I ordered my mom a combo with a beautiful vase of Lillie's and 3 cheesecakes. The gift was selected to her work and the cheesecakes were warm and don't of the flowers were opened. Just stems and buds. For $118, I'm NOT impressed.
Dont believe the hipe. I just dropped $250 bucks on 3 gift sets. The first arrived today and the flowers are sad beyond belief. The dont look like the set offered on the website. They were damaged and bent. Shipping I'm sure, but they should have that worked out. After all they are an online retailer. The berries look amazing but were extremely green and not yet ripe. Any fool can get a better gift at the local grocery store. So pissed they misrepresented. Sad my Mom's get the second hand flowers and unrippened berries.
Ordered berries & flowers to be delivered for Valentine's Day. The order was never delivered. Very poor customer service. They said their tracking indicated the order was delivered and signed for, except it was not delivered, and we've never heard of the name they claimed signed for it. I would recommend not doing business with this company.
I received the cheesecake bites and dipped strawberries as a gift. It was packaged nicely. I'm not a picky eater, but the food was just ok. The cheesecake bites were nothing special. Bigger than expected however. The taste was just plain nothing stood out about them. The strawberries were huge but had a strange taste. They didn't taste like strawberries. They tasted like they had been soaked in hard alcohol or something. Wasn't too appealing for me. After getting through half of them, I ate the chocolate off the outside and ended up throwing the berries away. In my opinion this is highly overrated.
Ordered for my wife for Valentines Day. Delivery was fine. Berries, not so much. I paid for a full dozen plus shipping plus extra for next day total of about $78.00!
I have heard the radio adds for years about the size of the berries and how fantastic they were... very disappointed. Very average size berries. They did not even fit properly into the holder. They were way smaller than the holder!
The taste was fine just NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
For $80 I was expecting something more than what I could have gone to my local PUBLIX and gotten for way less than half the price.
I had a similar experience that others who have written in have had. The fees that are added on to the order are exorbitant. Although I believe the products to be of good quality, I am displeased at the ultimate expense and as I mentioned to the customer service rep, I will not be ordering from Shari's Berries in the future. The added on fees deem this to be not of good value.
For our 40year wedding anniversary our children bought the fruit of the month for one year. Our first dilevery was pomegranate, they were old and brown when we cut them open. TRASHED! We said okay that's one time. We just revived our second delivery, UGH! So disappointed apples and pears. The apples have brown bruses and one has what appears to be someone's initials poked in it. The pears just look old. I definitely would not recommend using Shari's Gourmet.
The site doesn't allow you to enter the full correct address for a nursing facility. On top of that, I paid for a vase to be included & the confirmation was for a bouquet only. Tried to use Customer Service to correct@ they said it was out to shipping already (1 hr after purchase?) so it couldn't be changed
I got the cookie bouquet for my birthday it came late when I got it they were all broken and the box all destroyed to top it the cookies all broken up and stale,
So I called them and they did offer to send another box out they came in better shape but still stale and hard they taste horrible.
Now I must say I also got strawberries from this same company for my birthday and they were wonderful.
I guess its a chance you take but as for me I wont order or suggest anyone to use them
Berries were ordered for me on Thursday after I had surgery. They were to arrive on Friday but missed a delivery time. They stated they would send out a new package of Berries and I would receive them by Monday. Ok good. The berries arrived Monday from the same tracking number from Thursday... gross. The ice packs were melted, strawberries squished and moldy, package had a horrible odor. I called customer service and they wanted to re-deliver a new package. After their lies I said no. Now they are giving the person who bought them for me a very hard time getting their money back. Stay away from this company horrible. Not worth the expensive price.
I ordered a dozen for my mom on Mother's Day. The quality has nosedived. We've ordered before and received lovely large berries.
This time I spent $80 for "Meh." The berries were on the medium side and sloppy, in my opinion. Thin chocolate too. Wouldn't order from them again.
Ordered these for my mum for mother's day.
The ice pack melted in transit, and if she wouldn't have been there the moment they were delivered, they would have been completely ruined. She placed in the fridge to reharden the chocolate.
I contact customer support to let them know that sending them two day when Washington is having 90 degree weather is not smart. Told them of what my mum got and they promptly delivered NEW berries overnight at no cost.
A+ customer service.
Bought berries for last Valentines Day (2017). Final cost for the $19.00 special was over $61.00. They charge you for picking a delivery day. The berries she received were puny and looked ridiculous bouncing around the molded plastic tray the berries were shipped in. My wife thanked me for the sentiment but said for that price she would rather go out for dinner! THIS WILL NOT IMPRESS HER!
I received the 12 strawberries on Friday, immediately refrigerated, and opened them on Saturday for my Mom's birthday. The strawberries did not look as nice as advertised and were soggy and had rotten spots. I called and received a refund. The customer service rep did not seem surprised at all at my complaint.
Ordered for Mother's day on Wednesday with Friday delivery. Checked tracking on Friday and it shows it will be delivered on Monday. I called and they sent another shipment with a guarantee of it arriving on Sunday for Mother's day. This order shipped on Saturday and again it shows delivery on Monday. I again called and asked to speak with manager. Manager says they have a special agreement with Fedex and it will be delivered as promised. A quick search shows Fedex does not deliver on Sundays. Very upset, will never order from them again.
We ordered a product to be delivered on or before Mother's Day. We called customer service to find out when our product would be delivered, and they informed us that they did not have a local vender to deliver on Mother's Day and that our gift would arrive on Tuesday. This was after their website confirmed delivery by or on Mother's Day. The sad thing is, they never sent me an e-mail or phone call to let me know it would be delayed. To make up for the error, customer service gave us a $20 credit toward our next order. We will not be ordering anything from them again so we are just out that money. Do not order from this company, they are not effiecient or reputable.
I received a gift from my daughter today. After all the hassle she went through. Taking the time and expending her money. The strawberries were not to what I was expecting. The ice on top was melted. The berries were not fresh, almost soggy, very poor qualitiy. I need a phone number to call so she can get her money back.
Berries were pretty bad... soft, mushy, almost like they were frozen and defrosted, and bad tasting... chocolate coating tasted like cheap crappy chocolate, and the white chocolate was almost inedible. Not worth much of anything, and I would recommend not buying these overly expensive junk berries... horrible
Super happy with the chocolate covered strawberry's, I bought the regular chocolate and white chocolate, and they were so delicious, they came super quick. Very happy with my purchase. I will be ordering more!

This company is a rip-off the prices looks cheap but they over charge you on the shipping. This is how they make their money.
I ordered 7 baskets today for $29.99 each to be delivered tomorrow to the same address.
They charged me $14.99+ additional $4.99 for each basket, a total of $19.98 more for each basket for shipping going to the same address.
That's $140.00 more for shipping, when I contacted them by email 7 minutes after I made the order and realized it they emailed me back that they can not cancel the order.
I then called them and spoke to a CS rep that was trying to convince me not to cancel my order after 15 minutes going nowhere with them I hung up the phone.
They should not be in business, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
