I've bought 3 uppers from BCA and all 3 are good quality uppers. My 350 legend is a tack driver at 100yards. Quality of the parts are way better than expected for this price point. And so far with 100 or more rounds through my 350 legend, there have been no failures. 10/10 recommend BCA!

Seem to be going downhill

We have been a BCA dealer for 6 years now. That being said, we went through a rough patch a few years back where the service was pretty much noon-existent and we had to order in very large quantities, well in advance, not knowing when we would get a shipment. Then things got much better over the past two or three years. Within the past couple of months, our orders are either taking a longer time to get shipped or shipments are being sent out with incorrect or incomplete parts. Don't ever try calling them as they either do not answer their phones or they screen you to the point that you still don't get in touch with your requested party. It is getting frustrating... to say the least.

I found Bearcreek site and signed up for there newsletter to get a discount. Which I did not get. I chated and was given a new customer 10% discount code I went through the order process and saw no place to put in my code. I thought that that would happen, after I hit the order button. I found out latter that the code box was out of view below the order button. I immediately sent an email and then I called at 7 am pacific time and was told that there was nothing they could do. I called my credit card company and got on a three way call and still nothing. They said that I could send it back and reorder. I said I would just refuse the delivery. They said ok. It all made no sence to me. The customer service was very dry and unresponive to anything I said. I can see from other reviews that this has happened to others.

I ordered a 556 upper from them. When it came in the mail the forward assist was loose in the box. After inspecting it i also noticed that the handguard would back and forth about half an inch. Also the dust cover looked like it had been to Afghanistan on a few deployments. After talking to kristian, ( very nice and helpful) with customer service, the upper was sent back to be worked on. 1 week later my return came in and what do you know... the forward assist is completely missing. I guess it fell out and is on a fedex truck somewhere lol Im sending it back for a full return and would never gamble my money on BCA again! BUYER BE WARE!

Per our website anything sent back within 30 days of purchase is refunded however if you choose to request a refund after the 30 days, we will honor a store credit for the same amount. There is a restocking fee, and this is to help mitigate the returns of firearms being tested or played with just to be returned and exchanged for another, it’s a somewhat protective measure to ensure companies are not being abused, many companies employ this strategy. Furthermore, we also offer a lifetime warranty for all our products, if you are having struggles with or don’t believe it is functioning correctly, we will repair or replace it at zero cost to you, and we will also handle all the shipping fees.

We recognize not all our customers will like our policies, but we certainly try to accommodate as much as possible. Once again, we are sorry you were frustrated with these policies.

I took this to the shooting range and it shot fairly smoothly. However, I clean my guns after shooting them and upon examination of the bolt, the bolt carrier key is cracked and damaged beside the Allen heads. Will be contacting customer service to get a replacement.

7.62 x 39 problems
April 21, 2022

I purchased 3 7.62 x 39 uppers in March to go on my AR lowers. 2 were 16 and 1 7.5 inch barrel. Right out of the box I started have " light strikes" on the primers. Called Cust service and they said I needed the " enhanced firing pin". OK. BCA sent one in 2 days. Installed and refired. Same problem. Contacted customer service again and said I needed to talk to tech. I have he ad NO luck getting hold of tech department. Customer service did ask was I shooting steel cased ammo. Well, duh... doesn't most of us! Don't offer a product then want us to change our ammo to shoot in your build because BCA can't figure out how to get it right. My last purchase from BCA.

After I purchased 450 rifle, it went on sale two days later. Most of the stores that I deal with give you refund if their product goes on sale, within time limits like two weeks period. But not Bear Creek Arsenal. I'm very disappointed with their customer service. Will never buy from them again.

BCA Upper Problems

I'm happy with the value for the money I paid. All I bought was received in good condition, the last two boxes included custom pieces of foam and a very solid box that could have suffered a 20 foot drop? I think so.

If I were to offer BCA any guidance, it would be to have some lighter weight uppers on the shelf, not everyone wants a heavy barrel.

The AR Pistol I ordered from them had a critical malfunction after less than 100 rounds fired. The extractor on the bolt face snapped off. For some of you who may not know this is what pulls back the casing to allow it to be kicked out after being fired. The shipping was abysmal. The lower arrived at the shop I ordered it to without a box. It also had a dent in it. It took 15 days to ship let alone the fact that when they actually shipped it they shipped half my order with (premium home shipping.) I paid 80$ for two day shipping so this felt kind of like a slap to the face. Especially because the premium shipping took 3 days to arrive. It's just a day but when you have been waiting 15 days for what turned out to be a broken product, its just frustrating. I would not recommend this company to anyone at this point. Avoid them please.

I paid for a 7.5 inch side charger in 7.62x39. I was sent a 10.5 inch upper. I contacted cust service thru email where it states it could take 14 days for them to get back to me. 14 days cause their employees sent the wrong item. After sending an email I waited a couple of days and called customer service myself. After realizing the item is now not in stock Was given the run around, after asking to speak to a manager was hung up on. But before that I was told to send it back it could take upto 14 days after they receive it. So that's 14 days (possibly) for them to get back to you, then you send back the item (x Amy of days) then if they have the item you actually paid for you get to wait (possibly)another 14 days = total 28 + days because their inspector JR to be exact sent out the wrong item. That's what you get from bearcreeks cust. Service.

