Not sure why they have a 2. Something rating, but bca has the best quality at amazing prices, ship within 24 hrs usually, they answer thier phones, and they are American made... even if they had a few illegals. Most companies do. I've bought literally over a dozen uppers or compete rifles from them and never have I gotten junk. The first gen side charging bolt sucked but they reacted and built an awesome gen 2 handle. 5 five stars 7 days a week

The extractor broke on 7.62x39 upper after first 30 rounds. Chamber needs to be honed because round is tight. And that cause extraction problem. Reached out to Customer service to try to get extractor all I get is ticket number. Solution, I ordered extractors from 3 different companies and hope at least one will work. Ordered a chamber hone so I can clean chamber right. Should have bought from a better company. I think the more expensive product would be better. Maybe they wouldn'leave you hanging

Recently had to send in a brand new whole complete 223wylde and a 350legend upper. Received my 223wylde upper only today and it's no different then when I had sent it in. Now there is metal shavings all over my bolt carrier, crap all over the gas line, gas block is out of place and at an angle…. Only now have to wait to even see if there cleaning of the chamber fixed the multiple issues this gun was giving. But will have to wait until I receive the lower to give it a try. Which I higher doubt the crappy clean up job fixed anything. So great for this repair to return the same as it was before it got sent out.

Have bought 4 different calipers of Uppers. Have installed them on 3 different Lower brands and all fit snug and work great, especially the 2nd generation side charging uppers.

I ordered a complete upper and 2 Six position stocks. I received then in a timely fashion however when I received then they where label as item 1 and item 2 on the box upon opening the box 1 the upper was what I ordered. Box 2 had one 6 position stock not 2 like I ordered. I immediately sent email advising of such with no response I waited 5 days and sent a second one which also included my order number. Still no response. I called and could never speak with a real person. Read other reviews they all had same issue no response other then we couldn't find your order based on email. Well I provided email and order number.

I elected to write this after seeing that the few reviews left for Bear Creek Arsenal are mostly negative. I made my first purchase from bear creek arsenal in the summer of 2021. The process was seamless, shipping was fast, and the product was good. The product was good when compared to competitors' products costing twice as much. When considering the price, the product was awesome. I purchased a complete upper and it looks flawless and shoots the same. You cannot expect their products to be equal to barrels and uppers costing 5 times as much, but you have to remember that you can abuse five BCA uppers for the price of one high end upper. I will do business with BCA again. I plan on purchasing another complete upper from them within the next month.

Everything looked great. Everytime I pulled the charging handle back the bolt would jam. Found out the firing pin retainer was missing. Bought one myself and now it works fine.

I have ordered many products from BCA and have always been happy with the products and very fast delivery. I have never needed to contact customer service until now and I was surprised. As soon as the customer rep answered the phone, her greeting sounded angry or irritated. Before I had a chance to speak, this lady is already mad. So I very politely inquired about my order and got short, nasty replies and could not get any help from this person at all. Great products, rude customer service. One of the main reasons I order from BCA is not only affordable, quality products but swift processing and shipping. I hope this was just one customer rep and it doesnt reflect the overall attitude at BCA towards their customers.

This company helped me out with a defective product that I received. They immediately sent another one over while I shipped the defective one back. I didn't need to argue or anything, after I explained the defect they put an RMA right through. I have since purchased other products with no issue.

Very poor experience! Shipped me the wrong part, and taking forever to ship replacement. Lied to me. Slow to respond via email and refused to have a customer service manager call me. Products seem to be well made- review is based on customer service (Or lack thereof).

Purchased a 7.62x39 complete upper receiver. Have sent it back for quality issues. First time the BCG was out of spec and the barrel was marked up from poor machining. Got it sent back and it still didn't function. And the BCG was had corrosion. They sent me a replacement and it still doesn't fire. This is the 5th product I've purchased from them and won't be purchasing anymore. Can't even get a response from the warranty department

Beautiful. 350 Legend Upper. Very accurate and easy to install on my Radical Firearms's lower. My only criticism is at first every third shot or so would jam for the first 50 shots or so. Luckily the jam were easy to fix, and the problem has since resolved itself. I do wonder why? Otherwise it's a great upper!

