Called day after supposed to deliver, left a message, I had to call back and sit on hold a half hr and then talk to someone in a foreign country who made me give him the information of what they were supposed to have. Really a s%^&show
The website is difficult to navigate and I'm a tech savvy user. After figuring out that I actually had placed the order I checked and it had a delivery date other than I requested and on the day of expected delivery once I finally got it fixed using the online chat which took forever I got a call saying it couldn't be delivered and the earliest delivery available was 3 days later. This order was placed for an anniversary and the delivery date is important. I will never order from them again!
My mom ordered these for me for my birthday. The first package came with only the flowers, no berries inside. When the replacement box got here 3 days after they said it would, the berries were broken and moldy, and the flowers were wilted. She spent over $100 for the product and fast shipping. Don't waste your money buying from here.
Apparently since being acquired by 800-Flowers in 2019, Shari's Berries is no longer anything close to the original. The 800-Flowers model uses local florists who clearly do not have the resources or skills to deliver the gorgeous berries and exceptional customer service we all came to love & expect from Shari's. I had no idea I was ordering from 800-Flowers (ugh) until it was too late. Super disappointed that my mom-in-law received these for her 91st birthday. Berries were small, stemless, & smashed. The white chocolate letters spelling "Happy Bday" were also smashed. Seriously it looks like they ran up to Walmart, bought a pint of everyday strawberries, and then had their five-year-old put them together for me. Their initial solution was to send her ANOTHER one (without my permission) and email me a $20 "Savings Pass" for my next order (as if I would ever order from them again). I had to call and stop them as this would only have served to upset & confuse my MIL. I told them to stop the 2nd delivery, declined the "Savings Pass", and said I wanted a 50% refund which I felt was more than generous on my part. She agreed to stop the replacement order and said I would receive a full, 100% refund of $72. I have called them back twice to confirm but am still waiting for the written confirmation email I was promised. Every time you call you start all over again. They act like they can't see any of your earlier calls, which doesn't sound like any ticket system I've ever worked with.
I am so embarrassed by the shoddy gift my MIL received and sad to learn that the real Shari's is gone.
Despite having to wait all day on her birthday for the edible arrangement($112), it finally arrived almost at 7pm! Ok, but the fruit basket was warm, the oranges were almost dehydrated the orange rind was literally curled! The melon slices were also dehydrated! How does that even happen? It would have been cheaper, faster and fresher if we had just gone 2 miles over to the real Edible Arrangements store! Never again!
Delivery was "attempted" except I've been at the delivery location all day and not once was Amy delivery attempted. This was supposed to deliver for a birthday, and now it won't be there for her. Called customer service and they said they couldn't get in touch with the store and they would have it resent in the morning... after it sits at the shipping facility in florida all night and melts.? I do not recommend sharis berries ever...
Pictures look great. Product does not. Kinda disappointed in the photo vs actual. For the price, I'd hope they were better.
Ordered these cute Halloween strawberries for $72 and they came MELTED & look nothing like the website picture. For $72 for some strawberries I was expecting HIGH quality strawberries. I have included the website picture with what I actually received. They offered me a 50% discount or a reorder but I took the 50% discount that is supposed to be in my bank in 7 days.
I ordered 3 days in advance with a confirmation of an on time delivery. The item arrived one day late. Very disappointed. Unfortunately, I had not read the reviews prior to ordering. One day late, no refund on shipping charges, and the link to submit your concerting does not work on the website.
My wife received some chocolate strawberries sent by one of her friends as a gift to celebrate the arrival of our baby daughter. Twice this company sent strawberries that arrived looking like they'd been put in a box and tied to a donkey's backside and dragged around the World three times. Absolutely appalling! The overnight delivery turned out to be 4 days and the ice pack wasn't remotely cold. Take some free advice - do not order anything from this company! How they remain in business is a anyone"s guess (?). If I could give them zero stars I would - SHOCKING! A massive thumbs down! They'll be getting a negative BBB review, too.
