I'm grateful that Better Speech was recommended to me. With the pandemic going on, we can't risk sending our child to the clinic. We found out that doing the sessions at home works best for us. I didn't think it was possible at first, but later realized that it's as effective as in-clinic therapy. This company has exceeded our expectations in terms of service and Johanna, our daughter's therapist, is doing such a great job helping her. Thank you!
I only had 1 therapy session but was charged for 5 weeks because I couldn't cancel my subscription. Customer support will purposely ignore your calls/emails. Website purposely misleads you into thinking you're paying per session when in reality you're being charged weekly. They make you fill out a form if you want to cancel your subscription, causing further inconvenience. Be prepared to pay an additional week or two then you sign up for because they will purposely wait a few days before stopping your subscription.

I am extremely happy with the service they have given me and my daughter. I can't thank my daughter's therapist enough for being so professional and accommodating. She was very patient and has connected well with my daughter. I'm amazed at how much she's improved in such a short period of time. Thank you for your excellent service. We are happy that my child's speech is now more developed. At first, I was hesitant to register my son for the program because he's only 5 years old. I thought my son would not pay enough attention to the speech therapist as the therapy sessions will be done online. Gladly, Better Speech has well-experienced therapists in handling kids like mine, so I gave it a shot. My son shows a lot of improvement since then and became more confident to communicate with us verbally. Highly recommended. Thanks again!

The therapist I had was actually good. And what I learned was helpful. Signing up was weird though. The lady I had for a consultation call tried to get me sign up and pay for the service before I got off the phone. I politely declined, and unfortunately signed up anyways. My first session want bad, Thought I was too busy to justify continuing to use this service. They tried getting me on a call to cancel. I was busy, and had zero desire to waste my time. Yet they insisted I was "Required" to hop on a call to cancel.
Honestly, avoid these people. They come across as desperate.

We had 10-12 sessions with a Better Speech therapist for my 10-year-old son who had a few sounds he was still struggling with. My son loved his therapist and was excited about their weekly sessions. The online/virtual approach was perfect for our busy schedule. We're so happy about the increased confidence in speech my son now has as a result of being easier understood. Highly recommended.

Give child a quiet place to participate. Provide a good microphone/headset.

Use your money on something that actually will help you with your speech! The best thing I did was go to an actual professional And get help! My speech person at better speech was so unprofessional, it was shocking that this is an actual business and they actually charge people for this!

Never link your credit card to this company. It is a total scam. They charged me twice for sessions I never reviewed. I had to call and write to get it refunded. Two month's later, another two charges posted on my credit card for sessions I never even signed up AFTER I have cancelled my subscription completely a month ago!

I was very lucky to be matched with my speech therapist Lisa. She was very adept at recognizing patterns within my speech even if they weren't very obvious. Some of it I am not even aware. She then assigned me with homeworks to ensure that I am also helping myself improve even outside the therapy sessions. My speech has improved in a way that I thought not possible.

We had a couple of sessions with Better Speech, and were getting charged the recurring $59.6 months after cancelling, they are trying to retroactively bill me for sessions that never occurred. I've had to dispute charges with my credit card company and it has been impossible to get someone on the phone to resolve the billing issue. Even after the dispute went through and I got refunded - 2 months later they charged me AGAIN and i'm forced to do this whole charge dispute dance again. Save yourself the headache and avoid.
I had a great experience with Better Speech. I can say that my communication skills have improved. Speech treatment at home is more convenient and saves me time from having to travel to the clinic. I am very satisfied not to mention my therapist, who has been extremely helpful throughout my speech therapy journey.

I can't access any materials that I just subscribed to- the system cannot "confirm my email", and I need to contact support- but the email address for their "support" doesn't exist: mt email bounced immediately.

They sent me an email on Dec 19th that someone will call me in 2 days. No one called me for 2 weeks. I initiated the first session and no one showed up. They only took my money.

Online speech therapy with Better Speech has worked well for me. This was my 3rd try at online speech therapy and I wish I had known Better Speech earlier. Their plans are affordable compared to other online speech therapy. I am also happy with my speech therapist as she has countless experiences of my case -she knows how to treat me well and I am constantly improving.

Sad, I thought it was a legitimate business. Paid for 1st session which therapist cancelled during Thanksgiving week. I called after holiday and emailed x 3 with no response. On December 10th they charged my credit card for another session. I filed complaint with Speech Therapy in NC. They are not listed with Better Business Bureau. Do not use or trust them.