I don't want to bash the company this is more of a post to ask for advice and see if others have the same issues I'm experiencing.
I ordered 2 300blk side charge uppers about 8 months back but haven't fired them. This is because I've noticed that there is an issue feeding, I have loaded several different mags and when I pull back on the side charge it never goes all the way home. Of course because there isn't a forward assist, I can never get the bcg to fully go forward. I have tried several mags and mainly have issues with pmags so I have to drop the mag clear it and try again. On some of my older metal mags I can cycle about 2-3 rounds just pulling back the charging handle and then it gets stuck.
I have also tried these mags in some of my rear charge and they work just fine. I'm not sure at this point if it is the upper or maybe the buffer spring, or possibly the bcg but I'm not sure what it could be.
Overall, the customer service I can't speak on because I haven't dealt with them but I do remember the shipping was quick. Just wish these would work and I'm hoping the company has an idea of what it could be. Again not bashing them I'm sure it's something minor but need ideas.

For the money this barrel shoots sub moa 5 shot groups at 100 yards. Great value as I have shot over 100 rounds using break in procedures recommended by BCA. Bore scope inspections show very consistent lands and groves. Bullets from 130 grain to 190 grain full metal jackets feed nicely and smoothly. Gas port was consistent and smooth, with no burrs. Finish was consistent and evenly applied on the entire barrel. Both ends of the barrel had threads that were easy to use as they were clean, without any issues.
Go ahead and buy it... you won't regret it.

Everyone of my friends including me love BCA the Gen 2 upper assembly is one of the best around never a problem. And very accurate. We shoot long range from 200 yds to over 1000 yds 400 yds shoot 2"x4" metal target's. I also have a few rear charging uppers that also are great shooters. The service you get from the staff is outstanding never a problem orders and parts online and on the phone. Thank you BCA for your fine uppers. Just would like you to bring back the 224 Valkyrie a 243 light weight AR 10

I recently purchased a 7.62x39 10.5" barrel AR Pistol with side charging handle. Bear Creek claimed in the add and description that it was the updated version with the enhanced bolt and firing pin so it would cycle steel cased ammo. It does not have the enhanced bolt or firing pin and absolutely would not fire steel cased ammo. I tried to contact them by email and phone multiple times and was ignored. YES, I checked my spam. Since they wouldn't respond, I got an enhanced firing pin, at my cost, from Black Rifle Arms. Now it fires steel cased just fine but the gun is so under-gassed that it won't cycle at all, steel or brass. Failure to feed after failure to feed. The bolt either comes back just far enough to eject, but doesn't pick up a round, or it picks up the round and jams. I am using the brand of mags that Bear Creek recommends. The mags are not the issue. I have cleaned and polished the chamber and bolt (the chamber was pretty cruddy, which leads me to wonder if this was a firearm that they sold before and it was sent back), and oiled it with Ballistol. It is obviously a gas issue at this point. Oh... and I even tried a different buffer and spring set up. I try to support gun manufacturers and I want them all to succeed, but Bear Creek Arsenal will not respond to me so my advice is stay away from them. They clearly send merchandise out the door that is NOT what they described and that they did not function test, and it appears they do not care. I hope you learn from my loss.

I bought a 22lr upper and it came with no magazine. They never compensated be for 100 dollars different when the price changed so i paid 400 dollars instead of 300 dollars. I was writing to their customer service and never got a response back. I would love to give them a call if they are still available

If you're on a budget there is simply no better place to go, not sure why this site has a bunch of negative reviews of BCA. I ordered an upper on a Thursday and it came in the following Monday, it took just over a week to get to me from across the country which is pretty good I just wish they wouldn't use FedEx. If you're looking to build a budget-friendly AR this company brings amazing value to the table and I have no complaints so far and I'm as confident as one can be in a $300 upper. We will see how it faires as I shoot more, if there are any problems I will keep this updated but as of right now I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I have purchase a lot of items of Bear Creek never had an issue with customer service, great previous experience. Recently WOW, they do not answer the phone, do not reply to email inquiries, do not reply to internal website emails within the site. Just horrible service, if you forgot to add your 1st responder or Mil/ Veteran discount the response has been about too bad the order is already placed cant help you. Only way for them to make a change to cancel an order is literally to get your credit card or bank to push back on the purchase. Very disappointing been buying from them for years with no problems. I'd say they went from A rating F-.
