This time, my order was perfect. But the last order I had, I received a damaged item that fell apart after only 3 wears. I also saw that, with this pair of boots I bought, their price was further reduced just days after I bought it. If the difference had been more than just $3, I would have sought a price adjustment.
I usually have a decent experience with bhfo. Sometimes the items are "what you ordered vs what you got" mostly because there is usually only one insufficient picture per product. It's just a risk that you take. Unfortunately, I've received the wrong size more than once.
The shipping prices are discouraging. I cleared out most of my cart just to decrease the price for shipping by a little bit.
I am not happy with ordering a final sale item. It's not right that it can't be returned for "another item" even. When ordering anything on line...it's hard to know if any product will fit correctly until we get it. As a matter of fact the boots I ordered...it just so happens, I could have sized up. But didn't know that until I received them and tried on. Now I am stuck because it was a final sale. That truly stinks!
I purchased these free people pants in teal/black combo what I received was the opposite. I received white/black combo. I would never order transparent pants. I immediately contacted overstock & was advised it was a marketplace seller "BHFO". I called BHFO left 3 messages no response. I also emailed them no response. I have given this company plenty of time to respond and they do not. What a waste of $ & their customer service stinks. And I also ordered free people bra and it looked used. No tags.
I ordered a handful of slacks in hopes to find something that fit me as I typically still wear junior sizes. Unfortunately, for me, the clothes did not fit my body the way I wanted. If they had fit I would have kept every single pair. All were as pictured, wrapped and sealed when received in a timely manner and were all quality clothing!
I purchased a pair of white leather Converse through Amazon. First of all, spent $7.99 shipping and it took forever. I received packages from the UK in less time. Then I opened the box -- 2 completely different shoes! I returned them within 2 days of receiving. Then, even though it was their screw up, they refused to refund the $7.99 shipping.
I purchased a coat from bhfo from Overstock and didn't receive it. I am now having an issue in getting my money back I will never order another item from bhfo they do not honor their shipping. Buyer beware.
I bought several shirts as gifts. The XL size was smaller than most retailers' size large so I had to return them. They charged me shipping for the return even though their product sizing was WAY off! My total cost for shipping both ways was nearly half the cost of the shirts. I spoke with their customer service rep who basically said that's too bad.

The site is easy, however the search engine doesn't always work right when you type in a specific color etc. so you are forced to scroll through every page till you find what you like., and the auto correct is always changing spelling, i guess if it doesn't match whatever algorithm the site has.
It would have been nicer if i could have just typed in the color i wanted and the page went to it but every time i did it wouldn't, so i had to seat and scroll 14 pages to find what i wanted.
It is always easy to navigate the site.
Just easy, lets hope i get my sneaker this time.
Buyer beware! They say items are brand new, but this "Some of the products we offer may have been on a sales floor and could have been tried on many times, just like what you find when you shop at a retail store. In addition, most of our items have also been sent through a reverse supply chain. This means it went from a retailer back to a centralized warehouse, so they have been subjected to additional handling and may show signs of slight imperfections. But they are still incredible values. " is what they emailed to me in response to the dress I received being a damaged. They told me it's reparable, and I can return it and pay shipping or I can pay on my own to have it repaired. Just know that what you order may have "imperfections" aka damage and they won't tell you that before you purchase.
For over 14 years, from eBay to their website I've ordered from BHFO. Around 7 years ago, things changed.
As a Canadian, I do not recommend them. Shipping is crazy and customs fees are RIDICULOUS!
Order was $26.45 US for 2 t shirts and an all in one spandex jumper.
Around $34 Canadian already kinda high, honestly.
Then to be hit with a $15.75 customs fee?! For 3 items weighing less 2 lbs?! With that price value?
No matter the deal you get, outside of America it's not a true deal after exchange rates, shipping and customs. Usually more expensive than even buying the item new.
First of all, I got an email claiming the site offered 30% off certain items. But there is no way to tell which items when you shop. Naturally, all the dresses I chose were excluded from the sale. Two of the dresses were poorly made and looked much shabbier in real life than in the picture on the website. They were also final sale. The floral Sam Edelson dress was particularly ill fitting and cheap-looking. It is unwearable. The sleeves are much too loose and droop down off the shoulders. I can't figure out for the life of me how it is supposed to fit! A complete waste of money. I have opted out of texts and emails from BHFO because they don't appreciate customer loyalty.
They sent a dress that has an ink tag on it and I had to wait 21/2 days for them to respond to my email and then they asked me to drive around the city begging different random department stores to remove the ink tab. Spoke for these strangers and said they would be "happy" to help. BS. Btw the reason I shop online is so I don't have to walk into a department store because I don't have time for that. They were not apologetic and I am very displeased with their response. I needed this dress for a dinner and they ruined my dinner for me. I am trying to get my money back and this is very frustrating.
I recently ordered Puma sneakers from Australia. Since we're in lockdown, I can't buy them here and am not interested in getting them from China. They eventually arrived and I loved them. Unfortunately, even though I deliberately ordered bigger size to allow for inserts and socks, they are simply too big for me to wear. The BHFO did offer a refund if I paid the return postage. That would automatically cost me half the amount I paid for them. I will try to sell them but this annoying and time wasting experience has certainly put me off shopping online, especially for clothes. I'll NEVER do it again. Goodbye and good luck to you
I have already made several orders. There was one return. Everything is fine. Some things come across very stylish and quite cheap. But if this is the final sale, there is no return, you may not get what you imagined - this is your risk.
I bought a shirt and never got it. They first said it was already arrived, then in transit, then to write them if I didn't get it by Dec. 28. I did write them on that day day. Today Ebay said the case was closed because it was "inactive for 21 days". But its only 11 days between Dec. 28 and now. After closing the case on false pretences, and refusing the usual Ebay coverage, Ebay blocked me from leaving feedback on either the missing item or BHFO. I saw the very item they supposedly sent to me has been relisted on EBay! I am doing feedback here to help others! Avoid them like the plague!
I purchased $57 worth of clothes from them. I kept one item ($14). The other items were either bad quality, didn't have tags, on one of them the tag literally said it was a free gift not for resale but i had been charged for it. Anyway, I was refunded only $11 of what should have been $43 and they have not given me a reason.

I bought a pair of shoes in the size I normally wear. Unfortunately they did not fit. Attempts to return the item were met with numerous obstacles created by BHFO: delay in respond to request for return, mis-direction to bad link for printing return label, more delay in answering request, lack of contact number for question, lack of human customer support, very short deadline for return (especially given delay in response). This is without a hesitation the most difficult return process I have ever experience. I will never buy from this retailer again regardless of discount. Amazon is a much more friendly, honorable retailer.

Ordered over $400 worth of items. Received one defective item $6.99 and one wrong size item $11.99. I sent two emails (Wed and sat), no response. I called today, Mon, someone immediately answered and told me to email pictures. I did, they responded and asked for more pictures. So they're just dragging this whole process on over a $6.99 and $11.99 shirt that shouldn't have been sent to me anyway, they shouldn't need pics, they should have inspected items prior to sending out so there weren't defects and so the sizes are the correct sizes I ordered. So now I am resorting to post negative reviews and go to my credit card company to make it this right because they will not give me a solution to rectify a situation that is clearly their error. For a company that boasts on their customer service, it's really been either lacking or just difficult to deal with.