My first several upper purchases was the Gen l. Handles worn through the boxes during shipping, reached out to them and they sent me replacements. But after running them the handles are loose. Then the Gen ll replacement program offered@ $99 ea. I bought two. Barrels were extremely over torqued. Standard M4 rear CH uppers ran fine. But l learned to check all hardware... loose gas blocks, cap screws (they will rust) on the hand guards and occasionally castle nut. My last purchase was the. 22 16" upper. Scratched receiver out of the box, FAILD to feed, fire and eject. Sent it back for refund. Upper was going to be a present for a young shooter. 10+ uppers l purchased. The. 22 was the deal breaker for me.

Waited the 5 days for the refund still nothing called again and spoke to a diffrent person that told me the claim want submitted after the previous call but was polite and helpful and had me the store credit the next day like bear creek products but the dismissive rude and unhelpful service was uncalled for to customers who what to do repeat business so see how this order goes was screwed out of sale prices previously because of UN prompt return

I like the product but last order waited 14 days for tracking info called and found out was never assembled or shipped so ask for refund of money or in store credit to keep spending money with the company have not received either can not reach customer service by phone or email starting to think money may be better spent elsewhere

Purchased a brand new AR15 upper receiver from a gun show in Berea, Oh, in February 2022. No receipt. Just cash and carry. Went to a shooting range to try it. Every other round got stuck in the chamber and did not eject. The gunsmith on premises examined the barell and said the chamber needs to be honed due to the poor quality of machining. He did not want to do it. Sugested to send it back to the manufacturer.
Called Bear Creek Arsenal. Left a message. A lady called back in a few hours. Explained what's going on. She said if is not in warranty, they will not fix it. Told her I am willing to pay. She refused.
The gunsmith at the range told me that BCA products are poor quality and he would not touch their stuff with a 10 feet pole. He was right. I wasted a few hundred dollars for crap.
I should have gotten an Anderson. Better quality and better customer service.

I ordered two more complete uppers the last couple of days that's over 10 complete uppers in the last 10 months I am really pleased with what I've received I've read a lot of the negative review and did understand them so I've tried to call and text left a message and it seems it's getting harder and harder to talk to somebody in customer service I didn't understand this in the review because every time I've ever had a problem they took care of it I don't know if this is due to covid and nobody wants to work in North Carolina getting that free government money like they do here in Arizona I understand Bear Creek Arsenal is swamped I would say 98% of the time they put out an awesome product and that's why everybody goes there I just hope they get their customer service under control because it is a great company a family owned business we have used them for a long time if you've read my other raeviews you know my wife is a bcs shooter and runs a shooting School in northern Arizona women only so I asked the people at Bear Creek please solve this problem and get to the bottom of it I've tried to call you numerous times and nothing ever happens I have texted and emailed you and it doesn't matter if I bought one or 50 aof your uppers we should all get the same customer service thank you very much Tim and Michelle in Arizona

18000 rounds shot

Yeah we had an ammunition inventory we figured out we fired closer to 18000 rounds through five guns these are all different barrel lengths we use them at a shooting school out west in Arizona we are looking at maybe adding a couple 10.5 complete uppers on pistol lowers for the girls to shoot as well I've been reading some of the things said about Bear Creek Arsenal most people will not write a positive review because they expect something to be good then you have some people that would complain about anything this is a company unlike all company one or two items might get away from their quality control but I give you my word if you would call bear creek they will fix the problem like I said some people will never be happy and those people expect the World by the tail for a penence we purchased over 20 uppers for the school people come back and shoot their weapons at our range all the time and we have seen no major problems again we are proud to put our names to this review Tim and Michelle out in Arizona enclosed is a picture of one gun that I know has seven thousand rounds through it with no problems there will be a picture of the bottom of this review again we get nothing from Bear Creek to write this review we are just happy customers and glad they're in business thank you Bear Creek Arsenal from your lowest paid labor to your highest c e o

Gone nuts

Used to be pretty good, lately they have messed up every order, i just came from gun shop where they ship my stuff and another order messed up, if something dont happen soon they will not stay in business, they owe me one upper and one lower and the way it looks who knows, i thing for sure they wont get recommended by me again.

Awesome business

I bought a 223 Wylde upper from Bear Creek Arsenal. In my personal opinion you can't find a better upper for the price and quality. I ordered on a Saturday and on Tuesday it was at my house so the shipping time is phenomenal. The upper shot groups smaller than a quarter at 100 yds. With bullets weighing 50 to 55 grains with factory ammo. Hope to try some heavier bullets soon. Now for durability so far so good but only time will tell but
I'm sure they stand by there products. With that being said I highly recommend Bear Creek Arsenal products.
