I ordered a TPM encryption add-on device for my PC on Amazon.ca. The order was processed by BidDeal, one of their marketplace reseller. A few days later the status changed to shipped and I got a tracking number. But the tracking number never became recognized by Canada Post. Weeks after the latest possible delivery date, the item had not arrived. I contacted the seller (bidDeal): no response one week later!
Fortunately Amazon was honest enough to reimburse me.
We ordered an LG gaming monitor through Amazon. Seller was BidDeal. Now they are not accepting to return the product easily like other suppliers. Always check the reputation of a seller before ordering expensive items from Amazon. Amazon's service is good but some third parties have awful services. Whoever wants to order any products from BidDeal, here is the return policy:
"We accept returns for new, unopened product (New, Unopened and Sealed if the package was sealed) within 30 days of your order being received. We charge a 10% restocking fee on all unopened returned items. If you are returning an item that has been opened but not used we charge a 20% restocking fee."
It means you not only need to pay the return postages but also you need to pay 10% or 20% for the restocking fee. That part is ridiculous.
I like their service. Ordered a Xiaomi Smartphone. I bought it for a nice price which is comparatively very less than others. Before buying I contacted them asking the the specifications of the product. I enjoyed their Average Client Service. Overall I would say they provide us good services.
I really wish I would have seen this site before I ordered a Chromebook from them through Amazon. People, everything you're reading on here about Biddeal is true. They took a week just to acknowledge they received my order... then delayed shipping it until I got Amazon involved. They then provided me with a fake tracking number. To top it off the Chromebook was less than satisfactory so had to return it. Again had to get Amazon involved just to get a return address etc. Once I saw they had received it (I paid extra for signature) they then played dumb and said they'd try to "find" it. Had to get Amazon involved again by filing a claim. They're are now refunding a partial payment because they have a restocking fee. DO NOT ORDER FROM BIDDEAL. I really wish I would have seen this site and heeded this advice. It's astonishing that they get away with this ad SO many people having gone through the same thing... and Amazon site shows nothing of this. Buy beware.
Purchased a stereo through amazon and it was defective. I was told i had to pay return postage $41.07 which was garbage. Item was returned having never been able to use it but the extended warranty and a % of $$$ was deducted. Amazon got Biddeal to agree to cover return postage, but after 2 months they finally covered a % of it. Not impressed Lie to you customers
Un-cooperative, rude, ignorant... worst customer service I have ever had in my life... actually NO customer service... DO NOT DEAL WITH BIDDEAL! Suspect they sold me refurbished phones as new ones... lasted 90 days! JUNK!
I was told I couldn't get the cash registered I ordered delivered to my store, as it was out of their area. Tracking shows it is being shipped Canada Post... guess what, I'm a post office. Now I have to drive 7 hours, round trip to pick it up!
I purchased a brother printer on Amazon. I received it. It remained in the box for a while i needed to find space for it. When I set it up. I found that I needed ink. Electronic express. I installed the ink and thee printer did not recognize the ink was installed. I asked amazon for a return, I received an email in 24 hrs from bid deal.- they don''t take returns after 30 days but they wont fix it either
Ordered wrong item through WalMart late on night. Within 15 minutes discovered my mistake. Put in for cancelation of order which was stated I could do if done before shipping. Next day late afternoon, received notification they shipped. Looked for return URL on WalMart. Found it and clicked. Nothing came up after several attempts. RIPOFF! Don't patronize!
Bought the Plantar Fasciitis supports. They look like they are worth £1 at most. The stitching is very amateurish and the supports are extremely flimsy. They are just not fit for purpose.
On contacting BidDeal they just don't want to know and say that they don't give refunds on discounted goods, yet all their goods are discounted! I have quoted consumer rights and acts and their own promise policy to no avail. Next step their social media advertisers.
I purchased an item from Biddeal through Amazon. They make a statement that their return policy is consistent with Amazon"s policy, BUT you have to read the small print on two different pages to find out they charge a 10 percent restocking charge on unopened packages; 20 percent if you have opened it. Also, check out the extremely high handling and shipping fee Biddeal charges. I recommend not doing any business with this company.
Bought an item through Amazon from BidDeal. Didn't realize that they don't ship the product for at least a week from order and it was going to arrive after Christmas since they use snail mail. I therefore immediately put in a request for cancellation of the order and the response from the system was that it could be too late based on how fast they are. Of course I then get a shipping notice a week later (not fast). I sent in a second cancellation request and got a response that it has already shipped therefore i can't cancel. After repeated emails back and forth it cost me $15 to ship a $40 product back to them and an email telling me that they are following their policy. Do not deal with these people. HORRIBLE!
