Scam Company!

I placed an order for a Raquel Welch wig. It cost me $160.00. I ordered from this company in good faith and I should have read the reviews first. I am battling cancer presently for the second time and ordered the wig tomorrow wear for my birthday and what I received was an empty wig box.

Federal Express delivered my package fine. It was not ripped open or tampered with. I told this to the company immediately and showed them pictures of everything I got. They even got confirmation from FedEx that my package was delivered perfectly.

The two women I spoke to at BestWigOutlet treated me like a criminal and left me in tears. The company told me that we're going to file a claim with FedEx and I would have to wait. They are committing fraud, because FedEx did nothing wrong.

They didn't want to believe that perhaps something happened in their warehouse/packing department. They no longer will answer my calls or get back to me. They were so rude to me. Please do not order from this company. I am beside myself and don't want this to happen to anyone else.

Update to my last post. They asked me to remove a review I posted of them and they would refund the remainder of my refund. I said, is it you making the request or is it the manufacturer? They said, "No, the manufacturer has nothing to do with this". They told me they would not refund the remainder of my refund unless I removed my review. I'm sorry, that's against the law. It scares me how illegal and unethical this company is. Sorry, can't do that in the USA. Not sure where they're from, but in the USA, if you retaliate by holding someone's money because they posted a review of you, that's a violation of CRFA. For those of you who they are doing this to, please reach out to the Attorney General and the FTC so that they can bring charges against them.

Just dont. Seriously, even the manufacturer of the wig company I contacted after the wig was defective told me not to purchase from them. I got a lovely human hair piece and after I washed it like the manufacturer instructs buyers to do, it got matted and stiff. I called the manufacturer immediately to let them know and BWO declined the return. I had to call the manufacturer (Jon Renau) back again to have them call BWO because they told me, "I doubt you even spoke to anyone at Jon Renau". Rude! Horribly rude girl. I gave BWO the individual's name and number from Jon Renau and they promptly sent me a return receipt. I shipped it back and now they are emailing me saying, "Jon Renau says they will only give you 50% back because you washed it". Duh! That's what they tell you to do within the first 14 days for a test wash to ensure you don't have any issues. Lie #1. Then I called Jon Renau again to see if they could help and they said, "We do not even have the piece because there's no quality control number or return under your name". I continued to demand a full refund. Then BWO emailed again saying "Jon Renau is only offering $1600 (their final offer) back and that if you don't take it, they will send the hair back to you, and we know you don't want that". Really? They kept asking me who I had spoken to, when I spoke to them, their number etc, which I had given them weeks ago. I finally asked who the person was at Jon Renau telling them this and asked for the QC number. Crickets! I gave them until Friday to complete a full refund or I would 1. Retain an attorney, which I have already done 2. Contact the BBB and Federal Trade Commission. 3. Launch a social media campaign and contact the media in SoCal to inform them of their predatory and fraudulent practices.

I told Jon Renau that I had another human hairpiece from them and that it felt nothing like the one from BWO and that I had doubts about the hair being human hair. After looking at reviews on BWO, it wouldn't surprise me if it was synthetic. Just save your money. Lots of other online retailers are so much better. I purchase from Frannie's Hair now, who is so nice and if you don't like it, you can return it and then she will resell it as an Open Box at a discount. She is just a lovely person. So nice to know good companies still exist. BWO is not one of them. I have lots of pics and videos but the website won't recognize my files... sorry.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered from this site, I contacted them and requested a RMA to return the SAME DAY I received in mail after I seen in person I wasn't satisfied because didn't look how it did online and returned the following days and shipped back. Paid shipping out of my pocket to send back which was over $20 and when they refunded they deducted $40 off of my $270 return bc they said it was used and part of that was 12.99 they said for shipping costs when they sent it to me. I didn't even use or wear it, I literally seen what it looked like out the box and wasn't satisfied what it was in person. It was of same quality as it was when I received. They accused that it was used and deducted my money. So I paid them about $70 for nothing. They don't really have good customer support and not very nice on the phone. Reporting to BBB

I purchase 90% of all purchases online.
Never have I come across a company like this! I am being charged $70 plus dollars to return a $339.00 wig! There is no negotiating, customer service has no ability to work with the consumer. They are in total charge of declaring the item is not packaged correctly and a cleaning fee is needed! Crazy! It was on my head for try-on and went right back into the original bag and box! Wish I could give this company zero stars! Save your money. Do not purchase from Best Wigs Outlet.

I won't be buying from here again

I bought Wavy Day by Raquel Welch and waited two weeks for the item to even ship. So that's the first thing. The wig came in nice packaging and it's a beautiful color, however after one day of wearing it the lace starting to completely fall apart and I have a hard time believing that this has anything to do with Raquel Welch quality as this brand is highly recommended by so many people. Also I paid over $200 for this wig after shipping so yeah I'm very disappointed and after reading the reviews here, I don't even want to attempt to exchange this item or return it. It seems like h3ll. I'd rather just spend my money elsewhere. Im going to try wig studio 1 next. Don't buy from here. Quality seems shaky. There's probably other businesses that will take your money into consideration.

