch to a specific URL. I asked for a credit because I could not watch the match I signed up for. I was told I could watch a rerun. I told him I had no interest in that. He said he was sorry but they don't do refunds. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He told me his supervisor would tell me the same thing. I said I wanted to speak anyway. He put me on hold for 15 mins and came back on and told me his supervisor was tied up. Champions League should have stayed with FOX.

Used to be good.
July 5, 2018

Bleacher used to be my escape from ESPN and their garbage, unfortunately, Bleacher is just as bad now. It's basically an NBA website where they put the majority of their resources into the NBA. They used to do a great job with college football, NHL, and others but now the content is limited and sloppy for anything non NBA. If your obsessed with the NBA go for it, if you like other sports try NBC sports, CBS sports, or others.

Signed up for sports updates for NFL and most SEC NCACF teams. Nothing is received on weekends (?) and only occasionally during the week. Any response to my question to their "Contact Us" link was likewise missing in action.

Any alternatives to be recommended?