I bought over $100.00 worth of bids, Didn't win anything lost it all, if your O. K. with gambling then this is a place for you, they offer some discounts on items for the money you spent on auctions which you didn't win, none of the merchandise I have any use for... The Power players are very hard to beat, on occasion some one seems to win something for a small amount, but it certainly wasn't me.the auctions takes forever to end, every time you place a bid the clock goes back to 30 seconds, and when your betting a penny it takes a long time for that auction to get to a point where someone could win. I got sucked into it. Please Watch the site carefully before buying!
Unless you've got money and time to throw away - Not to be trusted. Watched for a long time and placed a few bids - curious - when I bid at the one second mark two times my bid was disqualified and someone else won. Other times it wasn't disqualified (when there was no winner) which makes me wonder if the site is rigged. Basically though, it is gambling and the odds are very much against winning anything from them.
I purchased a computer from biddeal through Amazon.ca but biddeal shipped me the wrong item. When I contacted the supplier to request a refund and the supplier gave the following responses:
- 'We have discovered a listing error on the Amazon site and are forced to cancel your order. The product we have in inventory doesn't correspond to the product you ordered.'
- 'Please return your package using the regular postal service (Canada Post or US Postal Service)... Orders sent via Fedex, UPS or other carrier where the custom charges or COD charges apply will be returned to sender.'
- We accept returns for new, unopened product (New, Unopened and Sealed if the package was sealed) within 30 days of your order being received. We charge a 10% restocking fee on all unopened returned items. If you are returning an item that has been opened but not used we charge a 20% restocking fee.
Since biddeal has refused to provide full refund and cover the shipping cost, I contacted Amazon A-Z team and *******@amazon.com (Jeff Bezos - Amazon CEO) for assistance. However, they are unwilling to apply Amazon.com A-Z policy (which requires seller to issue full refund and cover shipping cost in this case) to Amazon.ca.
I end up contacting my local consumer protection agency for assistance
These people are terrible. They have a customer service number but no one answers it and when you leave a message no one returns calls. I left emails with there website and no response. Until I got PayPal involved there was no movement of my product. Then after 4 days of taking my money and not processing the order they send it USPS didn't expedite it. There is no customer service with these people. Buyer Beware
I've ordered a sewing machine on Amazon.ca. Got the package, and discover it was a cheaper, inferior model machine and not the one I've ordered and paid for.
When I sent them an email, they told me that it was a "listing mistake" and that I should send the machine back (presumably on my own cost) and they will refund me what I've paid... Oh, and sorry...
NOT acceptable - they sell and take money for items they don't have in stock and them expect people to pay for their "mistakes"...
Biddeal_co SUCKS! They flat out suck... I ordered a PlayStation 3 controller which they marked as shipped, then told me it was on back order and to wait a month. If I never receive my product, then the order would be automatically cancelled and my money refunded. These bastards got me real good... Every time I tried to cancel they sent me an email stating to go into my orders and hit the cancel button... News flash! These $#*!s marked it as shipped already! Therefore no cancellation is possible. Who does that?!? Why would you mark it as shipped if it was never shipped?!? F**k Biddeal_co! I hope what you call a "business" flops and to the owner/management... I hope someone sends you a big box of horse s**t first class, you t**t...
I ordered a book from Biddeal, through Amazon.com. The book arrived in good shape, and I placed it on my shelves. Three weeks later, I went to read the book, and it was in French! This wasn't noted in the advertising description. I asked Biddeal for a replacement or a refund. No response. I contacted Amazon with it's "90 day" a to z guarantee. They refused to honor the guarantee because I didn't file a claim in 14 days! At first I believed Biddeal made an honest mistake, and sent the wrong book, not knowing it was in French. Now, I'm not so sure. Looks like they may be trying to dump unsaleable books, just to make an extra $10. Sad!
Bought an under the cabinet radio for a Christmas present. Shipped very quickly. Radio was defective and I was worried because of the service reviews I had read. I emailed customer service on a sunday. Within 3 hours I received a confirmation and an email from the service dept. I mailed the radio to them Monday at lunch time and received a full refund including the postage on Thursday. Excellent customer service!
