I have a felony and multiple convictions on my record and this site said i had no criminal history! I even did checks on known sex offenders and they didnt even show up! This site is a scam and a waste of money! DO NOT USE!
I wanted to comment on the excellent service Richelle provided me when I called this afternoon to cancel my service. She was extremely prompt and courteous in identifying my membership and cancelling my account. I had used the service once back in April 2015 and was very pleased with the service provided. However I did not know that I was signing up for a monthly service that I did not need or require.
I was ready for a battle, however Richelle immediately diffused the situation and we came to an agreeable resolution. I appreciate the trust you put in your employees to take charge and make decisions.
I will be happy to use your service in the future should I find the need.
MOST of the information was correct, but was missing a majority of the information. I ran a check on self so i know what should have been there. I have two misdemeanor offenses on my record, but it said i have nothing on my criminal background, so this was in accurate (unless they only check for felony offenses) It had most of my address history, however it had a lot of addresses i have never lived at or used. It has me listed as related to Manny many people that i am not related to. It listed many email dresses that i have never heard of. It told me i had no judgments or liens against me, which i have one. Also tried looking up my ex- wife and her information was wrong as well. And when it came to bankruptcies, judgments and liens, it makes you pay an additional 10 bucks on top of what you already paid to... in my opinion this is defiantly a rip-off. Buyer beware.

Sometimes there is more data and more current data available on some individuals than others. This can be dependent upon things like the state in which you reside and what is considered public record. There are also differences from county to county in what kinds of criminal data they make digitally available.

I ordered their trial $1.00,5 day trial subscription. They state cancel within 5 days To STOP by phone or email. I emailed them the 2nd day to cancel subscription. Then 5 days after email they take $25.47 out of my PayPal account. I emailed again. I'm still waiting for the $25.47 refund. Also, the company is a total ripoff in the first place. The one day I did try their service - they want more money for anything really needed. Very misleading information.

This company is a ripoff. At first, it seems like a free service then after waiting 15 minutes for the reports they finally tell you there is a $25 fee. What they don't tell you is after you agree to pay the $25 fee that it automatically keeps billing you every month. Don't use them it is a scam to start stealing money from you every month!
I called eaier today to request information about my account, and to my surprise I was helped very well by Melissa who was prompt, effective and very professional. I commend both her, and the person(s) who hired and trained her. Melissa was a god hire, was well trained, and is therefore an asset to Been Verified.

The free, nomonal fee, trial period was a great idea! I was able to get accurate information quickly! I had planned on extendingmy subscription but I just found out I need to move and things things are tight. Retirement income isn't the grestest. After the dust settles I will try to come back!
Oh! And the customer service beats EVERY BODY out there!
A CON. Signed up for what I thought was apparently a 7 day trial, but must have clicked a box agreeing to whatever terms they were asking. Canceled 2 days after signing up, but was charged $29.95, the explanation when I contested this was that I had checked the box for checking people's records or something to that effect. All I wanted to do was look up phone #'s for an upcoming reunion and almost all the phone #'s were disconnected... so not only did I get screwed out of $29.95, but there information was not the least bit accurate... I also check my information while I was at it and it was incorrect as well. MY ADVICE... DON'T USE THIS WEBSITE!

It found my person. Spy fly.com gave me all of that information I'm going to try one other name out of it give me the same information which is nothing I'm canceling now

This site has people call and abuse you to confirm your personal private information. They dont care if they put you in danger or your kids. There costumer service is $#*! they try to manipulate you into to getting a link that costs money sent to your phone. So you can text there costumer service and they purposely prevent you from speaking to a live person and the phone will hangup on you. It records your number and then they put it out on there site publically so if you want your info removed dont use your phone to call, never use real info to contact them. These people are vultures and get people hurt. NEVER confirm any info over the phone they have messed up tactics DONT confirm your name
It SUCKS bigtime. They had information tied to me even though it was not my name or even like they say ALIAS. Very difficult to believe anything they say when you look up your own record, and it is@ 2/3 incorrect.

This web site is a scam to rob you on a monthly basis DO NOT USE
They do not have any way to cancel on the website and continue to bill you every month also the information that you get is bogus crap that you can get with an ordinary web search. When you call to complain or try to cancel they simply hang up on you. This should be called been scammed instead of been verified!
Through my initial inquiry on Been Verified, I was able to find out the location of a friend from many years ago When I recently requested that my Been Verified membership be cancelled (since I didn't plan to make further inquiries), I received prompt, courteous, and patient service, both by phone and email. Thank you for a totally professional experience!
EVERYTHING listed below TRUE. I sesrched people who for sure had a record and they came clean and other information was outdated. Im frustrated I have to sit here and waste my time with this comment after I've already wasted my $. Thank God my bank was willing to refund me the money. I wish I would have reviewed these reviewe before signing up.

BeenVerified doesn't create the information; we aggregate public data and public records from many, many sources into one easy-to-read report. We are dependent upon the accuracy and availability of information in public records. With criminal data, some states and counties provide us with more data (more case information, cases dating farther back, etc) than other counties. There are still some counties that don't make their criminal data digitally available to us for aggregation into our database. It would be helpful to know of some specific examples where you ran into this issue, so I can look into this with our data team. Do NOT waste your "$1.00"! When you go to cancel the service they charge you $37.00... They charge this for inaccurate information! The information that I found could be deleted from my report but others were still able to see the bogus info! This site does compile all of the free inaccurate information and charge for it!

I enrolled in your service to search for information about an old acquaintance. It really was not helpful and I canceled the account on the same day. I had a lot of trouble with the automated cancelation and I guess I overreacted by complaining to BBB. I was contacted by Carla, who assured me that that the account had indeed been canceled. She was very gracious and she even gave me a refund, which I did not expect. She is truly an asset to your company. You should have her cloned!

Regarding criminal results specifically, results will include criminal data that has been made available to us for aggregation into our database by county courts, departments of correction and other state agencies. Some counties make more information digitally available than others (for example some counties include traffic violations and arrests while others may only report felony convictions) and there are still some counties that do not yet make their data available to us for aggregation into our criminal database. On the Criminal section of every report, we provide a View Coverage Area button, that allows you to view our sources of criminal data from each state.
That being said, we are constantly working to update and expand our database to provide the most accurate and current information we possibly can. I'm sorry to hear you felt the service was not helpful.