I have ordered many times in the past and neverbhad an issue. So I placed an order for the happy face berries for my boss on bosses day. I had it delivered to my house the day before (a Thursday) to make sure I got it on time and everything was ok with the order. THANK GOD I DID. The berries were super small and horribly decorated (see pics). I called to complain and ask for a replacement. Come to find out they use "local shops" to make many of their orders. I was super annoyed and said I want my order to come from them directly since I never had an issue in the past, and I dont want some "local shop" to make my order. I was told they could not do a replacement order for the next day (Friday) but offered me Monday (next business day). I accepted and then after checking my confirmation email see that they again chose a "local shop" to make my order. I called a second time and was told that design i chose could not be done by them, but I can choose a different design and they will ship direct from them, not from a local area. I agreed... but now my order would be coming on Tuesday. So Tuesday comes... no berries. I called now a 3rd time and was told they will have it to me "as soon as possible ". Dont waste your time or money
I ordered 2 dozen birthday berry's for my daughter, unfortunately her flight to get home was delayed and she may not get home for a few days,, they could not recall the delivery so I pissed away $105.00 for no reason,, they did not offer any solutions for this issue, other than Were Sorry,,

Worst company, should be out of business. I sent berries for a bday and it was NOTHING like the picture they advertised. If you want to contact them, there is no email available, and the chat starts with a robot and connects you with a person, but no one comes on. The quality is really bad.
I submitted an edible bouquet order for a delivery date within two days. I was worried after reading so many terrible reviews on this site and considered cancelling my order out of panic, but decided to see if the delivery would be on time. Thankfully, the order was delivered to my friend without any issues.
I received an email confirming the order, another one stating that the order was being prepared by a local shop, and a third email once the delivery was successful. My friend said the edible bouquet looked really nice, the fruit and chocolate tasted great, and she was very happy with her surprise gift.
My 51st birthday was Sep 23rd. My two daughters ordered me 2 flower bouquets and a dozen of strawberries. When they arrived, the Strawberries had a strong over ripe smell. The cold packs were on the side of the box and the Strawberries were warm. Although I rushed the Strawberries into the fridge, 3 out of the 6 I attempted to eat had mold/ mushy.
I ordered for my anniversary 5 days prior expecting my gift to show up. Well no I did not. I called 3 times and all I got was we'll make it right, or no call back at all. I asked how are they gonna make something right when they needed to be delivered on this day and there not here? Then I get we'll contact the delivery service you'll get an email shortly. Guess what never got anything at all. I would never refer this company to anyone period ever. This was a special day and it ruined the whole plan. I had to put one star to post but honestly they deserve - 10 stars at this point
I ordered on 9/17 for a 9/24 delivery. There was no update from FedEx all that day and at 8 I called shari's berries very upset and canceled my order and asked for a refund. It was pretty important that they arrive on the 24th. They did show up the next day and with ice packs. They looked and tasted great. I would just order for the day before you actually need them. Ours were shipped by FedEx and not local so maybe that's why the look and taste were right
I ordered my berries in July to be delivered on July 31st. They did not get sent the next day, so they arrived a week later after a very hot summer. They arrived as strawberry/chocolate goo... I called Sharie's Berries and they issued me a refund on August 8th 2021. I waited for two weeks, called again and they said that it would take 30 days to process. Called back on Sept 8th and 1800flowers said, it takes 30-40 BUSINESS days. It's now Sept 21st and still no refund. I've been ordering from them for years and since 1800 flowers took over, the quality has gone way down. I've disputed this with Paypal and in 4 days will dispute it with my credit card company. DO NOT ORDER FROM 1800Flowers. Their Smile Guarantee is absolutely false.
I ordered 12 dozen gourmet chocolate coveted strawberries for my dad's 80th birthday. Shipping was delayed for 4 days. The SMELL coming from The unopened box told me right away we had a problem. It took me HOURS to get rid of the horid smell left in my dad's kitchen. Nothjngvsays happy birthday like rotten strawberries! Note to company... perisble items need to arrive within 2 days.
I was traveling and sent my wife flowers and chocolate dipped strawberries. The strawberries are on verge of inedible. Gross taste and a epic fail for a gift. I will never ever use them again. Like throwing away a $100. Good thing my wife said it's the thought that counts.
Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
