Purchased a bike from this website, Told me they are in stock and will be shipped in 3-7 business days. Once I purchased it, it then notified my in my receipt the estimated ship date is 2-3 months later because of high numbers of orders. Extremely disappointed they didnt make me aware of this before purchase, as I would have holded off until winter to purchase for next spring. Wont even have the bike until late september and I live in nothern NY. Thats end of biking season.
I can't say enough about Bikesdirect.com. They are the best. The quality of the bikes is fantastic for the price. And the customer service is just great. Over the years I have bought quite a few bikes from them, and every once in a while there is a question or a problem with a little shipping damage. Their customer service representative, Larry, is really helpful. He will walk you through a fix, or refund your money for any part that you may have to buy. He is just wonderful. Five stars? If you had six or seven, I would give Bikesdirect.com all of those. Again, you can't go wrong with Bikesdirect.com!
A business whose support is felt through every step of the way, in every detail; from initial purchase to shipping to any concerns afterwards. In my case, it was some minor cosmetic damage during shipping. But customer rep Larry was there to help! Even though the damage wasn't their fault, Larry put my newbie-biker mind at ease and made everything right. Definitely would not hesitate to recommend Bike Direct to friends.

A big shout out to Larry in the service group. My daughter's bike arrived last September but she only rode it a couple times before school went fully remote. When she started riding again yesterday (schools are back, thankfully), a part of the brake became disassembled and some of the adjustment bushings were lost. Larry sent me a new assembly. It's a nice bike and the kiddo can't wait to get back on it this spring.
I think this is the best purchase I made during all the quarantine time, it is healthy and beneficial for me and my body. The quality is good. I already took a ride on my new city bike. It's just perfect. Thanks a lot.
I purchased a bike and it was delivered on time. It was defective and not the color advertised/purchased. Even though they have what I want in stock, they don't do exchanges. In order to return the bike they want ME to pay to return it to THEM.

Bought a 2021 Motobecane FANTOM CF Eagle MTB. Website says it's 22-25 pounds. Not even close... weighed in at 30 pounds (without pedals). Was expecting the light weight of a more expensive bike. Not a bad bike but exactly what you would expect at this price point.

Received a beat up box frame scratched and bent back rim! You can't even call them! Only email, number provided is to process payments only. Had to file a claim with PayPal thanks to there third world service. I highly don't recommend!