Questionable product.

I ordered a Raquel Welch topper and knew right away that it was not the same quality as her other hair pieces. Even the clips were flimsy. Order from WigOutlet they are a reputable business. Stay away from this company.I would have not given any stars if that was possible.

I recently called regarding my order for the Classic by HIM and they were very transparent with me and explained exactly what my order status was at. I am very happy with the communication as I find that the other wig companies don't give me info and just leave me hanging. I look forward to having business with them again!

Terrible customer service

I ordered two wigs, one of which I was familiar with and had ordered and received from a different site. The second wig I ordered did not meet my requirements and when I first contacted them 8 days later received no response. After repeated attempts I was told over 30 days later my wig was not eligible for return. Will never do business with this company again.

Terrible service
November 2, 2023

I received my order, wig net was rolled in a ball under the wig, bangs looked like they had been cut. I returned the item.
It took 21 days to finally get someone to address the refund.
Still waiting for the refund to my account and with a 15% restocking fee, I will never shop Nest Wig Outlet again.
Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere!

The Best Wig Outlet sent the wrong wig!

Jan 20,2023 I ordered a platinim blonde wig with dark roots per the picture on the site. Yesterday, 2/2/24, I received a beige blond wig without darker roots. The wig us a "no return, no refund" purchase, so what to do when the wig received is a misrepresentation of the wig I thought I bought? I'm beyond disappointed, so called customer service, and I am to receive a call back. I've never had a problem purchasing wigs online before, but I believe this is the first time with this company.

Wig not as advertised

The wig I purchased was advertised as wearable right out of the box. It is not. It's a bunch of hair on a base with no texture or style. It was advertised as Raquel Welch but I doubt that it is. Definitely false advertising. Unfortunately, this company has a no exchange/no refund policy so buyer beware.

They are the worst at accepting returns and will charge you significant restocking fees and additional fees because it had been taken out of the net. (Note the net was attached to the box so by simply removing the product from the box removed the net). They basically get paid for sending you a poor product because the keep half of your money if you return and then resell the piece to someone else. Beware of their business practices. So many other outlets are worthy of your business. Avoid BWO.

Returned and offered $100 because they said the wig was tangled, scratchy, and had a smell.

No kidding Einstein, that's why I returned it.

My order came to $336.11. The color was very "off" and the wig fit very loose (I'm an average size person). I returned the wig and was charged a $50 restock fee and $15 cleaning fee! $65 just for returning! Will never order from them again!

Good luck returning any wig that doesnt fit or work and get your refund!

I bough multiple wigs with issues I kept because I need but one wig specifically I bought
I tried and returned as it was sent to me with all proper repacking and documentation and I was
Still charged over $60 for restocking and refreshing wig. Bullocks the wig was in perfect condition

So if you buy anything for Best Wig Outlet make sure to keep it or you'll lose a good chunk of your money.

It is unfortunate that this company totally misleads you by claiming you will get your full money back if its not the right wig for you.

Will never buy again from Best Wig Outlet - Better to go local pay more and have professional assistance.

The shipping address I provided is different from my billing address as I have two homes. They refused to process order unless I called and confirmed shipping address. I shop solely online and have never had this happen with any other company. Communication was unprofessional as well. I canceled my order.

I ordered a specific piece. I was shipped a piece that was obviously the wrong color and number. I asked to return it and they said they would approve the return but would evaluate it after receipt... i was not concerned as it was never out of the box. So i sent it back. With proof of return. They claimed when they got it back a week and a half after i originallty received it; that it was with a smell and it was fuzzy. Which was a total fabrication. But made the allegation so they could keep more than half the original purch price. Be warned...

I bought 2 hairpieces. Neither were as described or as color on pics. Cost more to ship back and pay restocking. Photo below of one of the pieces and their online color to show difference. I actually thought I'd ordered the wrong color because it's so far off. But I didn't. Color was listed under gray. There's no gray.

Customer service was rude. Basically saying tough sh**. I'll never use them again.

I ordered the Raquel Welch Simmer Elite with the lace front/hand-tied cap/mono top in Shaded Iced Pumpkin Spice (which is supposed to be a cool red, judging from the "Iced" in the name). I was able to get a great price on bestwigoutlet.com, and the wig was shipped within a reasonable time. The wig itself seems to be of a very nice quality, although I'm new to wig-wearing, so I only know what I've learned through watching LOTS of reviews, etc., on YouTube. The style is probably a little young for me, as I'm just on the verge of turning 65, but I like it so much, I'm keeping it anyway. As for the color, it's somewhat of a chameleon, looking quite different in different lighting situations. I like that it has the darker/brown rooting, because I'm a natural brunette. I'm very happy with my purchase and the service provided by bestwigoutlet.com. Oh, and here's something else that impressed me: I had ordered this wig, and then I immediately ordered another wig. In fact, I ordered it so quickly, they called me to make sure that I had not either ordered it by mistake, or somebody had tried to use my credit card, or whatever. That particular wig, I sent back, as the color didn't suit me, and I'm waiting for the exchange.

Walk Away
