Pay Issue
October 31, 2023

Had a error with my debit card declining my transaction. I submitted my ticket following the email letting me know my payment didn't go though. Brooke reached out to me within 1-2 business days and and let me know that she was able to get the payment to go through and my order was being processed. I let her know I simply made another order. Brooke was able to issue a refund and cancel my order.

BHQ offers good selection and prices but lags behind other knife vendors in customer service that offer comparable selection and prices. Every time I login to my BHQ account I get a gratuitous scare email about new login. When I objected I was promised by BHQ that this would stop. But it hasn't. And when I confronted them on this they just went back on their promise to me. So I'm switching from now on. I have two outstanding orders with them. They will be my last with BHQ.

I ordered a knife that was on back order and wouldn't ship for a while. I needed the knife and wanted to go with an alternative. Brooke responded to this challenge and allowed me to get what I needed from BladeHQ in a very short period of time. Excellent customer service all around!

So, Dallas was very helpful; she's not the issue. I went to log into my account, and it said there was no account associated with my email address. But there should have been. I ended up creating a new account with that email address, then decided there must be a problem and called customer service. IT did a superficial investigation, and got it wrong. They responded I had problems logging in, and then I successfully logged in. They never looked to see if the account was newly created, and still need to look at my previous orders (order numbers provided) to determine why my account was deleted.

A perfect correction

Had some issues with the tracking not working, and when my knife got in it was the wrong steel. I was however given a few options on how I could fix the situation ranging from a return and reship, to an amount returned to me. I wound up taking the return which I thought was a generous amount. Helped secure me as a repeat customer!
